Gratitude from a mother who is so thankful for the care, compassion, and empathy shown under the care of Martha Sims/Pittington Counseling. I can see how my daughter trusts and has created a special bond with her counselor Martha Sims. My daughter, has been coping with multiple medical and personal distress and I know that Martha Sims has been a big impact in my daughter’s life. Martha Sims is helping my daughter to be able to cope with all of her afflictions. When my daughter comes from one of the appointments I can see the difference it makes on her life. How not to be grateful when you see how 1 person can impact for the good a person’s life in this case my daughter who has suffered so much in life and is dealing with different health diagnostics. It has not been an easy journey for my daughter and for us as a family to deal and acknowledge her many conditions and to accept there is no cure. I have witness some days how my child loses hope and even gets tired of being strong but then here is where Martha Sims comes along and knows exactly what my daughter needs to hear to make her journey more tolerable. I would Highly recommend Doctor Pittington to anyone. He is more than willing to answer calls or e-mails on weekends, or any other time, even though he doesn't see my daughter he did do her psych evaluation and anytime I need advice or have an issue he is there to lend and ear. I saw the post from a year ago from a patient and I would have agreed his office staff back then was awful her name was Alison and thankfully she is no longer with him. “I have been a patient of Dr.Pittington’s for over 2 years and during that time I have always received professional and courteous service from both Dr. Pittington and his administrative staff. I have had the experience of my sessions being cancelled but where possible notice has been given and an alternative appointment offered; when notice has been minimal, and this has usually been when he has been delayed at court, this has been explained to me and I have been offered the chance to be contacted if a cancellation arises. Based on my experience I feel that Dr.Pittington and his staff have a genuine concern for the well being of their patients.
