You book your seats online!! Came here twice already with my sister in law and both times was a great experience. The instructor is friendly and funny and keeps the mood going as he's instructing everyone. It's BYOB so you can even bring your own bottle and sip on wine while painting. I've even bought some small snacks toMunch on. Perfect for a girls night out, date, double date, mom daughter date whatever you name it. Went here with a group of friends from my church and it was honestly one of the best pain night experiences. The hosts were super funny and kind. The paining was beautiful and spot was comfortable and clean. They played really fun music reggae hip hop Afro beats rnb. The instructor was kind and helpful. The fries n empanadas were amazing. My friend asked me to join her group yesterday afternoon & I had such a wonderful time I wanted to share. Pinots Palette is always a fun night (this is my second time going) the step by step instruction, supplies, friends & wine make for a fun time. I really think this location stands out from other one I've been to. The owner was on site, he served as bar tender & was very knowledgeable about the wine menu he then assisted the instructor and employees, even walking around with a tray of Giradelli chocolates at one point. My fiance and I came here for an anniversary date. We came on Cinco de Mayo and had an amazing time. This is a great activity for so many holidays because they like to fit the theme of the day into your experience. As we were painting, a mariachi band was playing nearby, since we're in the heart of downtown Brea, and the teacher asked them to play a few songs for us while we finished our painting. It was an awesome experience and really complimented my Mexican lager I was enjoying as well. I love this location the staff is very friendly and helpful.  They also give tips if you made a mistake while painting.  The teachers instructs how to paint the scene very well.  Its very relaxing atmosphere, friendly, very easy to talk to other students and you can bring any alcohol beverages or non alcohol and snacks. This place has a great atmosphere, the owner was very friendly and funny. This is the first time I have been to a place like this. I went with a group of girls and we had a blast!!! I would definitely be coming back because the staff is very welcoming  it is very fun to paint and drink. For $35 for 2 hrs it is not that bad for at all I don't know how to paint anything at all so I thought I was going to do horrible but they teach you step by step and they help you along the way, my painting came out exceptional but I had a great experience painting it I got to meet new people. Really great place to paint! We went to an open studio session and it was a ton of fun! It was $15 to paint an 8" by 8" canvas with an instruction sheet, which was pretty reasonable for a few hours of painting. So thrilled with my experience here! We chose this place for our team building event. Upon arrival we found a cute welcome sign showcasing our event and Britt Welcomed us as we shuffle them. That we were all super nervous that we would not be able to paint as well as Brett she reassured us and was super friendly throughout the entire process. We even took a break and have a mini dance party with her! She showed us the black light and neon paint so that we would all be excited about coming back for another event. My favorite place to celebrate our birthday and anniversary is Pinot's Palette in Pasadena!  The artists come around and help the less "naturally talented" creatives (like me! )  The artist-in-charge has a microphone and explains every step of the picture to ensure success.  My friends were enraptured in their art and, for the first time, were very quiet busy bees.  Even my husband who likes to buy back my art (to throw it away) was in heaven and loved my painting!  The staff at Pinot's Palette creates a warm and happy atmosphere.  I understand that this particular location is exceptional!  There are snacks, wine, other beverages and smiles all around. I've been here on 2 separate occasions for birthday celebrations. The artist are wonderful and guide you well, but also give you autonomy to get in touch with your artistic side. I absolutely loved this experience. I should preface by telling you that I cancelled, rescheduled, and was downright indecisive multiple times. They were well within their rights to dismiss me, but they held up and took care of me to the point where I am writing this review. The instruction was excellent, the whole situation was way more professional and elevated than what you will be used to on Groupon. I want to take all my friends and date nights here from now on. It's extremely professional, my only note to the house is, please buy one brush smaller for detail, but that is industry standard, so their brushes are not bad. Followed up a dinner date with painting and it was fun!  I would say this is probably more like a 4.5.  We had a blast painting and really loved our teacher, Sunshine, who was infinitely helpful in our quest to create different color palettes for our identical pictures and in our secondary quest to continue drinking following our dinner before we arrived.  This meant she had to deal with occasional sing alongs with the top 40 mix (as well as dance moves), some bad jokes, and repeating instructions because of our extracurriculars.My only complaint is that the bartender, while lovely, had a tendency to get wrapped up in conversation with others and was not always manning the bar or noting when folks needed refills.  This wasn't that big of a deal as it's a small place so it wasn't impossible to get her attention.  We left with some pretty nice paintings (to my surprise!) and memories of a fun experience.  We would return to paint another picture, with the aid of champagne, for sure. We just had a private party tonight with Lucia and Evan!!  We were blown away with how easy they made our night, how accommodating they were and how much fun we had! I absolutely love Pinot's Palette in Brea! My friends and I had such a great time painting our sunsets and the staff was so lovely, helpful, and encouraging! We split a bottle of wine and we got free Lindt chocolates and it was exactly what I needed for a 3 hour painting class. It was over a year ago that we were invited here for a birthday event. I was worried about not being able to paint. Well.. there was definitely nothing to worry about. The host or instructor took everything step by step. The night before, hubby & I had a stressful situation occur at a concert venue. We were both feeling ptsd. I can't say enough good things about this place!!!I booked my five sisters and I here so we can sip n paint, and only ended up with THE BEST THING I'VE EVER DRAWN IN MY LIFE. The tutor/teacher/master guru painter was SO SWEET! They played upbeat music during the short breaks while people were catching up to the next step. I had a coupon from the Yelp event at the Jacksonville Library, and I was curious to go to a class, since I've done Painting with a Twist before. It was a little different that PWAT, but a fun night with a girlfriend. We chose to do the Cotton Candy Beach painting, which she said should've been labeled an advanced class, because the waves in the picture were really hard to paint! It would've been nice to know the level of difficulty that the painting will be, and the instructor did go a little bit too fast, because several people around us, including my friend, had a hard time keeping up. But, we were able to drink wine, have fun, and won several prizes for posting on social media! They are constantly updating their calendar, so make sure to sign up for their email newsletter, so that you can plan for the next class. Just had a great experience at Pinot's Palette. I can assure you I can't even draw a proper stick figure let alone attempt to mimic a Monet. Well, that's what I accomplished this evening. I mimicked a Monet. And for being my first time I believe I did pretty good. Not even close but good. For $35 you are given step by step instruction on how to paint the artwork of the evening. From how to mix the colors to what brush or stroke to apply. It is in a group setting so you do not feel singled out. There was fun music, a fun group, and the instructor (Janae) guided the group through this interesting painting. It was about two hours and well worth the price of admission. They even have a bar where you can purchase wine, beer, or even soda. A nice time and great for groups. I heard they will even come out to your party or business for a private class. I wanted to write a review as my boyfriend and I wanted to do something fun today. I called Jen prior to making our appointment online for open painting. She was very informative and let me know that this to paint whatever we liked or follow paintings with directions (what we decided to do). This is my second time coming here and I been hooked since my first time. This place is amazing! I am an artist so this place is my type of environment. During both my experiences, Adam was the painter and he is awesome and funny. He makes the painting even more fun. There are a great selection of different drinks. Overall, the whole painting process is lots of fun and easy to follow. My first painting here was the Verrazano Bridge and my second was the Aurora Reflections. Such a fun and amazing experience! I brought my mom and mother in law tonight for a wine and paint night, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Our instructor was very detail oriented, which worked in our favor because it made it easier for us to follow the steps. I absolutely LOVED the open bar! They had bottles of wine as well as beer. I recommend the Albino Rocca, it was really good. All in all, we had an amazing time and I will definitely come back to have a wine and paint night. My husband and I were looking for something to do for a belated Valentines night out. The owner Lucia was so nice and able to accommodate us even though they were fully booked! !! We got a little table just for the two of us. The bar area in the back had a good selection of wines & beers and snacks (which we were so happy about since we skipped dinner!). Total time was a little over 2 hours but it goes by fast. And more importantly, we both have a little souvenir to remember our night out. My boyfriend and I decided to come to a paint night before Valentine's Day and we were both kinda nervous since we never painted before but it turned out great. It was so much fun and our teacher Tiana guided the class so well and helped us with any mistakes we made. I'm glad they have a full bar and not just wine because my boyfriend only likes beer which was great. I found Pinot's Palette on Google because I really enjoyed my experience with paint nite a year ago. I signed up for the Project Pet class, sent in a picture of my dog, and waited patiently for the day to come. My bf and I arrived about 10 minutes before, put our stuff away in cubbies, and bought a beer to share. Pinot's Palette prepared a custom grayscale outline of our pets onto a canvas, which was super helpful. All the colors that we will potentially use have already been set up except for the background color. The instructor will come around asking for the color we wanted for the background and bringing us a separate plate with the colors we requested. The class was 3 hours long in total with a short break in between and time went by fast! The instructor started with the background, then focusing in on base color of fur, texture, and lastly the details of the face. Overall, I'm super happy with my painting and it reminded me of how much I missed art. Highly recommend this location! More...
