Was staying close by during a work trip and my eyebrows were WAY overdue for a waxing. After a bad threading several months back, I had been letting them grow and I was desperate for a shaping. I was able to have an appt with Deb and she was awesome!!  She took the time to really look at my brows, how they grow and figure out how to clean them up. They have never been in better shape. I came here as part of a bridal party and they did a superb job with all of our hair and makeup. For my makeup, I gave some direction as to what my preferences were and left the rest in her hands and when I looked at myself in the mirror, i was mind blown. I honestly could barely recognize myself; I couldn't believe I could actually look the way I did. It was a BEAUTIFUL look. I think it was appropriate for the wedding and it came through incredible in photos, which is not always easy. I was impressed and so appreciative! They hairdo was quick and easy curls throughout my hair. They held the ENTIRE night. Also, it didn't frizz, which was unbelievable. I was extremely impressed and satisfied. Congratulations! Seriously! While you have so many decisions to make, I hope my review will make choosing your wedding day salon that much easier. I was referred to Pink Dot by my amazing wedding planner, Rachel Hall from Elevents. Katie was our POC, and she was amazing to help coordinate the contract, timing, secure the suite, and helped with makeup the day of. She was super helpful in helping my guests and I plan additional appointments, and handling any other questions from guests! We stayed at one of my favorite hotels ever, The Meeting Street Inn, which is super convenient and only a few blocks away!! The salon is super cute, and the entire staff is helpful. Heather colored my hair a few days prior to the wedding, and did a gorgeous updo for my wedding hair. I had a chignon with a little volume on top. Very classic, and she did an amazing job! She is so nice also. I got so many compliments from her work. Becca did my makeup, and is a doll! She captured my look exactly, and was so sweet and fun to work with. We had fun! I rented the upstairs suite for the bridesmaids to get ready on my wedding day. It was the perfect space. Heather and Becca made me feel as though we were family. They took great care of the whole bridal party and made me feel like the most beautiful bride! Heather worked absolute magic on my long thick hair and she was ahead of schedule the whole day, which helped me to stay relaxed. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup with no complaints, which everyone should know is next to unheard of! I was nervous about having airbrush makeup done because I usually wear little to no makeup. Becca did a wonderful job though! My makeup was so light weight and stunning. It lasted all evening. I am so grateful that I chose Pink Dot Beauty Bar and would recommend it to all!

Came in for wedding makeup on a Saturday! The place is super cute and the ladies are quite friendly. They do try to up-sell you on lipstick/whatever was used on your face. The one specification I gave about my make-up was that I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and would prefer a lighter application. When I looked in the closeup mirror, I was wearing a lot of makeup! DIdn't feel caked-on because I assume they're using quality products. After reading many reviews of different salons, I decided to use Pink Dot Beauty Bar and they were fantastic! Katie Kyle did a remarkable job on my hair and makeup. I opted for air brush makeup which I had never had before. It looked flawless and she made me feel and look beautiful for my portrait session and wedding day. My bridal party also had air brush makeup which looked phenomenal. During my trial session, I showed Katie a few pictures of the look I was going for and she went straight to work to create the look I wanted. She was spot on! I had a wonderful experience with Pink Dot! I got married a couple weeks ago, and had a hair and makeup package for myself and my bridesmaids from Pink Dot. We had Becca do makeup and Heather do hair. They did beautiful work and were done in good time. We all received a lot of compliments on our hair and makeup! Heather also offered to style my mom's hair at no additional charger. She was so appreciative! I would like to note that I do feel our final invoices should have been provided earlier than they were. My wedding was 4/22, our final invoices were sent 4/18 and were due 4/20. I feel that the final invoices should be provided at least a couple weeks before the event to allow for proper planning. That is my only complaint about Pink Dot. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The stylists at Pink Dot are extremely talented, and I definitely recommend them for weddings! More...

The owner Megan & her staff are INCREDIBLY supportive of nursing and pumping mamas, #1 - first and foremost!!! I have to call that out! I came in to town to explore Charleston with my best friend & maid of honor and had so much anxiety having to plan my weekend in 3 hour intervals, as a breastpumping mama...they allowed me to pump during my amazing pedicure with Jacqueline - she was so sweet, supportive and gives one helluva pedicure!!! Gigi gave a fantastic pin curl blowout and even used a special shampoo she personally received for her birthday on me bc she thought I'd love it! They have us wine as well - So not only is this place amazing for blowouts and pedicures - but they are amazingly supportive of nursing mamas and the GIRL POWER VIBE here is loud and proud!
