Just picked up our 2 retrievers from another stay at Pinethwaite. It is a home away from home and they are treated and live as part of the family. They have a fab time running around the fields so much so our older retriever Millie didn’t want to come home. Would definitely recommend this 5 star doggie hotel. Can’t recommend enough, susie and Tess had a 2 night stay in September, it was our first time ever leaving them with any one, it felt like home to home which is great , very welcoming, was kept up dated on how they were which was very reassuring, both susie and Tess had a great time , and were looked after with compassion and care would most definitely recommend thank you Joanne x

First time leaving my puppy, where else would we choose, other than the place we bought her from . Polly, Paul and family at Pinethwaite Pets are fantastic. If you're looking for a 'home from home' for your pet while you're on holiday then this is exactly what they provide. Our Labrador Paddy has just spent a week with them all being cared for as one of their own. Living in their home, free roaming around their extensive gardens and surrounded by family. Our four month old Labby, Bertie has just had his holidays with Polly and family at Pinethwaite. We bought him from Polly in November and as we had a holiday booked Polly had him back as a home boarder. He had a great time, lots of exercise, and made new friends. Polly is great as she posts photos for you to see, which is reassuring, and looks after her boarders as if they are her own. We thoroughly recommend Polly and Bertie will be visiting again! More...

This was Sky's first visit to Pinethwaite Pets and at just 3 months old I was slightly nervous at leaving her but she had a great time playing with other dogs and having fun. What do you love most about your job?
This job gives me the freedom to be with one of my favourite things (dogs) and to get out and about in the great outdoors. Being flexible means I encounter a range of clients who come is all shapes and sizes. No two days are the same!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have my own dogs and my passion for them led me to be searching for reputable dog lovers to help out whilst I worked. I then realised it was actually what I wanted to be doing too!
Why should our clients choose you?
I love dogs dearly and think exercise, fun, stimulation and a ooodles of attention are essential for their everyday happiness. I offer a wide range of flexible options to suit every dogs needs.
