Very honest people and their work is great!. I once had to go to the gas station near my neighborhood and they charged me $150 more than this gas station would charge. When I complained to the gas station in my neighborhood, they called and checked the price with this shell gas station and they later told me that this shell gas station that I go to has really great price and honest. The shell gas station people don't even know me but still explained everything to someone from other gas station who called them about the price. After that, I never go anywhere else but this gas station. Great service and people are nice.I saw a feedback that this gas station charges $35 for putting the air into tires, and I think that person might have mistaken with some other gas station. Great friendly staff.Very polite and reasonably priced. Located next to a 711 and plaza so you can grab something while you wait or get drinks and coffee here within the store. Bonus points on the fan amd tvThe owner is friendly and rapidly replies to yelp messages and quotes.The owner isnt lazy either. Currently he is running the register. Talking to customers on the phone while helping customers in the lobby as well. One Friday morning after driving in to work, I noticed one of my lights was not working in my BMW.  Called the dealer, but they did not have any appointments available until Saturday. This was disappointing since I had weekend plans. My boss, (drives similar car) suggested I call his mechanic Mustafa. Mustafa told me to bring my car whenever I could - no appointment was necessary. I have to admit, upon driving up to a Shell station, I was a bit apprehensive as I have only dealt with BMW for car repairs. It also seemed pretty busy, and I envisioned spending the afternoon waiting in a mechanics shop for my car - but it was better than wasting a Saturday.A few minutes later, however, a smiling Mustafa handed me my keys and told me I was good to go!  Another great surprise was my bill... It was MUCH less than I expected.  (I had a similar repair previously performed on the other side, so I was mentally prepared for a much higher number).Mustafa and his team were knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely friendly and fast. I was on my way down 236 one afternoon when I realized my tires needed air. I pulled in to the garage and was met by Murad, a friendly mechanic. Murad was gracious enough to fill my tires but he also pointed out the rim damage that was causing my tires to lose air pressure. I returned the next week and in no time, he fixed my tires and I was able to get my state inspection done. This is a good group at work at this station. More...

I was writing this review because this could help someone who wants a better service and cheaper price. Before coming to this gas station I visited around 10-15 gas stations around this area to do my car's emission test but the emission test was failed and none of them offered me reasonable price to fix my car. I came to Pinecrest shell through my friends reference and spoke with manager he responded politely and took my car for inspection, after finding the problem he offered me very reasonable price for the replacement parts and even labour. The best part is they delivered my car within 4 hours and now my car is running pretty fine. Im glad that I found a good place to fix my car and I will surely visit them again for my oil change or any other services. More...

If I could give this establishment more stars I would.  I found them on Yelp and they did not disappoint.  They gave me a great price, were friendly, explained the work to me, and I was in and out in about 2 hours.  They worked on my 2005 Dodge Caravan and I saw all kind of foreign and domestic vehicles being tended to.  Whatever your mechanical or car repair needs are they seem to be well suited to help!This gem of a garage reminds me of the service stations my dad would use when I was growing up.  Finding an honest and quality mechanic is hard these days and I am so happy I found these gentlemen.  Thank you so much Mustapha! If I were to use the CSI (Customer Service Index) method to rate my entire experience at Pinecrest Shell Auto & Repair - it would say, "A highly Satisfied Customer"When arrived at Pinecrest Shell Auto & Repair, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner, Mustafa. As a satisfying customer, I felt the owner himself was a great 'service advisor' to me:1) He was focused on my needs! Mustafa and his crew came highly recommended and they didn't disappoint. For years, I've always taken my car to the dealer service repair shop. ..always. But this time I just couldn't stomach the cost they gave me for brakes, rotors, and tires. I emailed Mustafa and requested dealer parts and a certain brand of tires and it still came out a few hundred dollars less than what I would have paid at the dealer. Plus I even got a car wash. I have been coming to this station for many years. I just wish I would of found out about this station sooner. The owner/manager Mustafa is excellent! He is very transparent and honest.  I am sure we have all heard the horror stories of mechanics taking people for rides. But not at this location. I once had taken my car to a garage off of four mile run drive and they told me that my car needed a new transmission.  So I had taken my car to Mustafa and it was simple part that was less than $50. So he saved me a ton of money! The station is clean, has a nice seating area and the staff are excellent. Carlos one of the cashiers always greets you with smile. I have brought in my car at the last minute a few times and they still checked out my car. They have a courtesy shuttle that I have used twice. I have been taking all the cars I've owned to these guys for over 10 years. They used to be in a different location, but I will follow these guys as long as we are still in the same metro area. There is no one else I would trust than them with my car. Like what the other reviewers are saying, they are honest and will not try to scam you for $$. They do quality work and guarantee it. If they fix something and it breaks again, they will fix it again for you with no extra charge until it is completely fixed. They really care about their customers, and if you are a regular they will remember you and give you a warm welcome when you return. They will give you a ride home if you live nearby or to a coffee shop etc if you don't want to wait at the shop. There are many yummy bakeries in Annandale with free WiFi so I didn't mind when I had to spend 4 hours waiting there! The shop also has WiFi if you decide to wait there. I would not take my car anywhere else.  I have a tuned FBO BMW 335xi and have done a majority of work myself.  However, when I can't finish a job, don't have the right tool, or cannot figure out the issue, I always take it to Moustafa and his staff.  Very honest people, reasonable prices, and a quick turnaround time.  I have come to Pine Crest Shell several times for "emergency" service.  They have always found a way to accommodate me in a timely manner, despite how busy the shop was.I recommend this shop to all car owners.  I am very finicky about my car and wouldn't even let the dealership touch it. This shop is very friendly & attentive to customers! Best of all, it offers some of the lowest, most reasonable estimates in the area; they have a free personal shuttle service (great!); AND they always have been able to get to my car pretty quickly (despite a stream of loyal customers) without an appointment. The mechanics at this shop are one point. I came here purely because of the good reviews I'd read on Yelp, and I wasn't disappointed.  I was coming here just for my emissions inspection, but while I was waiting, I figured I would ask the man behind the shop desk whether my car really needed the new transmission fluid that the dealership has been bothering me about for the last year.  (Seriously, I was worried that my car would break down on the side of the road based on the big hullabahoo that the dealership made out of it.  They said I was way past the point when I should've changed the fluid, and that I needed to change it yesterday.)First, the man was nice enough to actually ask one of the mechanics to check my transmission fluid.  Second, they were actually honest about their assessment.  The mechanic checked the fluid and said it was fine - I could probably drive another year before changing it.  I know most shops wouldn't pass up the opportunity for more $$.  And then third, they provided a minor service for free.  Pushing my luck, I asked if he could check my power steering fluid too, and the mechanic was happy to do it.  He said it looked fine but that I could top it off with a little more fluid since it was a little below the full line.  Then he grabbed some power steering fluid and did it for free.  Now that's service!This location is a bit out of the way for me, but I'm planning to return because I actually trust the people here. Great work for low price. It's sort of out of my way, but I went here on the recommendation of a coworker. I needed some work on my suspension, and the dealership quoted me more than I could pay. This place isn't as fancy as the dealership, but I saved SO much money! They even caught some things that the dealership had missed, and that would've caused more problems down the road. The service was quick and courteous, and they've got great hours. They also guarantee their repairs, which is great for my peace of mind.  I will definitely be coming back here if I have problems with my car again. More...

This service station is under new management. They are very nice, professional and also provide a free diagnosis. They do emissions and inspections seven days a week which is very rare and it is what made me visit this station so I decided to try them out. I had them do some work on my Mercedes and the price for the service was less than half of what I paid at the Mercedes dealer and the quality of work was A+. I highly recommend this station!! The new management and mechanics have made this the best experience I have yet to have servicing any of my vehicles and its great to have that close location back for convenience. My cars (3) will only be serviced here and I have already recommended them to my family.On a side note: I was hesitant to return this station as I had only horrible experiences with the prior management and the lack of work they did yet charged for. This is one of the best service shops in the area. The new manager is driven by customer service. I recently sent my daughters vehicle to get routine maintenance and interior wood molding repaired and he did it alot lower than any shop in the area.
