Pilates is a series of nonimpact exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness.
Pilates is a form of strength and flexibility training that can be done at any level of fitness. The exercises can also be adapted for people who have limited movement and is a way of improving movement ranges. It is an engaging exercise program that promotes a feeling of physical and mental well-being and also develops inner physical awareness.
The exercises strengthen and lengthen the muscles to create ' overall body length' and improve posture.
Pilates is also helpful in preventing and rehabilitating from injuries, improving posture, and increasing flexibility, circulation, and balance.
According to Joseph Pilates, "You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions and have a completely new body in 30 sessions."
Classes held in Andover, Hampshire and also in other venues surrounding Andover. All classes are booked and paid for in term blocks following school half term times. Usually 6-8 weeks.
1-1 sessions and also Ante and Post Natal classes.
Bunny Randall is Level 3 qualified Mat Pilates Teacher and qualified with FITT training board. Part of REPS. Also qualified in Ante and Post natal Level 3.

Having completed one term of Pilates with Bunny I wholeheartedly recommend these classes. Bunny is extremely professional in her approach to instructing - time is taken to induct new members into the class with Bunny carefully tailoring exercises to an individual's needs and abilities.

The atmosphere in class is relaxed and fun, with Bunny giving very clear verbal instructions whilst demonstrating each position. Personal advice and support is given in a sensitive, friendly manner with Bunny skilfully managing her time between each member of the class.
Pilates with Bunny both supplements and supports my martial arts training, I have Definitely felt an improvement in my core strength, which in turn is both aiding the management/ improving the condition of my old sporting injuries.

An outstanding class- I feel like a new person. Bunny is a fantastic instructor. She really knows her stuff and is really clear. Her classes are easy to follow for beginners but if you're more advanced or you've had an injury, she alters the exercise to suit your individual needs. If you need help or you're not quite in the right position, she's really good at spotting it and popping over for a quiet word, so I never feel like I'm the only one getting it wrong!!! There's a really clear progression from week to week, and I have really noticed the benefits after just 4 classes. I leave every session feeling relaxed, refreshed and eager for the next one!
