Best bbq in south Florida, but last time I went they were closed? Does anyone know the reason? Hoping to go back as soon as they open up!
The owner is so kind! I love the food too. Especially the burnt ends! The place has a good vibe.
Our grandson was visiting and begging us for ribs. We decided on pig-sty BBQ because the reviews were really favorable. We were not disappointed. We ordered the $32 combo platter which came with a half rack of ribs which were enormous and meaty. The brisket was tender and delicious and the chicken was also very tasty. We enjoyed the sweet potato, fries and onion rings. My husband really liked the collard greens as well. The owner and counter person were very helpful and friendly. Even though it was in a modest strip mall the inside was comfortable. More...
Best BBQ in Palm Beach, top 5 in Florida. Everything I tried is good. Tons of stuff is great! (Wings, ribs, brisket frito pie, O rings, beans, bannana pudding). Also, just a real local spot with an owner and employees that care. Nothing fancy, but all of its got real heart and soul. More...
I rarely eat pork and only eat beef every now and then but I came to Pig Sty to watch my friends' band play so I ordered collard greens as a snack. You can order small through large sizes. The collard greens have a lot of taste. There is plenty of garlic and ham pieces (which I ate, as the greens are made in batches) to give it a lot of flavor. My only complaint if any is that it was a little too oily for my liking. Pig Sty does offer a vegetarian alternative to dinner in form of jackfruit burger (YES-!jackfruit!) The nice guy behind the counter gave me a sample of it and I found it quite interesting. Bc the fruit itself isn't a very sweet fruit but can be shredded just like pulled pork, it makes sense. Although it's not sweet, it is still a fruit after all, so it won't be as savory and rich as the true pulled pork. I'm not convinced that I will be able to finish an entire sandwich, but I think next time I'll order just to get the full effect. One more thing to mention about Pig Sty is that they have a great stage for bands, lights, full sound system, and all. The sound is great and there's plenty of room for sitting or standing off to the side. I'll be back for sure More...
Had to see what all the hype was about. Now I KNOW! This place is top-notch, made from scratch, home style smoked BBQ. Amazing smoked meats, from scratch sides, and a down home atmosphere. The chef came out to make sure the meal was good and let us know about upcoming events. As a nice addition, this place is military and first responder loving. They do give back fundraisers to help military veterans and their families.A business that will not only make your belly happy, but feels good for the soul! Thanks again! More...
Pretty good confused as to the lack of sweet tea. Has pastrami on Monday which is okay cut a little thick. Got scared when he took the pulled pork out of a bag but it was good. Mac n cheese to me was good but it would be an acquired taste but definitely not bland. Collard greens I'd skip. More...
Great barbecue come on down and check it out
they have the best Brisket in South Florida. They are my definite go to when I want something delicious. I highly recommend the Brisket sandwich and fries!!!
Finally a good bbq place! We love visiting here. The Carolina Pulled Pork and Fried Brussel Sprouts are our favorites. All the sides are delicious, we've tried them all. The staff and owner are super friendly. If you sign up for rewards, they frequently send out discounts for meals. More...
Very good brisket and ribs! Like the heat on the bbq sauce. Coleslaw and beans are delicious! Great service and quick to just grab bbq and go if you need to. Enjoyed the music too. Thanks!
had the rack of ribs and pulled pork sandwich-bith VERY good...as were the onion rings and the homemade ice cream!
DELICIOUS!Definitely the best barbecue I've had in South Florida. First time in the other night and I couldn't be more impressed. Great food, great service (Sydney is delightful, she let us take a complementary piece of butter cake on the way out). I highly recommend it if you're looking for authentic barbecue. Paper towel rolls on the table so you know this place is legit. Great job! More...
The best BBQ I have eaten! The staff are friendly and personable. Highly recommended!
I really like Pig Sty. The atmosphere is nice and you have to check out grandmamas Mac and cheese; it's so delicious! I love bbq and I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Food was fantastic arrived in good time. Ordered the chicken gumbo w/ rice . It spilled a little but not much. Highly recommend it.
Solid BBQ choice in So.FL. Both brisket and pulled pork were good. Fresh cut fries were a nice add on. They were breaking in a new counter girl, who needed more training, but I'll give them a pass on that. Met the owner; super nice dude.

Even kitties like Pigsty!
Great BBQ place. Pulled pork is exceptional and they sides are great. Plenty of specials (fried brussel sprouts-Yum). They have awesome pastrami on Mondays and Fridays at noon but you have to get there at noon because they run out super-quick. Thursday combo special (2 meats/2 sides for $14) is a great bargain. Wow I'm impressed. The gentleman behind the counter took the time to walk me through the menu and the specials. The roadhouse beans are fantastic. The fries and onion rings were cooked to order. It's dingy and dark and perfect. I had pulled pork and brisket combo. My son had turkey and brisket. The brisket was perfectly cooked and fork cut tender. The pulled pork was sublime. I sauced at table so I could try em all. Kansas City hot was my favorite. I'll be back soon I've got to try the sandwiches. More...
Real Kansas City Q from the brisket to the burnt ends to Some of the best made onion rings on the planet, this Championship pitmaster makes deal barbecue that puts Troys and Sweets and The other Southern smokers to shame with magnificent midwestern meats, music, and fun funk adorning the walls. I am great selection of beers, fountain drinks and a lot of homemade desserts eating some killer ice creams, and an ooey gooey cake. On Thursdays and sometimes on the weekend they have live music and a state-of-the-art sound system in this funky looking, Grateful Dead, 60s throwback kind of place. They have "Beat the Clock" specials, down in, Monday to Thursday: A two meat combo dinner with two sides - 4 to 5p pay $10; 5-6 it's $11. 6:00p to 6:30p $11.50.Bbq is like religion. Everyone has their own flavor. He will get a lot of people who like Southern barbecue, who are not going to like this. If your speed is more Midwestern, or Texas, and this place is going to be right up your alley. Don't be a bbq hater. One planet. One cue. Please. More...
Have gone here a number of times. Solid BBQ! Good service. And nice environment to visit for BBQ. definitely worth a visit. I'll keep coming back!
All the food was amazing. Had the brisket, fries, mac n cheese and it was all some of the best I've had. Stumbled upon this place on my way to Ft Lauderdale and will definitely be back!
Have eaten there many times but decided it was time to update my review. Four of us had an early lunch there today. The pulled pork and the sausage were excellent as was the brisket. However, the ribs were unedible and two guests could not consume one bone and neither wanted to take the leftover ribs home. I tried one rib and awful is a kind description - tough and loaded with fat. The sides were wonderful - best fries, baked beans and collard greens anywhere. I would make the trip just for the fries. The sauces are all good. service is fast and friendly but this place is missing a large market. Seniors cannot carry tray down steps alone. If the staff would deliver the food to the tables after customers place their orders at the counter, their business would improve. The floors are uneven and hard to navigate with nothing in one's hands much less a tray full of food. Go for everything but the ribs - yuck! Everything else is delicious and well prepared. This is a no frills kitschy casual place but the food is excellent..all but the fatty tasteless meatless ribs. Baby back are our favorite but there were just fatty spareribs. Avoid them andyou will like/love almost everything else! More...
The food was unbelievably excellent!!! The atmosphere was great and the service was awesome! I highly recommend this restaurant for great bbq!!
Food truck is awesome
The BBQ is the best around, bar non. The Brisket, Ribs, pork you name it, it’s delish. A must stop for all meat lovers.
Great Kansas City Style BBQ!!! Brisket tender and tasty.... Home Made Sausage Excellent... Fresh Cut Fries.... Good Collards.... Preferred the House Sauce (less sweet) but the Kansas City Style Sauces were Good too...Excellent Value for the money...Friendly Service....Good Atmosphere....DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED More...
Phenomenal food at phenomenal price. Left full and didn't eat the rest of the day. Homemade goodness!!! The staff and owner are so friendly.

This BQQ is the best in South Florida that I’ve had. That says a lot because I’m very particular about my BBQ. ESPECIALLY....brisket. Soo tender and tasty with a great smoked flavor!! The ribs are good too. Oh, and the onion rings were bomb More...
Lived in KC for eight years. This is the real deal. Smoky, meaty and the sauces are superb. The Chicken Gumbo is amazing. You can taste the smoke in the chunks of chicken. Real Kansas City Q.

This is the best barbecue place we have found in this area! It is almost a fast food restaurant. The portions are large. My husband loved the half rack of ribs with beans. I had Big Al's Frito Pie, an interesting concoction of pulled pork and several other things. Warning, it is huge. I took half home. The cornbread is really corn cake and too sweet for my taste. Not Southern style, but my husband loved it. We are definitely going back! This review is for the Boynton Beach location. More...

Good meats, some sides good. nice staff
Pretty good BBQ here. I liked the brisket a lot. The Kansas City style hot sauce was my favorite of the three sauces on each table. The cole slaw was decent too. This place was nothing too too special, but I would go back if it was on my way to someplace again as it was this time. More...

Great moist and tender ribs and pulled pork.
Best BBQ in Palm Beach county! Their Kansas City mild sauce is the best BBQ sauce I've ever had. It's even better than I remember from when I lived in KC. And the brisket is to die for.
Audrey And Kevin B.
Pigsty BBQ in Boynton Beach is serving up some of the best BBQ in Palm Beach County. We were lucky enough to try quite a few good eats here but one of our favorites was The Jakl.
Hands down best bbq I've received from a restaurant in Florida. Mac and cheese is delicious, brisket falls apart, FRENCH FRIES ARE TOO GOOD.
A M A Z I N G BBQ - I even bought the shirt! From Austin to Pennsylvania and anywhere in between, this is by far the best bbq I’ve seen!!
fun decor great bbq food!
Kids play area. Lots of seating. Everything homemade except the cornbread. Everything. Sooo good. Stage for live music. Def coming back!
You know, this is an instance where I find the Yelp review to be a little off. I frequently base my dining choice decisions on the Yelp stars and reviews. Please accept that I consider myself a BBQ snob. I personally believe that I am an accomplished pit-master myself and make it a point to sample BBQ nearly everywhere I find it. So, I in my own mind I know BBQ. There are many styles of food preparation that fall within the sphere of the name "BBQ". What folks in Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, or Tennessee consider BBQ are quit different from one another. And very distinctively from one another in preparation methods and flavor profiles. Hot and fast verses low and slow, vinegar verses sweet, dry verses mopped, and so on. So, let's begin with the facts, Pig-Sty BBQ is Kansas City Style served cafeteria style. When a reviewer rates poorly and complains about the sweet sauce choices or cafeteria style service...that just seems ignorant. My son...also a self professed BBQ snob, recommended Pig-Sty and I went without even checking the Yelp site. My take is that these two guys cook excellent KC style BBQ. Their Pastrami is at the top the of the list. I only wish they would cook more of it, all to often they have sold out before I have a chance to get there. The burnt ends (a KC staple in that BBQ style) are tender and juicy. I have tried every protein from this pit and all of them are perfectly prepared and seasoned. I can only complain about one of the sides...and I chalk that up to these guys are from KC what could they possibly know about collard greens. So, when a friend complained about my suggestion to dine at Pig-Sty because their Yelp rating was mediocre I looked at it and said WTH (What The Heck). I am a regular customer and glad that I didn't make my decision to try Pig-Sty based upon its Yelp ratings...I would likely have missed out on the best KC style BBQ joints in our area. More...
The absolute best BBQ place around! Elliot is amazing and the place is very fun! Don't judge a book by its cover. Trust that the food is worth it and the kitchen is spotless!

Great food, good prices, fun atmosphere, staff that takes pride in their work. Burnt ends are excellent when you can get them, but the ribs and pulled pork are also worth it. Roadhouse beans are sweet, spicy, and full of meat. More...
Pigsty BBQ is a casual -comfy place to enjoy very good SMOKED BBQ. Prices are very reasonable and the food is great. They also have live music playing and you can hang out and have drinks as well. Definitely would go back again.

This place is fabulous and I just encourage anybody looking for barbecue or anything smoked,, this is the place!!PIGSTY has the best smoked barbecue I have ever tasted,And I have been everywhere and tasted a lot of barbecue but besides the food, the atmosphere is fabulous as well!!!
thank you to all the staff at the Pigsty! Your food is always amazing but the kindness all of you showed today after this darn hurricane cannot go unmentioned! The absolute BEST BBQ in Palm Beach County. I’ve been to Texas, the Carolinas, Kentucky and Tennessee. Nothing compares to our favorite BBQ Pig-Sty!
The pulled pork was incredible. Their sides are something special. The mac and cheese is creamy with streaks of melted cheddar throughout. The baked beans are fantastic with two types of beans and large chunks of pulled pork in it. The French fries are hand-cut, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, no need for ketchup! You can't do better! My other half and I went in for a late lunch and were so impressed! Everything was clean and the setting was perfect! We spent around $30.00 for both of our meals, which was better than reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Service was great, and even the owner was present, with a greeting! To top it off, everything is mouth watering, even after the fact. Honestly, I came to the page now to see if one of the many band events were happening tonight, as the venue is perfect to please and serve all crowds. Thank you for being a local gem! See ya soon! Chef Bryan and his crew at Pigsty are the best in South Florida at BBQ, atmosphere, and CATERING! Chef Bryan single handedly catered my entire wedding of 60 ppl from tons of amazing tasty apps, entrees and even went out of his way to make tailor-made desserts and the wedding cake of our choice!! They don’t even do desserts like this but Chef was so innovative, resourceful and flexible he worked with me on price until it fit my budget perfectly. Truly five star service, communication, quality, and the hottest and most unique new option for Wedding catering. Guests literally still are talking about how great the food was, and I’m still eating leftover desserts two months later because he made so much that we got

Food was great. First time there for lunch. I would have to say, don’t bother if you want dinner. They close whenever they feel like. Loved the food so much we grabbed our neighbors the next night (Thursday) and headed over. Sign said open till 10pm. Got there at 9:10 and the door was locked. Got a recommendation for this place from a friend and decided to stop in when I was in West Palm Beach. Luckily it was a Friday and the service Stromae on Mondays and Fridays here. From the minute I walked in here I was in love. The manager was on duty and personally attended to me and I felt like I was in his home. He answered all my questions about the different meats and gave me a double pastrami combo plates with coleslaw and greens. It's not easy to make a good pastrami and even harder to make a great pastrami. This pastrami was great. The right amount of seasonings, moist, and a slight Smoky flavor. The place is not cheap at $14 for combo plate but portion was extremely generous. I happened to meet the chef while I was there and he took extreme pride in his work. The place is basically a hole in the wall, however, this is some of the best pastrami have eaten in South Florida. The greens were very good as well and the coleslaw was ordinary. If you're up allowed you to give a half star I would've given this place 4 1/2 stars. Between the Decour, service, and quality of food this place is great. Highly recommended.Edit: I read some of the other reviews on this place and disagree with any of the one and two star reviews of this place. More...
best food ever, the staff was awesome ! real smoked food

Staff was pleasant and greeted us. We were the only customers (6pm Friday). Did half a stab, potato salad, and fries. I usually rate a place by the potato salad (I'm strange). It wasn't too sweet and had slow burn to it. About 9/10 if you like it that way. BBQ was delicious for me but I'm no expert. I will definitely come back for the brisket sandwich. Go here if you like: BBQ, hole-in-the-wall, greatful dead, star wars. More...
If you like BBQ, casual and on the small/dark side this place is great. It's an order at the counter and find a table place. The brisket and ribs are fantastic with a few sauce options. A few southern sides leave me collard greens, cole slaw and potatoes give it the hearty meal. Corn bread is great, but coleslaw is the vinegar type, though fresh. They've got a friendly owner and some great band music with southern and soft rock plus Grateful Dead music. It can be loud but has a solid variety of clientele. More...

I didn't believe my coworker when he said this is one of the best barbeque places in the area but then I ate it. After the first meal I was dreaming about the next time I would eat Pigsty's food. Brought my stepdaughter in to try their BBQ and was not disappointed! She was visiting from Canada and wanted try some authentic AMERICAN BBQ so we had dinner to go. The Burnt Ends were available when we went so I got that along with Mac n cheese, butter cake, and coleslaw. The burnt ends had a sauce with it so it wasn't dry, very tasty! The Mac and cheese was ok as well as the coleslaw nothing special. However I adore their butter cake! You get a very small piece though. I assume because of the richness of it. It is like eating sweet butter and condensed milk with a crunchy sweet topping! The staff serving the food were helpful and nice! The decor gives it a cool vibe! They sell BBQ sauce in house as well! I would recommend trying it out for sure! More...
It takes a little gettin' used to the cafeteria style ordering, but once you get passed that, its all good from there. The chicken, Brisket and Ribs were all so tasty and tender. Did not expect this little "hole in the wall" after seeing the ads for this place. The Barbecue flopped over both sides of the roll, lots of sauces to choose from and quite tasty. Tasted that pork all day long!
The Chili was wonderful, just the right heat. And someone got the mix for the lemonade good too.
Ya gotta watch your step, the floors are very uneven and difficult for a walker or a cane. And you have to look for utensils.
The folks are great and I'm looking forward to their music on Thursdays. More...

Best BBQ in the South...
I have been here a couple times and every time it has been amazing. The brisket is on point and so is the corn bread. A diamond in the rough!I was apprehensive to try this place, because the location is pretty sketchy, but I'm so glad I did! It has a very small town feel, which is hard to come by in south Florida. You are either going to love it or your not. Its not for everyone and I think that is why I love it. The atmosphsere is a laid back and no BS as it gets. Cool movie posters and quotes all over. Nothing fancy, nothing special just good BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere. Place your order at the counter, pay and grab your utensils on the way to your table. Rustic wooden planked walls with various forms of art. A small children's play area to keep the kids occupied. Food is served on a piece parchment paper on a cafeteria tray. I had a 1/2 Lb of Brisket with a side of mac & cheese. The meat melted in your mouth. Very tender heavy BBQ flavor. House BBQ sauce on the table makes it pop. The sauce has a little bite. My Love had to half rack of ribs, hand rubbed Kansas City Style. Not par boiled, nice flavor and themeat fell off the bone. The ribs were ordered with a side of mac & cheese and collard greens. I don't really care for collard greens but these were good. Chopped up meat (perhaps ham) was in the greens. Good homestyle cooking. I was told about Pigsty for the first time a few days ago. It sounded interesting, as a great barbeque place and a cool music venue. I had an errand to run in East Boynton, so I stopped in. I was alone so no overordering. I had the barbecued brisket sandwich and a side of collard greens. The brisket was tender and delicious. Full of flavor and not over powered by smoke. There were three squeeze bottles of sauce on the table. One labeled Kansas City mild, one Kansas City hot and I couldn't make out what the third one was. All were very tasty and I found myself squeezing a dollop of each on the paper that everything was served on in the metal tray. I kept alternately dipping the sandwich into each sauce -- not that it was necessary, as the brisket, the way it was cooked and served, needed nothing else, but all were great compliments to a perfectly served sandwich. The mystery sauce seemed to have a more pronounced fruit component, but I am not sure and will definitely find out what it is when I return. The collard greens, which I usually like at most good barbeque spots, were a pleasant surprise. These had great flavor, were not over cooked to the point of becoming mushy, and had some nice, lean pieces of pork, and none of that bitter bite that is common in greens. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was very casual and rustic.A return visit is in the very near future! More...
My new favorite place to listen The Dead and eat BBQ
I was buying cigars and I heard a guy talking about BBQ. I asked what place he was talking about and he told me Pig Sty on Boynton Beach Blvd. Made date with my wife to check it out. In the meantime I was out on a ride on my new bike and since I was hungry I stopped in. I ordered the Big Pig sandwich. Pulled pork, smoked sausage and bacon. Awesome! Excellent BBQ, the real deal. Real smoked & meaty fat free St. Louis style ribs, dry rub style with good homemade sauces on the side. Brisket was very good too. Baked beans were excellent with lots of meat, and thankfully not too sweet. More of a tangy, smokey slightly spicy flavor. Good creamy coleslaw. Definitely going back on a Tuesday or Saturday to try the burnt end brisket. (and the pulled pork) Has a true blue BBQ joint vibe that most of the authentic places have. Not a table service chain but a down home, order at the counter treat. Friendly helpful counter service too. The two of us couldn't even finish our shared order of 6 ribs, 1 brisket sandwich and 2 sides. You can't see the place from the road, it's more or less behind the 7-11 store in a strip center. Best Pulled Carolina Pork. Staff could not have been nicer. Good atmosphere
I went there one Tuesday evening after I finished my fitness class with four others. I asked one of the owners if they par boiled their ribs, because I do't like ribs that are. He said no and that they smoke their ribs. It reminded me of a picnic setting, very down home. We were there for a couple of hours just enjoying each other and the very quaint place. The owners were very inviting. I would go back again; just to point out it is pretty pricey but the food is very good. More...
This place was AMAZZZZINNGG! I can't believe it's taken us this long to try it, but Pigsty is by far the best BBQ we've had in south Florida! We came in for lunch and ordered the brisket sandwich, the pit masters choice (brisket & pulled pork sandwich), a side of mac n cheese, and a small chicken gumbo. The staff was super friendly, and the owner came by to see how our food was while we were eating (and brought us a sample of donuts too!) which I thought was very personable. If i could give this place more than 5 stars I would. They also have some awesome bands playing throughout the week. We will be back very soon! More...
We liked the decor. And the BBQ held up well to my NC BBQ roots.
True Kansas Barbecue! After living in Kansas for two years we have been searching for a real barbecue joint in south Florida. So many have bland food and boring ambiance. This place is the polar opposite! Delicious meats, amazing saucing, and a real porkhouse feel inside. The owner went above and beyond making a barbecue joint that was a labor of love and it shows. We are delighted to have found this place. Order the pit boss special if they have it! You won't be disappointed. More...
I'll have to admit when my husband and I first pulled up to Pigsty we were hesitant. The outside certainly doesn't represent what awaits inside. After doing a double check on yelp we headed on in.For starters we were warmly welcomed by the staff as soon as we entered, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Order placing is done at the counter and then delivered to your table. As for the food all I can say is wow! Everything was awesome. Sandwiches were stacked with tender brisket and juicy sausage. The baked beans were some of the best I have ever tasted and the Mac n cheese was smooth and creamy. The dinning room is covered with flat screens making it a great spot to grab a beer and watch Sunday football. There is even a kids play area to keep them busy while the adults can relax.Definitely make Pigsty my new Sunday spot! More...
Gooder than hellDefinitely check this place outSuper good staff and amazing foodTry their sauces because they're absolutely incredible!I would definitely come back here for anytime I want bbq More...
I tried this place for the first time (with the thumbs up from yelp), and I love it! I had a brisket sandwich (jackl), the meat was soft and tender. The bbq sauce on the side was perfectly thick and flavorful. Grandma's Mac & Cheese, well my grandma never made Mac & Cheese so good. The star of the show was the gooey butter cake. Holy heck!!!!!! It's freakin awesome! I wish I got there in time to order some burnt tips. More...
The best smoked Pastrami ever!!! Hands down, no competition. Everthing is dekicious and the atmosphere is great!
We tried Pigsty after reading the great reviews! It was very good. My husband got take out and we had burnt ends, pulled pork, sliced brisket, mac n cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. This was the first time I've ever tried burnt ends and I'm a big fan. They were perfectly seasoned chunks which were crispy on the outside but oh, so tender on the inside! The pulled pork and brisket were just a touch on the dry side, but also very well seasoned. The mac n cheese was off the chain! So creamy and seasoned and then covered in crunchy cheesy topping - this alone is worth the trip! The collards were a little average, but for collard lovers, that will be fine. The cornbread is sweet and moist and I ate it as dessert. They serve it with cinnamon butter which may as well be called frosting! We will definitely return and bring friends (and definitely go back on burnt ends day!!!). Well done, Pigsty! More...
I was amazed when I walk inside this place. Was not sure of the quality based on the location. What a present surprise that I gave it a tried. Can't wait to try their food, I am ordering Togo More...
Good cheap casual. I love coming to eat at this place, It gets crowded on weekends and sometimes the staff is not the smartest, but the food is great.
This place was a pleasant surprise for me! I used to shop BBQ with Smoke before they shut down but it was "Too inconvenient" for #DeliveryDudes to deliver from Smoke because we were "on the border" of their delivery zone. So I searched BBQ in Boynton and stumbled across #PigStyBBQ. Tried it, and now spend $100+ everytime I come in just because the product is THAT GOOD! Thier meats and sides are ALL made from scratch by professionals that have been doing it for years. I highly recommend to anybody who enjoys #GreatBBQ More...
Best BBQ in town. They are hidden in a little plaza, but man they are worth finding. Delicious!
Biljana Mali G.
The Best BBQ place in area! Everything tasts amazing, burnt ends are my favorite! Kid friendly place loaded with games and cool art work.
Being from KC, this is the best KC style BBQ in SoFla. They even have Burnt Ends on Saturdays. If you're a serious fan of smoked meat and awesome bbq sauce definitely give this place a go. They've filled a void in my soul haha More...
We originally came to see our friends son play in the band but decided to make a night of it and have dinner. The parking was pretty easy and a standard parking lot. It was easy to get in and out of the plaza. There were a few waiters and waitresses walking around but they weren't really there to provide you with service. You walk up an order and then wait for your food at the counter and bring it to your own table. The macaroni and cheese was delicious as well as the barbecue chicken. My son ate his entire pulled pork sandwich. I didn't have the coleslaw but my friend did and she said it was tasty. Because there was a band playing it was a bit loud but that's to be expected. There's a cool area for kids to play back in the corner where they have all kinds of neat stuff. It was great because we were able to sit there and enjoy the music while the kids played. We will most definitely return. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars because the bathroom was dirty and it was no toilet paper. More...
Even though I'm not a big fan of smoked food, the food is pretty good. I get the concept but wish they had plates to eat on instead of paper towels. Good for a quick bite to eat. I had their pulled pork sandwich with bbq sauce and coke slaw. Was good. Not sure I'd rush back there though. More...
Beyond exceptional!!! Homemade everything, from food to ice cream!
We are thrilled to have really good BBQ in our Neighborhood. Don't let the rustic exterior fool you It's wonderful inside here! Elliott is a terrific Host The menu options are Wonderful. We tried 2 different Entrees and enjoyed them and the Sides. We will Return More...
The food is delicious hands down!! Best in town...
I can't say enough about how ORGASMIC their pulled pork and mac-n-cheese is. I went there today for my "pre-birthday" dinner and will be coming back tomorrow for my actual birthday dinner! Absolute BBQ perfection!
Came through in the clutch after the hurricane and must have fed just about half of Palm Beach county today. Delicious and so appreciated.
The only thing is why are they in the delivery section if they don't deliver because I would order from them every other day
Best BBQ ever! Owner is kind and friendly! Music is great..... damn not I wanna go back for dinner tonight...
This place is fairly new I believe and I have to say that I was generally impressed with the quality of the 'que here. The star of the show was the big pig. Generous portion of above average pulled pork, sausage, and bacon on a bun. I put pickles on this beast and mixed the spicy sauce and the vinegar sauce. I was a very, very tasty sandwich that I would definitely recommend trying. I tried the ribs and they were pretty good. The brisket was a little thin sliced for my tastes. I feel like when you slice it that thin, it dries things out a bit. The Mac and cheese was very good. The potato salad was just ok for me. The gooey butter cake was spot on perfect. Delicious. Get it. Service was friendly and prices were decent. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to diversify the sauce options. Specifically, I wish this place had a mustard based sauce as that is my preference. All in all though, a nice little spot and we'd happily return. More...
Outstanding BBQ! The Brisket was soo good as well as the sausage. And don't forget the mac-n-cheese! Very nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly folks. Will definitely be going back!
Pig-Sty BBQ features outstanding pork ribs. They are moist & smoky. I recommend the vinegary Carolina sauce for the ribs. I didn't try the side dishes or desserts but they look excellent. They also have decent selection of tap beers. The walls have a lot of movie quotes and images. BBQ & movies, after all, are two great American originals. I recommend this FLA BBQ place. The counter service, however, can be particularly slow on Sundays. More...
Love this place. The pastrami is better than anything I've had down here. And it's such cool place to hang. If you haven't been you need to get there
We have now been there twice and the food has been delicious. I had the pulled pork (Carolina style). Pork was tender, with great flavor. My boyfriend had the brisket which he said was fantastic. The sides were also very good. Not to mention the have Stella on tap! I am so happy a great barbecue place has finally opened in Palm Beach County! More...
It was my first time there. Just tried the brisket sandwich. The sauce and beef was amazing. Can't wait to go back :-)
Been here a few times now and have yet to be disappointed. Everything is delicious.
You would not be able to find this place while driving unless you knew where to pull in. I went there for lunch with a friend who said another person told him he must go.Since it was my first time I was little confused. There is a hostess stand but no hostess. It is cafeteria style, which I liked for a change. The guys were very informative and very patient with me because they had so many delish choices. I ordered a brisket sand (so tender, not like other places I've been :)) and of course Mac n cheese. My friend got pulled pork which looked so good but he had finished it by the time I got my water. All though you grab your on silverware and plates, there was a gentleman that checked on us to see if we needed another plate or anything else. PS: do NOT leave without the butter cake! Keep it in their freezer until your ready for that amazingness in your mouth! Will be going back again. Also, if you have time look at the decor. Funny quotes from classic movies. More...

Very Fun & Cute Atmosphere. Great Food! Great Band! But Very Very Hot Inside!!! A/C Broke ;(( Give It A Try Though!:)
Food, atmosphere, and music was awesome! They even have a kids area to keep them happy too!!
The food was excellent! The ambiance was great, the owner came over to us more than once with desert for our son, for free. Then, the live band topped off the night, the music was great! I am definitely planning on going back and bringing back my family and friends and recommending Pig Sty to everyone. More...
Ok so we finally made it to Pigsty!!!Is this the best BBQ in the world? No. Is it the best BBQ in Boynton? Damn right skippy! They have all kinds of sandwiches and sides, however we were not here to play games. We wanted BBQ! We ordered a slab of pork ribs, 1lb of brisket, collard greens and corn bread. These are my go to items when assessing the quality of a BBQ place.First of all the brisket. This is where a lot of places fail miserably. They give you some chopped up meat in a container covered in BBQ sauce and call it brisket. Not at Pigsty! This is the real deal. Very good flavor on the meat, smokey, fatty and delicious. Next the ribs. Ribs are a bit more tricky. Any place can make "decent" ribs by covering them in BBQ sauce and putting them on the grill for a few min. However the real test is how do they taste without any sauce? The ribs at Pigsty were delicious as is. Very smokey with a nice crust on them and the perfect texture. Their BBQ sauce is also pretty good if you want to use it. The mild sauce is not spicy at all so, based on other reviews, they may have fixed that.Collard greens and cornbread were also on point. They were also kind enough to bring us some of their mini donuts to try. Honestly... I wish they hadn't. Now I will have to order them every time!! Sooo good!!The place itself is a bit small but there weren't many people there when we went and the line wasn't too bad to order. The live band was a bit too loud for the space so you couldn't really talk to anyone at the table, however after a bit they were asked to lower it a bit and they did, still a little on the loud side though.Yes the meat is prepared and wrapped to help keep it moist. If it was all straight out of the smoker every time it would be a 5 star, however that may simply not be practical based on their traffic and how long it takes to make good BBQ like this. All that being said this will be our go to BBQ spot for the foreseeable future. More...
Very, very good pulled pork sandwich. Reminded me of an authentic place in Alabama.
Excellent comfort food here! A friendly and helpful staff, and a really good sound system for bands make this a 5 star joint!
Can't believe I never came in here. Great food Mario showed me the right way to order. Full off just sides, but man hit the spot! Will be back earlier for brisket!
Mario and Kevin are such a great people! They provided samples of the amazing food, and the hospitality of this place is just great. Definitely recommend this place, 10/10! More...
How could I have missed this place for its first 8 months here?!?! This is the real deal! Stopped by for the first time to grab takeout and was bummed I couldn't stay and take in the evening there. Brought back a colleague for lunch (today) I knew was a bbq junkie and he raved about it. Food is exceptional, atmosphere is just perfect for bbq. Meat is all equally good and their sides are delicious, varied, and true to the food type. The night I came for takeout, the hipster was just starting to pull out the big bass, dunno what his equally genuine buddy was toting. It's hard to think how they could improve... maybe the pickles? That's pretty picky, but pickles like PA BBQ or Wiggles from Publix would be an upgrade. Otherwise perfect! Only 4 hours since lunch there and I can't wait to go back! More...
Always great. Had the ribs last night and they were awesome. Also had the onion rings, which I order every time and as always they were fantastic. Nothing but good things from the Pigsty... More...
What can I say?!? This place is awesome! This was our first time here. We went to go watch our friends band play at Pigsty yesterday and ate dinner there! The food is great! It is a hole in the wall that people need to know about! I'm going to write to food network diners driveins and dives! We had the ribs and big pig sandwich and the mac and cheese coleslaw and beans! Everything is homemade! The owners are out and about saying hi to everyone. We will be back for sure! More...
Half slab of ribs was amazing! Very meaty! Tops other BBQ places I've been to in Delray and Boca! Pleasant staff.
The fresh sliced pastrami sandwich (only available on Monday & Friday) is fantastic. The home made mac n cheese is awesome!
Glad we found out where the pit master went from another restaurant. Ate there again and the BBQ was mediocre. Came here and the food was incredible. Tried four meats and four sides and everything was excellent. More...

Excellent food! Loved the live music, too. Can't wait to go back!
Wow! Friendly and tasty new place. We got a sampler type plate and shared. We got fries and onion rings too. Very yummy. There is this crazy butter dessert that is sinful. I forget the name but it's the house specialty. sooooooo good! More...
Excellent service and food today! Portions were very large. We had the pastrami, the brisket, and the pulled pork, along with mac-n-cheese, fries and coleslaw. Each of the sides we had ordered were good, but the BBQ was excellent. The pastrami was very flavorful (normally would not have been my choice, but it was so delicious), the brisket was probably the best I have ever had and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Pricing was average, and I believe we got more than we could have possibly eaten (along with a to go bag with the leftovers - Midnight snack for me!) More...
Love this place - sadly they are not open until 10 on a Thursday. Please update your hours bc now I have to go eat KFC instead
First time eating here and oh man! Hiiiiighly recommend! I am from Oklahoma and crave a good BBQ and we have found it...best in South Florida if you ask me! PLEASE stay in business forever! More...
Four stars, definitely. And oh-so-close to five, but there were a few demerits.I'll start with the amazing... the food. The brisket was fan-freakin'-tastic, everything I have missed about good BBQ since KC. It was smoky and tender and crusty. And their hot BBQ sauce has a really nice kick to it while still being a little sweet. The baked beans were definitely a sibling of OK Joe's with a little extra jalapeno. And we got a piece of gooey butter cake that was *SO* good. Five stars for the food, for sure.I had a few issues with the experience though, which cost most of a star...The food ordering occurs just like it would at almost every BBQ restaurant in Kansas City, which is super easy, super quick when everyone knows how the routine works. You get in line at the door, order cafeteria style, pay, and then find a seat. When someone in front slows the process down, it falls apart pretty quickly. And the staff didn't quite seem to know what to do with the lady holding the line up asking questions about all the menu items and catering options and ingredients while the line backed out the door.We finally got to the counter, ordered a couple of Jakls (their version of OK Joe's Z-Man) and a medium side of baked beans. However, our request got lost in the handoff and we ended up with plain brisket sandwiches (which we didn't notice until we sat down...).Finding a seat was a challenge. The dining room is awkwardly arranged with lots of big booths and folks who were holding tables for people not yet there. We ended up sitting next to the stage where some musicians were setting up, but getting there required interrupting several people's meals to squeeze by. Worth noting- there are a few tables outside. The food was definitely worth it though. By far the best brisket I have had in SoFL. Totally worth a half hour drive from Broward for that alone. We'll be back, though we may try to avoid the early weekend dinner crowd next time...TL;DR-- Food = 5Customer service = 3Dining room layout = 2Other patrons' BBQ etiquette = 2 More...
Best brisket in SoFLa! Love the manly decor. Also, the homemade ice cream is amazing.
This place is the best. Great food, great peeps. And on the weekend.... Great music. A must do in Boynton Beach!
I was a little nervous trying a new restaurant on Father's Day with my pops... This place is truly a hidden gem nestled in the craziness of South Florida. Being a native of Texas, I'm particular when it comes to my BBQ, and Pig-Sty passed the test. Great food, sauce, appropriate portions, nice music and decorations. I was almost swayed by a negative review from a few hours ago, but they were way off base, this is an authentic BBQ joint. The employees were patient and friendly to us. More...
Spent a great Fathers Day. Great food, good music playing, nice employees, & cool decor.
Burnt ends done right, only available twice a week so check if that's what you're after. Pulled pork on point as well. Ala cart menu with above average pricing but very good BBQ.Local craft brews are a bonus as well.I'll be back. More...

The nicest people ever! It was our first time there and they were so helpful to us in navigating the menu! The brisket was exceptionally delicious, flavorful and tender as butter. Good food good price and awesome kid area !!! The outside doesn't match the inside so don't let it fool you
Brisket sandwich, fries, and a PBR tall-boy... yum! The exterior is fairly unassuming but the interior is fun and eclectic. I'll certainly return when the burnt ends are available. More...

Little hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy. But great food. Gotta try their BBQ ribs and brisket sandwich. Definitely will be back soon.

Best BBQ in Palm Beach County! We'll be back soon, and we'll bring friends!
I saw the Pigsty on the news and the history of the owner and his background with a world famous BBQ place in Kansas. I went the same day and the food was awesome. The smoked wings are incredible and the owner was there behind the counter. Great place. More...
Staff very accommodating ....From outside it is deceiving and it's hidden away in a small strip mall..all food is made in house. Fries and onion rings are cut and fried to order and not greasy. Portion size was generous. Our group tried various meats pulled pork was very good, ribs were excellent and beef brisket was amazing. We all liked different sauces so you can get everything without sauce and choose your sauce at the table. Coleslaw was one of the best we have had.Only downfalls baked beans not a favorite of the group and the meat choices were limited but that may be why what they do make is so good.Overall we really enjoyed and we will be going back. This is the best bbq I ever had in Florida. All the food is delicious. The place is fun with lots of movie posters and funny signs and a stage for live music. Service is usually good. I just wish they would bring the food to the table when it's done instead of making you wait up front for it, slowing everything to a crawl. More...
First time I ate here it was late at night and I didn't really think it was that great. But I tried it again and my second visit was much better. The fries were once again "great" and my brisket was perfect. The only thing I would recommend is having some type of Vinegar based sauce. I get tired of the same old sweet or hot sauces. More...
Ok...if you didn't know this place was here you would drive right by the little strip it's in. Less than two blocks (on the left) off of Boynton Beach Boulevard THIS place is REAL!!!Upon entering we were pleasantly greeted by people behind a glass counter where you place your good order. As our eyes adjusted from the bright sun we told the smiling servers it was our first visit. We were given a wonderful walk through of their offerings and even offered a taste to help with our decision. We decided on The Jackel and The Carolina sandwiches. Sides of loaded potato salad and collard greens were some of the best I've tasted. As my husband described, very pure flavors. Quality definitely comes through. Burnt ends (not always available) and really old fashioned French fries rounded up a most satisfying lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I would have stayed to keep listening to the great music but then we would have kept eating. Cannot wait to return for a rack of ribs and homemade desserts (AND homemade ice creams). REALLY good food at an appropriate price!!!!!! Also very good beer selection. More...

Best beef rib ever. Seriously. This is a must-go if you're in town.
This place is the real deal, great smokehouse BBQ. Had the burnt ends ( Tues night special) and side of loaded potato salad. Both were delicious, and generous portions. Friendly helpful staff, this was a first visit, won't be the last. More...

At first glance you may not be impressed, we were a little skeptical by the curb appeal and dark entranceway before you get to the counter to order.. but after getting situated and tasting the delicious food, we agreed we will definitely be back with friends. I have been in the BBQ business for over 35 years. It is about time a great traditional BBQ "Joint" located here. We had the pulled pork sandwich-"Carolina style", the JAKL, smoked Brisket topped with provolone cheese and a large onion ring, and a side of Mac-n-Cheese. Finished wit a single serving of Sweet Potato Pie.Each showed the love and care of a world class Pit Master. Sauces blended to accent the flavors, not overpower. The décor is a blend of BBQ and Blues, Family and kid friendly. No formula food here. No BBQ straight from the convection ovens. This is the REAL DEAL that will warm your soul and tummy. They were out of Burnt Ends so we will be returning soon.I suggest you check their website for music update and specials. More...
The food here is excellent! Cafeteria style BBQ. I had the Big Pig: pulled pork, bacon and sausage sandwich. Amazing! I also had the cole slaw and some wings which were great. I hear that there are lines down the street for their specialty which is only available twice a week and they sell out within an hour of opening. I recently took a crew of 12 guys there and everybody loved it. Highly recommend! More...
BEST BBQ FOOD I'VE EVER HAD IN SOUTH FLORIDA!! Words won't do this place justice. Pulled pork was seasoned to perfection. Don't even get me started on the Mac n Cheese!! Seriously great barbeque. I just moved here from Kansas City a year ago -- world BBQ headquarters so I am well-qualified to comment. Judging from the outside, I was skeptical, but fear not! Once you get inside, you will see the place has great ambience, cool decor, and really nice employees. I had the Jackal sandwich and home-cut fries. The brisket was tender and well-smoked, topped with provolone and onion rings. I was full after half the sandwich but it was so good I couldn't stop myself and consumed the whole thing. The fries were indeed fresh and home-cut -- not frozen and you can tell the difference. The sauces were top-notch, like they have sampled all the great bbq sauces in KC and imported or cloned the best of the best. To top it all off, they have my favorite beer of all time on tap -- Tank 7 from Boulevard Brewery in KC. Nice touch, fellas!I don't understand the negative reviews, except that you just can't please everyone. Sure, it is not the greatest part of town. Yes, you have to carry your own food to your table. BBQ places often include an "adventure factor" which makes them all the more authentic and this one does not dissapoint.Verified happy customer, returning soon!(just for the recorrd -- I am not employed by them or related in any way) More...
Oink oink. The rainy weather got us craving BBQ and we ordered a takeout from here today. I could have went in and got it from behind the counter, but I didn't realize that until I got there. There is plenty of seating inside and they even have a play area for the kids. The staff was super friendly and professional with handling the order. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and juicy. I got it with a side of Grandma's mac and cheese. Unfortunately, it wasn't that good. It wasn't as fresh and the panko bread topping was dried up a little too much for my palate. The brisket sandwich and onion rings my husband had was great. My son ended getting a free kids meal since it was Sunday and he had a huge turkey sandwich. They don't joke on the mini portion for the kids meals. The sides are huge enough for sharing. There is specials every day of the week and they got music playing in the background if there isn't a band playing on stage. They even have breakfast sandwiches to grab and go on a cart before they open up daily to the public. I'm not sure how that's set up, but I'm guessing it's working since it's on the menu. It's definitely worth checking out again and trying other items. I might go for the cinnamon sugar doughnuts with cream cheese glaze next time. *drools* More...
Great food and atmosphere. This guy knows how to 'QUE. I had brisket and a HUGE beef rib. The beef rib was a little under done, but when smoking such huge pieces - (I am a pit master of a competition bbq team) sometimes that happens. The owner made good with a better rib. HIGHLY RECOMMEND More...

I was in a lunch time rut, you know the one...you tend to go to the same few places for lunch over and over again...anyway, I digress. I wanted something good, really good and I was super hungry. What to do? I looked on Yelp and voila - a new BBQ place to try.Seeing the West Boynton Beach address I guessed it it would be in West Boynton...nope! It's east, right off 95, just west of the exit. It is in an easy to miss little plaza behind a 7-11. I was encouraged by the plethora of cars in the parking including several PBSO vehicles. Beat cops know good food so I saw it as another good sign.Inside the door, it has a saloon type of feel. Ordering to the left, eating to the right. Choices galore...brisket, ribs, NC barbecue or traditional smoked pork. I opted for the latter. Bingo! Quite literally heaven on a bun. Not just any bun, a super soft Martin's potato roll. The portion was big and piled high. The have a few different sauces of varying temperatures, I gave the hot one a try. Double Bingo! The meat was lean, smokey and cooked to perfection. Nirvana on a bun. I repeat, Nirvana on a bun! They have the usual sides but I chose Grandma's mac and cheese as my side. Served hot with a nice baked cheese and panko bread crumb topping...my only regret was that I ordered a small one.The ambiance is rustic, an old west kinda feel. A little hokey but they do have an area for a band and they feature live music a few nights a week. They have a selection of beers, soft drinks and bottled waters. They have a special every day of the week. Don't judge a book by its' cover. I would have driven right on past if I hadn't seen favorable reviews. My lunch time doldrums and hunger...a thing of the past. Pigsty has earned a spot in my weekly rotation. More...

I'm from KC and this is the real deal. The smoke, the sauce, the music, the attitude.
Loved this place! The mac and cheese was amazing and I loved the atmosphere.
I went last weekend to try out Pigsty BBQ and we all thought it was great. Ordered burnt ends, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, ribs, wings, collared greens, and onion rings. All very good! Brisket and burnt ends were the stars, will definitely be back soon. Good band! More...

Amazing food and service. Best BBQ in town. Live music and games for the kids. Can't wait to go back. Park Vista HS Varsity Softball team parents were talking about your place and 3 families showed up there on Friday.
We have gone here a few times, so I should give a review, the first time was a little confusing as I was expecting to be seated in a restaurant , but you go to the counter, the fellow who was making the sandwiches was very polite and explained what everything was, I asked him to recommend the best sand which and he gave me the Brisket topped with melted cheese and a couple fried onion rings, my wife got the smoked turkey, since it was the first time I wanted to try the sides, we got the coleslaw and Mac and cheese, and I asked for an order of collard greens, I was told they would not be ready until one fifteen, I jokingly said good it's one thirty, he looked at his watch a little embarrassed and said let me check, I was told they were not quite ready, OK, we sat down and one of the owners came over and said he would bring us out an order shortly, he was just trying to make them, so we got a large order and I couldn't stop eating them, the best collards I have had, full of smoked ham, The second time we went, my wife got the smoked ham and I got a sausage sandwich, both good but the sausage was not as good as the brisket, A fellow in line in front of me was there for the first time, I recommended the brisket and collards, which he got, he finished before us and left his table only to return again with the same order for the second time, I guess he liked it, I haven't tried the dinners but looking forward to that next.
Great BBQ! Big Al's fruit pie is delicious!! The mac & cheese is the best!!! Great atmosphere and the live band was awesome!

Food was excellent, service great and Jerrys Girls were perfect
Best rack of ribs I've had. Great flavor bbq. 2nd time coming out here and it is always good. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Great pulled pork sandwich. Staff was nice and accommodating. French fries were good and the BBQ sauce. Spicy like I love it. Mac and cheese was ok. Definitely will be back to try to rest. I came back a second time and had the slab of pork. It was real good. Drenched it with the hot and medium BBQ sauce. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Probably should have got the half rack but now I got dinner for later. More...
Great atmosphere! Great live music! Super nice staff! Beer list on point Oh yea and the BBQ was sooooo good!! Best smoked turkey ever!!!
Exceeded our expectations. Amazing burnt ends and collard greens. They also do pictures of beers.
Pigsty can throw down with the best of them! The Jakl is a perfect sandwich that combines true southern bbq and gives it a little hipster/streetfood twist. And while I'm still waiting to try the burnt ends that they only make on certain days, Pigsty did manage to sneak a coveted spot onto my short list of places in Boynton I'd recommend. The list is so short it remains in just the single digits, so it is quite an honor indeed. More...
I can't begin to express how happy i am this place opened up so close to my crib. The brisket is OFF THE CHAIN and the ribs are fantastic! Really nice staff and consistant food. A lil pricey but worth it....yum! Make sure and go by Tuesday or Saturday for the burnt ends!!! More...
We stopped in Friday night to try out some BBQ and to check the place out before we play there next Friday. I must say the brisket was excellent and Toni said the pulled pork was equally as good. Can't wait for us (Altered Roots) to perform there Friday April 7th. More...
No frills just fantastic BBQ! Stumbled across this gem and have been back every weekend since. All of the meet is smoked to perfection. The sides are to die for, coleslaw, Mac n cheese and the fries OMG! Also do yourself a favor and get an order of their donuts. You can tell that their food is made from scratch. More...
Best place in Palm Beach County. Believe the hype. Absolutely worth it. Plus the bands. Bonus
Some good BBQ! Get the banana pudding also. Don't let the exterior fool you this place is legit! Inside they did a good job renovating.
My husband and I have been seeing Crazy Fingers for many years, and were excited that they were playing so close to home. Boynton is practically in our back yard. I normally have school on Thursday nights, so we hadn't been to Pigsty to see them play, but I had tonight off so decided to take advantage and have an evening out. Woohoo! So we went for the band, but figured we might as well have dinner while we were there. And we were VERY pleasantly surprised. Absolutely by far the best barbecue we've had in south Florida. We opted to share the Chef's Platter - an excellent value of 28 bucks for a pound of meat (you can choose up to 4 types - or a 1/2 rack of ribs counts as 2 meats) and 4 small sides. We ate like, well, the pigs that this place was named for. The meat was served un-sauced but incredibly smoky and flavorful, and there were bottles of mild and hot barbecue sauce on the tables. We had:Ribs: fall off the bone tender, but not at all mushy. Perfect.Brisket: YUM. Smoky, fatty, totally unhealthy, and I'll be eating salads for a week to make up for it. Everything I want in a cheat meal!Pulled pork: good, but paled in comparison to the other two meats. Next time I'd try the smoked chicken or turkey instead.Mac & cheese: gooey, rich, topped with a flavorful crumb topping.Red beans & rice: Meh. My least favorite part of the meal.Cole slaw: pretty good, creamy, slightly sweet.Collard greens: spectacular! By far our favorite side. We were fighting over the last few bites. Bitter in a good way, meaty, perfect. The best collard greens I've ever had.Oh, and the band was fabulous too. They opened with "I'm a Hog For You" which was perfectly appropriate. They never disappoint. :-)I can't wait for summer break! I have a feeling we'll be there every week. More...
My wife and I went there this past Saturday for the 1st time. I must say the food is amazing. I had the chicken and my wife had the ribs. For the sides we ordered fries and Onion rings, The food is amazing and full of flavor. The mac and cheese is the best I ever had. My wife loved the ribs. She said they had plenty of meat on them and no fat. This is the best place in South Florida for BBQ. This is a must go to place. More...
Yes, of course the food is ridiculously delicious and addicting but, the cool part is their fun atmosphere with lots of nostalgia and nerdy eye-candy. The staff were super friendly. I'm now a regular for sure! More...
Great food and a fun place for my.little on to play! The interactive play screen was so much fun, and the wings are sooooo good, and the best mac n cheese i think ive ever had. Ended up going home with a extra large container for later! More...
The best BBQ in South Florida. As a KC native I have to say that this is right on par with KC BBQ. The most tender brisket you can get anywhere around here.
We are from KC and familiar with Joe's KC BarBQ, where the pit master trained. Pigsty's Jacl sandwich compared well to the famous Z-Man at Joe's. Give it a try. Sides were $3 each. Two of us shared fries, onion rings and beans. The onion rings were good. Fries were fresh cut - some were hotter than others. The beans were not up to KC standards. They had lots of meat but were more like a brisket chili than what I am used to. They have one of those fancy Coke machines with dozens of choices. Everything is self serve. Getting through the line takes too much time but the food is worth the effort. More...

Excellent barbecue! Tender pulled pork, THE BEST brisket we've ever had and fantastic onion rings and sausage!! We will definitely be back!! Huge portions as well!!
Very cool vintage art,Cool vibe & great BBQ! The Beef Brisquit Sandwich was so good. Free popcorn for the kids and an interactive play area for them as well!
For 29 dollars and change my wife and I had a great meal at Pigsty BBQ. Anyone who says the servings are small is nuts. Getting your food was pretty easy, lots faster than sitting down and ordering and waiting to have it brought to you. We each had a pulled pork sandwich and a coke, we split a small (so called but actually very large) order of fries, cole slaw ,and Roadhouse beans. Everything was great, I mean really good and what a value. I left pretty much stuffed and completely satisfied. There was a really good duo from Lake Worth playing Blue Grass music. They reminded me of John Prine and Iris Dement. I was sorta hoping they'd play "In Spite of Ourselves". The owner, and staff were trying their best to take care of the crowd. I really loved the Roadhouse beans. I could have made a meal out of them.....A new go to place, I'll be back soon. More...
Was looking through yelp for a recommendation on ribs and pastrami and this place popped up. The chef's bio, Boutdain's quote and a look at the online menu and I took the 20 minute drive north Friday at 2pm Obviously my 1st visit, the counter guy offers me a slice of the brisket and pastrami. I went for the brisket and threw in a small order of fries. Pastrami sample tasted a little salty for me but it was soft and tender. The brisket was thin, not moist, but tasted great. ButButButLet me tell you: probably among THE BEST FRENCH FRIES I've ever had in the whole world....EVER!!!The brisket sandwich was delicious but coming from New England gimme the fries !!! More...
Good Que and surroundings. Nice stage set up for Live Tunage. Friendly Crew.
Brisket is fantastic!!! Wish they had Smoked Turkey Legs, then it would be just like home.........(Nashville, TN). This place is the real deal. This review just made me want some, so I gotta go!!!! See ya.... More...
There's not a better barbecue joint within a 30 mile radius of this place chef-owner the stuff the people everybody this place is a home run eat there at least twice a week had breakfast yesterday biscuits and gravy it was incredible Chef brought me out some biscuits and homemade raspberry jam I was blown away the bands are incredible not too loud in the atmosphere go check it out tell him Ben Brown sent you
This place is a PHENOMENAL little hole-in-the-wall... the potato salad and roadhouse beans are a must-have, and the brisket is excellent. The ribs were definitely smoked (I'm so not a BBQ connoisseur, and my BF said that's how they're supposed to be) but probably A+ in the land of bar-be-que. We smelled the aroma while on our scooters and made a u-turn as fast as we could... this place is amazing and the perfect place for everything you desire that's BBQ. P.S. love the custom Coca-Cola machine. More...
Was really great i tried everything they had to offer and the server was amazing wish i remembered her name ashley or somthing like that will be back alot and looking forward to some good music and good times there

Great gig for Buck Oh Five at The Pig Sty BBQ in Boynton Beach. Great people, and the staff, food and service was A++.
The food and live music is fire ♡ Love going here on Thursday nights.
Great place! The ordering process was a bit confusing but the staff was very helpful and exceptionally polite. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We loved that they have live music on the weekends! More...
Wow! Best Ribs ever! This is a must try. Live music and good music that reflects the vibe of the scene. Very happy Boynton finally has a fantastic eclectic foodie place on the scene. Def try the banana pudding. Kid you not. Enjoy! Hope you get a seat before everyone finds out!!! More...
Very nice bbq place. The counter staff were really friendly and helpful. I'm not sure why some reviews talk about ordering being confusing, it's BBQ. You should have an idea what you want without even needing a menu. Smoked meat, take your pick and decide if it's going to be a sandwich or platter. I guess some people like drama.I got brisket. Nice flavor, tender, juicy, and cooked right. Food was great, place is cool looking and a personable staff. I'll be back. More...
Everything is amazing!!!! Awesome environment, awesome music, Enjoy!!!! The big pig is the real deal
I can't belive it took me all this time to discover this place that is literally within a bicycle ride of my house! It's been open I think about 3 months now and it is way cool! I love BBQ! And I love music and Thursday nights they have the great Dead cover band Crazy Fingers. I hope they stay on indefinitely. I can't wait for tomorrow. These guys play out multiple times per week and they are GREAT but about the food and I will be updating this as I eat my way through the menu.. I was by myself so I didn't feel that I could handle the whole rack of beef ribs. It was HUGE most of it cascaded off the plate extending to the limits of both sides of the tray. I actually asked the dude to the table next of me if I could snap the picture. I am skipping lunch tomorrow to get that and devour it properly. What I did get was the best pulled pork sandwich I have had in quite some time. Piled high and cooked to perfection. I did the macncheese side, yummy. Somewhere I came up with a free side coupon for tomorrow. I will prob get it again! Loved it. They had a great beer on tap Boulevards Farmers Ale 7 or 9 I forgot already as it's been almost a week since I was there but at like 8% it was killer however a bit pricey. I was soon tapping my knife on the beer glass and everything else on the table pretending I was filling in on Scarlet Begonias. Naturally I over drank and ended up closing the place standing outside talking to an old timer Dead Head as the bossman /owner /chef and Ashley a slim, cute, super hustling waitress locked the door. BTW Ashley was friendly, attentive and is a great asset to this place.Wicked interesting décor reminiscent of a juke joint lots of wood and funky signs / posters. Great stage. No bar so sitting at tables lends itself when busy to making new friends as in hey can I sit here. Also a weird section at the rear and it is not a big place holds maybe 150 is a bubble popping gizmo where bubbles float on the floor and when you step on them they pop? No clue how this thing works but kids and stoners will love it. I am thinking though that they could utilize this space with a counter and high tops. They do serve breakfast which is a thought for sure on a hangover morning. See you Thursday when the ribs are 20 on special from 24 and the music never stops till your completely satisfied. More...

I recommend ordering the simple Smoke Brisket sandwich on your first visit. Don’t be tempted by Pig-Sty’s specialty sandwich The Jakl. It is great, but you really should try the masterpiece before adding any condiments. Now skip the bun, stay away from that sauce and just enjoy barbecue perfection. More...
This place is an amazing find! Best BBQ in South Florida! We had a group of 6 and there was plenty of room for us to sit. The staff behind the counter were amazing! They helped explain all the menu items, offered suggestions, were vet funny. They really seemed to love their job!We had the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was done up proper with cole slaw on top! The brisket was super tender and juicy. Those eating the ribs were quietly scarfing them down because they were so wonderful. For sides, we had the smoked sweet potatoes (amazing), loaded potato salad (mustard based, my favorite), French fries and onion rings (both wonderful) AND the do NOT miss out on Grandmama's Mac n Cheese! The mac and cheese was out of this world! It was so good, we kept saying: pass the cheesy mac!!We will be back!! More...

I worked in a BBQ restaurant in Arkansas that had the most awesome BBQ I had ever eaten. I was afraid when I came to Florida I would never get good BBQ again. I was wrong. This was some of the best I have ever had. I will be back. More...
I'm so glad a good BBQ place opened near me. I've been here once and had a sandwich. The quality was really good. Service is a little slow but worth the wait if you want real BBQ. Their home made sauces are really good as well. Their home made desserts looked good, but I didn't have any. Get here early because once they run out, that's it! More...

Great pulled pork. I like the sweet sauce and home made mac n'cheese.
Absolutely awesome. So happy some friends told us about this excellent restaurant. The food was the best I've had in a long time. The vibe and decor were totally fitting and very cool. If you like BBQ you will love this place. We felt like we were transported back to Austin, Texas. My only knock on the place was the beer was a little pricey.... $5.00 for a PBR? More...
5 stars for the bomb ass food! This is some good BBQ. You may have to stand in line to order but that's a good sign, right!? You order, grab and find your own seat. They had an awesome band tonight! It didn't feel like A Florida spot and I dig that. We will definitely be back. More...
Second time here and finally ordered the burnt ends. Very very good and will be getting them again. Nice work guys. Place rocks!!!
zagat knows bbq. anthony bourdain knows bbq. and both knows bryan tyrel's (owner/smokemaster) bbq. as a texan, i like to think i know bbq. and i gotta tell you, this place is greatness. he put oklahoma joe's in k.c. on the map, and now pigsty is going to put boynton beach on the map. luckily for me, i live i boynton. so (for once) instead of me driving down to brickell (can you say morgan's) to meet friends at a great restaurant, they're driving up to me. greatness. indeed. finally a place worthy of my friends from north palm beach to north miami driving to meet me at--versus the other way around. the side of beans (if you can actually call it that given all the meat that's cooked in with it) alone is worth the trip. More...

Brisket was cooked to perfection, very moist, and had great flavor. It was great to see that they do BBQ properly. The place looks nice inside and the staff was friendly and got my order correct. I will be back (frequently).

Have been twice now. The ribs are wonderful and so is the Carolina pulled pork. The best Mac n cheese outside of my home. The beans are awesome and could be a meal in itself with all the big chunks of brisket. This is awesome barbecue!
Awesome BBQ - brisket is excellent - coleslaw great not too sweet - decent sized portions - I will be back!
The ribs were meaty no not fatty. The brisket was great. Delicious rub. Will come back!!
I was recommended the brisket. I'm a huge BBQ fan and don't typically order the brisket because it's normally dry. THIS brisket is phenomenal! Truth be told this is the best brisket I've ever had. I added the coleslaw and it rocks as well. Guys at the counter we extremely friendly and I will definitely be making this place a regular stop. More...
Stopped in for lunch with my daughter & her boyfriend. We all had Carolina style sandwiches with coleslaw on pulled pork. YUM!! Great coleslaw, too! Spicy natural cut fries were very good, large portions, and onion rings were tasty. The kids had a side of Mac & cheese that they said was just like homemade! We also tasted the fresh donuts - they are very small but tasty, with cinnamon. A lot like churros. We will definitely be back! More...
