I really enjoyed my meal here, went for my Birthday and had the meat platter, the smoked short ribs and pork ribs were incredible, I would go back again just for these, it was one of those meals that just made me want to order everything on the menu. I decided to try Pig And Pallet with my family after meeting 'Rob' one of the chefs who I met at the Musgrave club. He obviously loves his job and talked so passionately about the cooking and dishes at Pig And Pallet that I just had to try it! The experience did not disappoint! We ordered rump steak, venison, hot dog and smoked pork, with some local cider to wash it all down! The steak was 'at least' as good as Hard Rock/Planet Hollywood, in fact better! The venison delicious, and as for the smoked pork it was like enjoying a cuban cigar while eating the best pork chop of my life! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! All the meat, wines, beers, ciders are local. But there is a definite american Man V Food feel to the place! The portion sizes are enormous, for example there is a Tomohawk steak on the menu! Now this is a real authentic place handmade and excellent in it's interior and in it's approach to the menu from mains to drinks. The staff is friendly, kids and dogs are welcome. As always an amazing meal! Every time we go we always forget how large the servings are. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.
