Lindsey was absolutely amazing!! She was by far the best money spent in our wedding planning process. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she went well above and beyond all of our expectations! She handled everything flawlessly from making sure the vendors were educated and aware of the day of timeline, to the minuscule and tedious decorations we had decided upon. I’ll admit, I was one of those brides that was convinced I could do all the planning myself.
I mean, how hard could it be to organize a simple backyard wedding? I quickly realized the error of my ways and was so happy when we made the decision to hire Lindsey for our September 2016 wedding. Lindsey is a phenomenal communicator and was able to hone in on so many important details that we hadn’t even considered. Leading up to the wedding she kept everything organized and on track, taking over all our vendor relationships to make sure we had everything we needed to pull off a wedding in our own backyard. Lindsey took the time to understand that we wanted a nontraditional wedding that fit our laid back style and she absolutely delivered on all aspects. It was so nice to rest easy the day of the wedding knowing that Lindsey was handling all the logistics. Our wedding was so true to who we are as a couple and everything came together better than we could have ever imagined.

Lindsey was absolutely invaluable in helping us pull off the perfect wedding day. Her attention to detail, helpful coaching along the way as I planned the details, and wealth of experience were all so much more than I could have expected from a day-of coordinator. We got so much more than just someone showing up day-of. Every meeting we had leading up to the big day was reassuring and gave me so much piece of mind that I will be able to enjoy my wedding and not have to stress over details, big or small. She thought of so many things often before I even did, and the result was a smooth wedding rehearsal, perfect ceremony, and amazing celebration! Lindsey was the best money we spent on our wedding and worth every penny. We hired her as our day of coordinator but she was much much more! Right from my first conversation with her, she impressed me with her organization, attention to detail, and dependability. I was never worried about anything once it was in Lindsey's hands. She makes you feel like her best friend, willing to go above and beyond to make your day as special as possible. Lindsey kept me relaxed the days leading up to the wedding, making sure my husband and I were happy the entire time. Walking into the reception for the first time brought me to tears. Lindsey had brought my wedding vision to life and worked so hard the entire night making sure Dan and my every thought was tended to. Lindsey with Piece of Cake Weddings and Events was our saving grace for our August 2013 wedding. She helped plan our wedding from about 9 months out and was also our day of coordinator.
She was involved with everything from cake tasting to decor placement to music selection and seating arrangements. We couldn't have pulled our wedding off without her. Lindsey helped us think of the little details that we would've otherwise overlooked and our wedding day absolutely exceeded our expectations. She was extremely organized, was always thinking one step ahead and definitely cares about the little details. Lindsey went above and beyond during the planning process to make sure we were happy, relaxed and made the whole process very effortless and smooth.
The weekend of our wedding, Lindsey was organized, thoughtful and allowed us to truly enjoy the weekend without having to worry about the little details. Our venue was a private home with no onsite staff, so Lindsey coordinated all vendors, the timing of each vendor, and made sure everything was set up properly. With no onsite parking, we had a last minute change in the shuttle pickup location and needed to let 170 guests know about it in 24 hours. Lindsey handled it with ease, contacted everyone, changed our website, worked with the shuttle vendor and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The day of the wedding, Lindsey and her husband set up all of our décor, greeted each vendor, and made sure everything was perfect and on time. The day went flawlessly and Lindsey was there at the end of the night to help take down décor and make sure our guests left safely and that we were happy.
I cannot speak highly enough of Lindsey and her incredible talent. She made our dream wedding come true from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Piece of Cake Weddings and Events is very professional but also very personable. As someone who felt overwhelmed by the wedding planning process, it was so comforting to have Lindsey to work with.
She provided excellent advice and insight for things I never would have thought of on my own. She is organized, dependable, and trustworthy. Working with her felt like having a supportive friend by my side.
While we chose to have a day-of planner rather than during the entire planning process, I still felt confident that Lindsey and her husband would take care of anything and everything. If you are at all concerned about any of the coordination or "who does what when and how," I would highly recommend Piece of Cake Wedding and Events!
