We recently had Katrina at Pictures of You take photos for our Wedding and we really would not of wanted anyone else. Katrina was brilliant, she knew exactly what she was doing, she made us feel so at ease and made it so much fun. Katrina turned the photos around so quick so we all could see them through a private photo album on her website and the photos look amazing!! Katrina worked really hard to get some amazing photos of our wedding whilst respecting our wish to keep the photography informal, unobtrusive and relaxed.
We gave her a list (quite a long list actually!) of the different groups and shots we would like and she got them all!
All our guests commented how friendly and relaxed Katrina was - it was actually like having a really good friend there with a great camera. She met us beforehand and really listened to what we wanted from the day, she made some good suggestions and was happy to put herself out, walking back with us along the coastal path after the wedding and even going (in her own time) to take some extra photos of our venue and cake.
I would highly recommend Pictures of You and we are delighted with the beautiful photos of our special day

Katrina was helpful from start to finish with our wedding. At the church she accommodated what we wanted and when we got to the reception she was fantastic with 150 guests to deal with and a lot of children. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Rapport with clients, loads of experience in many 'live photography' situations, together with complete understanding of any light situations!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I ask about themselves, their work, hobbies, what's important to them about their day, about their family. I start by asking them about the plans they have so far and how I can bring the best out of their day for them.
What do you love most about your job?
Lots! I love the privilege of working with people and the results of their day in the captured images I produce. I love their happiness when they see what I've managed to capture for them - the moments they hoped they looked ok - only to have my photos and find they look amazing! Together with their happiness at being able to look back and relive a day that they have spent (often) a long time planning but which goes in a flash - and the moments they miss which I capture!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for photographs, capturing moments of people's lives as a beautiful record for them of that time in their lives.
