Wow!! Collette Evans just sent my pictures from an outdoor shoot in a field on the hottest day of the year!! Collette and her 2 apprentices were amazing as we were all feeling the heat and covered in grass! They really did go the extra mile on the shoot but the result of the photos was soooo worth it!! Yesterday I was on Live Radio, tomorrow I have a date with a girl I really like and today I had a photoshoot to get some promo shots. Today was the thing I was most nervous about. Traditionally, I don’t photo well. I think it’s because it’s normally so unnatural (people asking you to smile without something to smile about?!) but if people take pictures out of the blue, they always seems to catch the worst possible angle. So here I am investing in a professional photoshoot, feeling like I might not like any of the pictures.Other concerns I had:Time frame - Would 2 hours be enough?What happens if there aren’t any pictures I like?How many pictures will I be allowed to keep?Will I get to take pictures that I feel like taking? How many different photos can we do in a studio setting?These are my concerns? ☄️ ‍♀️? this is Collette of Picture Perfect Photography (appropriate name) smashing them out of the park. I have so many incredible pictures of me looking like my ideal self - and I get to keep as many as I want! It took a little bit to get into it but Collette really made it easy to feel comfortable and natural (which then made the best pictures!) She’s incredibly good at being professional and personal at the same time, which with my entrepreneurial hat on, was great to see. It seemed like a big expense - BEFORE I had the shoot. I walked away feeling absolutely wowed at how many amazing pictures (including weird ideas I had that she made even better) I now have to keep and use forever. I knew Collette was good because of recommendations from trusted sources, so I expected her to be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was just expecting me to be an awkward customer and not photo well at all.As I told Collette, she exceeded expectations - she’s not just “good”, she’s “just better” so what choice do I have but to award her the elusive 6 Star review? I cannot recommend Collette enough. We got married at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland and had a party locally when we returned and wanted one photographer to do it all. A few photographers we spoke to before Collette were were totally disinterested but gave astronomical quotes for doing the shoot.
From the moment we met Collette she was really excited about our plans and was more than happy to do both venues, and at a very reasonable price too. She went to visit Bamburgh Castle before the wedding day to get a feel for the place and get ideas of the best locations to use within the castle. On the day of the wedding Collette arrived really early and did my make up as well as my daughter, daughter in law and sons girlfriend and what a brilliant job she did. We felt really relaxed as she took the wedding photos and ended up on the beach having a few funny shots!
At the party on our return she did a great job organising our guests, it all seemed quite effortless.

After the wedding Collette got in touch with our suppliers and sent them some of our photographs and even wrote a blog about the wedding on her website which was used on Twitter by Bamburgh Castle.

When we went to choose the photos for our album Collette was very patient with us, guiding us through our selection and giving us ideas on what would work.

We collected our album a few days ago and it is stunning. Collette went to the trouble of gift wrapping it to make it extra special and she made sure we were completely happy before we left. As we were about to leave she gave us a gift...........a lovely calendar with photos from our wedding.

Quite simply Collette is a true professional who strives constantly to provide an excellent service. I would not hesitate to recommend her and hopefully will use her again in the future.
