What makes a great website?
In a nutshell, a great website is easy to navigate, provides clear calls to action for your users and is full of useful content relevant to your business to increase your organic search engine visibility and ultimately get you more customers.. On the backend, websites are technically sound, fast and also optimized to enhance visibility.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We like to understand your business - what is the problem you are trying to solve? What have you tried in the past. Once we understand the goal, we like to discuss your services and product offerings, your competition and what makes you different. A deep understanding of those things allows us to give you guidance on what we'd recommend to get you the results you're looking for.
Describe your creative process.
It really depends on the specific creative ask, but we always start with thorough research of your business and website. We also like to understand the landscape. If we are writing ads, what is everyone else saying? We want to avoid that to stand out and really emphasize your specific niches. On the content side, we pair ideas that will resonate with your users with relevant keywords in the search engines to get you the most bang for each piece you publish.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need general business and billing information, paperwork outlining the project and as mentioned above, to understand your objectives and your business. We also like to understand how involved you want to be, any nuances with your brand, how you like to receive reporting, etc. In addition to that, depending on the project we'll need access to any existing accounts. We like projects fully prepped before launch to make the process as smooth as possible.
What do you love most about your job?
Data! We are total geeks when it comes to numbers which is why we are in the digital space. We love the ability to launch a program and start to see results almost instantly.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We were part of the big agency world for years and missed getting our hands dirty. We love being involved with our clients from A to Z which is why we staff at the Director level. You won't interact with one person in the beginning and have someone else running the program.
