I literally stumbled across this shop whilst in Barnsley a town I really don't know that much. I walked in the shop to see an AMAZING 3D Blue Tit and Tabby Cat. I was looking for a little flower for my dog's collar , so she could wear it at my Mum's funeral the next day. I said "WOW!! look at that Blue Tit and it only happened to be THE Blue Tit and Cat that were being made at that very moment in time for the funeral the very next day in West Yorkshire!!'Spooky' indeed. These two creations are absolutely fantastic. Everyone couldn't believe how excellent they are. After the funeral they actually came to live with me, where they sit pride of place outside my window, so I can see them everyday. Mum would have absolutely LOVED them , as much as I do. When my father died who was a keen fisherman I contacted stephanie tue as I wanted something special. I made a plaque with' gone fishing ' on it. I purchased a small fishing rod and asked stephanie to do something special. When the funeral day came the talk was not only about my dad, but also about the superb arrangement on the top of a wicker casket. People were taking photos as it was so special. I was so proud. Hi, i would just like to say thankyou to pickerings in barnsley for my recent delivery of flowers. My partner ordered them and had them delivered to home for my birthday, unfortunately i was not in to receive them but the delivery driver had posted a card stating where they had been left, my neighbour had taken them in, and i can say i think she was a little jealous to say the least that she had to part with them, my neighbour said the driver was very smartly dressed and polite being an elderly lady the driver carried them in for her, nothing was to much trouble. she said.I have had the fowers a week tomorrow, they came in there own water bowl in a box, with clear instructions and food on how to care for your flowers, i have since removed and put into 3 separate vases, followed the instructions and my flowers look amazing one week on still very fresh and am extremely happy with my birthday present as i love flowers.I will be using pickerings again for any other occasions where i need some, and would happily pay to have them delivered. Steph did the flowers for our wedding on 9th June 2018. We met a couple of times to discuss ideas and decided on colourful roses and peonies in a rustic style which fit perfectly with our farm wedding.
Steph was lovely and enthusiastic, she made sure our needs were met and also came up with lots of ideas and improvements.
When Steph delivered the flowers on the morning of wedding, I was so pleased with how they had turned out and lots of our guests commented on how gorgeous the bouquets and tables looked.
I would definitely recommend Pickerings, the flowers were beautiful and at an affordable price, and the service was excellent.

Aww we had such an amazing day....loved every second and want to do it all over again!! The flowers you did were absolutely stunning - so many people commented on them!
Can't thank you enough!
I wanted the flowers to last forever and more than just the wedding day and as we were going straight on honeymoon, we decided to dedicate my bouquet to Mikeys nan and grandad as part of the speeches (as they were the longest standing married couple in the room) - it absolutely made his nanas day (there was a fair few tears)! We also took the staircase flowers and put some on Mikeys other nan and grandads grave the following morning after the wedding and some on my great aunties grave too. Then we gave some to our next door neighbour (as she's old and couldn't make the wedding) - we had more tears!
So thanks again your flowers not only made our day but touched so many others too.

Fabulous little gem hidden on Barnsley Road. We found it by accident when I was fitted for my wedding dress. They came highly recommended and I can say that we were not disappointed.
