Encontrei esta padaria no google e como sou fã da culinária grega marquei de ir lá quando estivesse em NY. Achei muito interessante a cultura grega inserida em um espaço extremamente new yorker. Com opções para comer na mesa e opções para pegar e levar. Lá eu encontrei desde pequenas porções de pães, pequenas spanakopitas, iogurte grego, até opções que valem como uma boa refeição. Who knew there would be a Greek bakery in Soho that is this authentic and this special. My go to lunch spot when I am in the neighborhood. We threw a big party the day after our wedding this summer, and Pi provided all of the food. They customized the menu, delivered everything with a beautiful presentation, and all was so delicious we had NO leftovers. Would have been the same if we ordered twice as much food. Love Pi. My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a coffee on our way to another restaurant. We quickly got overwhelmed by all of the delicious food inside. Needless to say we never made it to the other restaurant. Everything here from sweets to savouries and drinks were excellent! The staff were all very lovely and made us feel at home. I rarely get to SOHO as my office is uptown but when I do PI is a must! Their sweets, spinach and cheese pitas and coffee ( I like cold frappe) is perfection! Yesterday, i stopped in before a morning appointment and felt like a healthy bowl of yogur . Oh guys... it was an unexpected ( birthday) treat.. One of their toppings over super rich yogurt is a combo of sweet red cherries, honey and crumbled ( not too sweet) baklava.... BLISS!!!! If you can, if you have time, sit and savor your meal... its peaceful and lovely and the staff welcomes each and every one.. many by name! Good appetite More...
