At the recommendation of a dear friend, I made an appointment to see Mackenzie for my bad hip. She was completed thorough and understanding of my challenges and my pain level. After a complete assessment, she performed some dry needling, joint adjustments and "That-thingy-where-they-scrape-your-muscles-to-stimulate-blood-flow". This group of wonderful professionals KNOW their stuff! I was injured in an automobile accident. I’m no “spring chicken”, but they were able to help me get back to as normal as possible. I suffer from chronic back problems and my work requires extensive national and international travel. My monthly or bi-monthly treatments help manage my condition so that I experience minimal pain. They’ve also taught me exercises to help me when pain or spasms come. Additionally, I get an IV before each long trip to stay strong. Today is my 1 year anniversary of going to Physical Dimensions. I think I am their only patient who interviewed them before I let them treat me.
:) I have arthritis in both of my knees and when I met Dustin I was in so much pain. We started physical therapy twice a week and I had exercises to do on my own. He encouraged me and gave me hope that I would not need to have knee surgery and let me know there were a lot of other things we could do before that would need to happen. Within a few months I was feeling better and he suggested I start a Personal Training program with Rico. So in July, I started working with Rico at least twice a week. Between Dustin, Rico and my nutrition, I am almost pain free.
Dustin is a great Physical Therapist who knew when to suggest I move on to training. Rico is a wonderful Personal Trainer, a very gentle Chiropractor and he is so smart. I have learned a ton about nutrition and training from him.
I can not say enough good things about Physical Dimensions. I am grateful a friend referred me. They have a real passion to help their clients feel better. Do yourself a favor - if you are in pain and you want to feel better, call and make an appointment today.

The welcoming staff is quick to greet by name, their streamlined space is vigilantly clean, private treatment rooms are a relieving courtesy, onsite equipment for recovery and rebuilding further help ensure a best outcome, and a plethora of additional details that are thoughtful comforts and conveniences can go unnoticed because they make sense.
I was a frustrated, life alteringly-injured athlete and "do-er" that underwent a few major surgeries and had years of therapies. I chose to take one final leap towards relief after vetting Tyler Fowler and was appreciatively blown away at our first in-depth consultation. Aside from the standard "check the box questions," he asked a string of questions no other therapy provider previously asked. Tyler actually heard me and collected much information to ponder.
It was clear at my first treatment that considerable thought was put into the approach. As we worked together twice weekly, I was propelled to renewed levels of strength, gifted days of substantial pain reduction and was able to quickly forego daily need of a brace. With time, Tyler was able to discern appropriate diagnostic procedures which ultimately led to a very necessary multi-faceted surgery.
Physical Dimensions is an office of care providers that are progressive and at the top of their field(s) affording each patient amazing individualized treatment. If you appreciate follow-up, a willingness to communicate with other care providers, accountability, encouragement and appropriate "grief" (all in wanting the best outcome), then Physical Dimensions should be your first or next call.

How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
What you eat, when you eat and how you eat is as important as the type and amount of exercise that you do. A balanced diet is essential for good all round health and should provide you with the energy you need to complete your daily tasks, and sufficient vitamins and minerals to aid recovery and to ward off illness.
A balanced diet needs to be sustainable for the long term, and this can be achieved with a little planning and forethought. Don't be hoodwinked into believing that celebrity endorsed type diets work because they don't.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
My clients cover the age and fitness spectrum, and each of them are unique. But everyone is capable of achieving their goals if they're prepared to work for them. I'm a strong believer in setting realistic goals in strict timeframes - and I continuously re-evaluate the goals to make sure we're on track.
The real key to fitness is to enjoy what you do - at Physical Dimensions we use a huge repertoire of exercises and activities and always try to have fun while we're training.
Ample rest between training sessions is also very important but is often neglected - more is not necessarily better.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
There isn't really any secret to it - eat well, sleep well, drink plenty of water and train regularly. Add as much variety to your training as you can, and make each session challenging. Try to enjoy life, accept that sometimes things don't go to plan and don't waste energy trying to change things that you can't change.
What do you love most about your job?
It's a sad fact that many of my clients come to me for the first time after suffering a health scare or illness. Most are quite apprehensive about hiring a personal trainer at first and not sure what to expect, but it's extremely rewarding to put their minds at rest and to see them making steady progress. We've used our experience and knowledge to change people's lives for the better and there's no better feeling than that.
I also get real satisfaction from helping people reach their health and fitness goals or seeing their health improve through our bespoke training programmes - you can't put a price on that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had previously managed gyms and health clubs and always felt comfortable with the business side of things, but those job roles never allowed me to work intensively on a one-to-one basis with clients. I'm also a trained Sport, Exercise & Nutritional Scientist so starting out on my own allowed me to use my knowledge and experience to work with a wider range of clients, irrespective of their age, fitness level or health profile.

There are literally thousands of personal trainers qualifying each month and it's certainly a buyers market. At Physical Dimensions we do go that extra mile to ensure that the customer receives a professional and friendly service. Our results speak for themselves, and the fact that the average client has been training with us for 6 years or more shows that we're doing something right. Despite the very high quality and wide range of services we offer we're still priced very competitively and offer various easy payment schemes.
