Peter is awesome! He's so hard working, his prices are very fair and he does an amazing job. He painted the entire outside of my home and trim, plus stucco patch and painted/repaired my fence. Peter painted the exterior of our 3,500 sqft stucco with wood trim house in 2015, and he returned a year later to paint the interior, which was six months ago. Peter just recently came to our aid with a gallon of Sherwin Williams for us to have matching paint for some new woodwork. He does excellent work with drywall repairs and wood repairs. This was our first time for a complete interior painting, including lacquered kitchen cabinets. Be prepared for him to put plastic sheeting everywhere in the entire house to protect your furnishings and flooring from the paint spray. Let him completely finish before you start to look for items for touchup, then do a very, very, detailed inspection with blue tape to identify touchups -- it works better that way. He can then do a comprehensive round of touchups to fix what you identify. Peter offered to do another round of touchups if we discovered new items, but we decided to do these minor touchups ourselves at our convenience, with some guidance from him. Be careful to save and label the paints he used so you will have matching leftovers for future needs. More...

He submitted a detailed proposal to start and answered all my questions and concerns. He started the job on time, did a great job, and finished on time. The resulting paint job was beautiful, generating many compliments and referrals from my neighbors. Peter and PH Painting Company did such an amazing job painting a room and a couple of bathrooms for us in our new home, we had them return to paint the rest of our home. They did an amazing job, took extra care in preparing/covering things prior to painting. PH Painting is a great company to work with. Peter is very professional and was one of the easiest contractors I've ever worked with. He made sure to explain everything throughout the entire job and made sure all of his guys paid close attention to detail in their work. They made sure to protect everything around the house during the prep and painting. They covered our pool during the job to ensure as little debris or paint made its way into the pool. Overall, they did an amazing job on the house. They weren't the cheapest but after seeing the end result I understand why. They did some extra work on the house and threw it in at the original estimated price. They even took our wooden mailbox home with them and refinished it for no charge. This was a finishing touch that we didn't expect. I was planning on buying a new one. This looks better than the one I was considering. I highly recommend PH Painting. We had Peter paint the inside of the home we recently purchased in Newport Beach. He did a great job. We also had him power wash the outside of the house, touch up the outside wood work, do stucco repair as well as epoxy our garage floor. He did each job on time and the results were fantastic. I like that he provides you with a detailed estimate so that you know exactly what he plans to do and their is no question of cost. He is also very friendly and professional. About a year ago, I purchased a new house that came with 2 bright pink bedrooms. Shortly after I moved in, I called Peter and asked if he could repaint the bedrooms for me. He was professional and happily able to come just a few days after we spoke. I asked Peter to paint the bedrooms white, and he did an incredible job. After working with Peter, I referred him to my boss who was looking for someone to paint our office. My bossed was so impressed that he asked Peter to come back and do touch ups throughout our office regularly. He now comes in once a month, after hours and paints over any marks, scuffs and dents on the walls. His prices are very reasonable. All these great reviews are absolutely true! Peter is professional, meticulous, communicative and pleasant. He responds to every message and is involved personally at the job site. He will point out problem spots, and help you come up with the best solutions. We had to reschedule the job, and Peter worked with us smoothly and easily to change plans as necessary. To top it off, when a troublesome neighbor expressed concerns (the crew had already covered everything in her yard to protect from overspray), Peter kindly communicated with her and calmed her fears. Peter is both thoroughly professional and a joy to work with. In the past year, he painted both the interior and exterior of our mid-century home in Pacific Beach. He took great care not to allow any marks, paint or otherwise, on the original ceilings and even matched the colors on the old wood to cover repairs that had to be done by the carpenters. His prices are reasonable, his work is impeccable, and his honesty is unquestionable. During the exterior project, we had to be out of town as he finished the trim, including using a color we had agreed on but had not actually seen on the wall. When we returned, we could not have been happier with the final result. .I had some termite work done and some it was only primered, also some cracks and a poor paint job we inherited from the previous owners. We normally do most of our own painting, but Peter was highly recommended by a friend.I researched and had one other quote for reference, and PH Painting was slightly higher. We decided to go with PH Painting after talking to Peter and listening to his recommendations. This was a good decision; they did a very thorough job, and overall, his work was very professional and invoice was very reasonable. I even had them re-stain & varnish my Mahogany front entry doors and do some additional inside patch and painting. We just bought a home built in the 40s. The home was old and paint was chipping everywhere. PH Painting came highly recommended from the listing agent, so we met with Peter to see what he has to say. He gave us a lot of confidence with his professionalism and convinced us that he will definitely do his best at every job. We got bids from other painters as well. PH Painting was not the cheapest, but he wasn't the most expensive either. In fact, he was $1400 less than the most expensive bid we got, so we went with him.Things were going smoothly until we hit a little snafu. We had a miscommunication regarding the colors, but we were able to resolve the problem to my complete satisfaction. This incident we had spoke VOLUMES to me regarding PH Company's commitment to customer service satisfaction. Our resolution was very reasonable and only added a day to the project end date.In addition to us being happy customers, our neighbors are all very happy with the way the house looks. Here are some of their quotes:Neighbor 1: "Your house looks brand new now! We got our house painted and they quote us two thousand dollars more than yours, and they did a bad job.
