Ability, patience and good equipment. Listening and understanding of the clients requirements and desires in the images. Capturing the moment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What would you like the image to portray and purpose of the project. Discuss how to achieve the best results.
Who, what, when and where?
Who or whom - The subject of the image and how it is to be taken. Posed, candid, action etc.
What - The environment and event in which the images are to be taken and how to gain the best images
When - Important to do this at the clients best available time and to be punctual. In the case of events be there early to gain knowledge of surroundings and be prepared.
Where - Making sure of the location of the photo shoot and the environment.
What do you love most about your job?
The love of photography, capturing the moment in time, making a great image.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The desire to work in a field that always brought new challenges.
