I went to a basic digital BYOB photography class here and it was wonderful!! Xavier was so helpful and kind, we even did some outside shooting. My class was not that big and everyone still had an amazing time. Xavier was easy to follow, let us ask as many questions as we wanted, and never made any of us feel dumb or stupid, it was a great night. Their studio is filled with their passion and work its beautiful. I would recommend and have recommended this class to many friends, I think it would also make a good group activity with friends. Just took the Beginners DSLR class, LOVED IT. Very informative, instructor nothing less than excellent, made the difficult concepts very easy to understand, fun, entertaining. I walked away knowing a whole lot more than when I walked in. Not afraid of the buttons on my camera any more. Feel like I can take at least very decent shots at this point, out of Auto mode! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, going to take the Advanced class when it is offered as well! More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is getting to know your client. We believe a consultation is very important before the session so that we may understand the goals and ideas that each client has for a session. Skill both technically and creatively is also extremely important. We have been in the photographic business over 20 years and understand lighting and posing which makes our work stand out from others.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What types of photographs are you looking for? What is your style? Are you traditional, or modern? How will you be using these images? Are you interested in buying the images, or having us create an album or wall portrait for your home? Or both? What is your budget? Would you like studio portraits, outdoor portraits or both?
What do you love most about your job?
We love creating something special for our clients. We love meeting new people, learning about what they would like us to create for them. We love photography! There is something so magical about setting up the lights and posing and capturing a moment that will last a lifetime. We also love to take photographs into photoshop and create art.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have been photographing out of our home for over 20 years. We recently just opened up our studio in order to have more space to meet with clients, and photograph in the studio. We also wanted to begin teaching as more and more people are buying cameras. Education is key! We love working hard, serving others and having the freedom to choose projects that matter.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a husband and wife team with years of experience. We listen to our clients and we work very hard to create what is important to them. We are trained with lighting techniques and posing techniques that will make your images stand out from others. We care. We care about each one of our clients and doing our best work for each session or project.
