My daughter mentioned she was having a boudoir shoot for a gift for her husband to be. I thought it would be nice to have one for my husband too to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. It was really nice to have our hair and make-up done in a professional way - it just added to the fun. Sally makes you feel really comfortable and is really good to work with - she listened to us and asked the right questions about what we wanted. She produced some beautiful photos - it was really hard to choose from the selection. I chose a folio of 5 photos and a metallic style picture for our bedroom wall. We reached out to Sally-Anne to attend our Summer Party that we held for our clients. We wanted some natural images of the team, our clients networking and everyone having a good time. Sally came to our yard to do a western themed photo shoot for my partner Chris with his horse as a gift. Well what can I say, we both had a really good time and were immediately put at ease by Sally’s professional and friendly approach, she listened to what we wanted and gave ideas on how these could be created. She immediately saw and caught the connection between Chris and his horse, and had a real rapport with all the animals. I particularly liked the fact that Sally put no pressure on us with regard to time during the photo shoot, making time to get everything just right for us. She also showed a genuine interest in our ‘western ideas’ which put us at ease and allowed us to have fun and explore ideas for different pictures. I have always felt nervous of having my picture taken but Sally picked this up and gave me confidence to join in with the pictures and I am so glad she did. As well as the actual shoot all communication with Sally has been very easy from the first time we contacted her, with regular texts and emails from Sally to ensure we got the ideal weather conditions for our shoot. I wanted an extra special gift for my Husband on our wedding day & chose a boudoir photo shoot! We did the shoot in Sally’s (AMAZING) home after a morning of hair and makeup. I met Sally at a wedding fayre and booked her for my wedding which was on June 8th 2018. We discussed what sort of photos I wanted, as it was only a small wedding. I had no idea of what I wanted. She put me at ease and turned up to my hotel room on the day. She took some lovely pictures of me getting ready and my shoes and dress and accessories.I was running a bit late and she even helped lace me into my dress and put me at ease as I was feeling a bit stressed.She was more like a Sister than a photographer! I’ll never forget her great advice before I went into the room to get married. She calmed me down and told me to forget everyone else when I walked in and to just focus on my husband to be and enjoy the moment. I’m so glad she said this as it enabled me to be ‘in the moment’ and I will never forget it.She wasn’t bossy or stuffy like some wedding photographers can be and I felt that she was on my ‘wavelength’ and I had complete confidence in her.She knew all the best areas in the grounds of the venue to get the best photos.She also knew when I was getting a bit fed up with posing for the photos and gave me the space to have a bit of a rest.When I received the photos, I was very pleased and impressed with the quality and the amount of photos that she took.Many are very special which I will treasure forever.On my wedding day I told Sally that I was so pleased that I had booked her to be my photographer. Sally came and took photos of my family as we gathered at Bowood house for dinner for my mums birthday. We are a small family (9 in total) and Sally spent time with us getting wonderful pictures of the children, the individual family units, my parents and the whole group. After feeling a bit flat for sometime with the winter blues, I wasn't sure whether a boudoir shoot would be what I needed to help me to regain my confidence. At the start of our day together, the last thing I felt like doing was flaunting my body. With a busy schedule and winter upon us, it had been easy for me to hide the ever growing waistline under layers of clothing, turning a blind eye to the fact that half my jeans didn't fit me anymore, as well as ensuring I still had shape to the hamster like roundness of my cheeks through the make-up wonder of contouring. However, the thought of baring all was a scary one and it was difficult to know how I would feel. But that's exactly it, I felt great! We all fall victim to over critiquing ourselves, as well as over indulging on cheese, wine and chocolates, snuggling up in front of the telly of a dark, chilly evening. But that simply doesn't matter for a boudoir shoot because with Sally-Anne's expertise, I felt back to my old self in no time at all; relaxed, beautiful & vivacious. Creative, sassy and energised! If you want to feel relaxed, have fun and go away with some beautiful photographs of yourself to look back on in years to come, then this is the shoot for you.
