What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Love. Without it, the passion isn't there. If someone's heart isn't harmony with their work, how could they ever meet your expectations. I can never emphasize that enough. Taking one or two photos doesn't always cut it. It usually take many shots, multiple setting variations, and diverse obscure angles.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What kind of photos are you looking for? Not meaning big/small, black & white, super detailed. I want to know what you want to feel. What thoughts and emotions would you want to expect out of the photographs? Happiness, joy, laughter, love, empathy, pride.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing my client gazing at beautifully composed photograph. Pure emotion and love soaring through their eyes. The whole process is honestly my favorite. Anywhere from preparing for a session, photographing an event, or even seeing to joy I bring to an event.
