Full disclosure: I am her brother. And on a personal note, I don't really like seeing pictures of myself. It's a hangup I have been trying to get over. But the few pictures I actually do like of myself, the ones that I like showing to people, have been the ones Lynn has taken. She has that knack. It's one of the hardest aspects of being a photographer, especially a professional one for people's major life events - making people comfortable. One can't be invisible while pointing a lens the size of an Oktoberfest mug all over the place, but one can be inviting and even make it fun for everyone involved. And at this my sister excels. She loves doing this, and being trusted with such an important responsibility. She wants to know the people and their stories she is helping to tell. Because that's the secret to a good photo.Also, the pictures she takes are pretty sweet. I mean, technically - the lighting, framing, use of color. They speak for themselves that way.
