What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For photos of people, the secret is to make the client more comfotable about standing in front of a camera. I do this by talking to the client about a lot of different things so they feel like they know me better and are more comfortable with me taking their picture. For other types of photos, the secret is taking a clear shot and paying attention to details, including what’s going on in the background and at the edges of the frame.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the occasion of this event? (Wedding, family photos, birthday party, solo portraits, etc.)
How would you like your photos delivered? Digital copies, physical prints, or both?
What is the location and time of the shoot?
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is receiving really positive and enthusiastic feedback from a customer after I deliver their final proofs of their photos. Knowing they’re happy with the end result always makes me smile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because it gave me full control of the quality of work I gave back to my clients. I hold myself to a very high standard, so the photos that I take and finish are held to that same high standard.

Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s a passion. Because of that, I will put 100% effort into every aspect of your photo shoot. I will actively prepare for the photo shoot by coming up with ideas for shots before I even arrive, I will take a ton of pictures from all sorts of angles to be sure I have the shots I need during the shoot, and I will put in hours after the shoot perfecting the final photos so that you come away stunned by the fantastic results.
