worked for pheonix for a 3 day outdoor cinema event, Adam was fantastic at keeping us updated with timings etc and Sam was an absolute pleasure to work for, he was very clear, made allowances when needed ( I had childcare the first might and he saw to it I was home in time for my sitter).
he also took on board our individual strengths and preferences and made sure we were happy with our post .
I'd definitely recommend them as a place if employment and as far as the event went I had friends who attended and they said that the staffing was excellent, there was enough stewards around should anyone need any assistance and that they were friendly and helpful.

Omg I have to state how amazing phoenix events are ! They do amazing event but also go out of there way to support charities and people like myself

I do lots of charity work and when ever I do they are always there making a donation and helping me

I also do pageants they are are one of my sponsors and they helped me in the past cover my hotel cost for my last pageant and I won miss wales dreams

I have been invited to America to represent wales but I need sponsorship to help cover cost of flights and hotel
And pheonix where right there ready to help, and have offered to cover some of the cost of my flights !!! Honestly I couldn’t recommend them more !!!
Always there for the community and ready to help

And by hiring pheonix events /attending there events you are also in tern helping them with there great work helping charities

Went to a Disco last night which Adam and his team of Phonenix Events East Ltd did the Security for. Everyone was very professional including welcoming the Public in telling me where the Rest rooms and smoking area was as I had never been to the venue before During the evening I spotted them patrolling keeping everyone safe. Security Guard Services

Phoenix Events were called on to provide assistance at our Marathon event, one of the first in the country to be held under the Covid restrictions. We needed a 'left luggage' plus additional manpower in an 'assembly area' - both new requirements to mitigate the covid risks. Our contact Adam fully understood the brief and participated in the planning and implementation of the services. His team were flexible and absolutely 'wilco' at all times. With little notice the cold spring suddenly became the hottest day of the year creating a host of additional pressures for runners and staff alike. We do not just want to be another sub contractor we want to be considered as part of your Event Team. Where possible we provide the same faces for each event, this is one of our key assets as allows contiunuity of service.

Our Director and Founder, Adam Harding has 16 years' experience working for and in partnership with industry leading operators, providing a fully integrated service. Adam started his career as a Steward and worked his way up to a Supervisor. From here, he started his own company, which became responsible for all services, specialising in events, car parking, stewarding, security and traffic management.

At Phoenix Events (East) Ltd, we are determined to provide the best events services for all of our clients, regardless of the nature of event. We take pride in professionally training all of our staff, meaning they have the appropriate training in the skills needed to represent your company/event. To help our clients save time and money, it is our responsibility to provide the staff and services, in the most financially efficient form possible. As a pledge, will never sub contract, and ensure complete reliability by using our own company staff, meaning your event will never be understaffed. All of our stewards and security have worked for a variety of events (e.g., charity fundraisers, sports matches, music festivals, weddings), they have valuable transferrable experience which can be applied to other events in the future. Our stewards and security are all DBS checked for added peace of mind.

Due to government restrictions being lifted, we are now able to offer both in person and remote services, in order to fit the client and their needs. It is important to us that we have direct and detailed conversations with our customers to enable us provide the most effective and efficient services to holistically cater for their event and venue.

Whilst Covid is no longer something you are required to quarantine for, if the customer has any concerns we had strict robust covid measures and should a client feel they or their event is somewhat vulnerable to this we can apply these, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss.

Our focus on Customer Services allows our staff to use their skills in multiple ways such as event stewarding and customer service advisor roles.

Roles can include but are not limited to:

IA Security & Manned Guarding

Whether it is for retail, wholesale, commercial, residential or industrial premises, Phoenix Events (East) Ltd provides skilled and professionally trained,

SIA Security Officers (Non-Frontline) –, SIA Door Supervisors (Frontline)) and CCTV licensed static security guards for all on-site security requirements.

We work closely with selected partners to provide some of the above roles to ensure that the high level of service required is delivered and provide a complete package of services.

Appreciating that it is the safe and secure running of your business that is important, our uniformed security officers deter theft and vandalism, as well as reducing the potential damage from risks such as fire and flood.

Reflecting your own values, courteous, personable and highly competent, Phoenix Events (East) security officers ensure that the first impression visitors to your premise gain is one of complete professionalism.

Comprehensive and continuous in-house programmes, augmented by the training provided by Project Griffin and other courses, ensure Phoenix Events (East) Ltd staff are always aware of current legislation changes, client needs, business improvements, current threat levels and personal development. These multi-skilled officers are also flexible in the roles they can perform for clients, when needing to undertake duties such as caretaking, reception, stock control, administration and cleaning tasks to help the organisation run smoothly.

Phoenix Events (East) Ltd take responsible for ensuring the hotel is operating to its high standard and ensure preparations are in place for the forthcoming day. We always use night staff that have experience in working nights. We will never use staff that have been working the day.
Key Responsibilities:

Check bar is ready for takeover, any stock needed before Duty Manager leaves, ice, lemon etc
Bar work,
Wash glasses in kitchen and return to Barford, Valley or Sports Bar, leaving areas tidy
Clear areas of coffee cups etc, remove from trays and stack neatly on wash up area.
Clean and tidy public areas where necessary and ensure that environment is kept clean and tidy at all times
Clear all bottle skips to cellar
Preparation of breakfast trays and service to the rooms when required.
Clear down and lay up Brasserie for breakfast and Conference rooms as detailed on Function sheets to the Hotel standards as trained
To assist with the correct service of the Brasserie, Sports Bar, Room Service menu and beverages.
In Winter, tend fire, replenish logs, Grit Pathways
Order newspapers and deliver where necessary
Carry out timely and efficient Morning Call service as required
Print notices and change notice boards are required
Ensure attention to detail is maintained whilst opening up other departments and ensure all departmental checklists are completed
Guest property lost / found procedure to be followed
Man, reception until receptionist takes over
Deal with guests promptly on arrival and departure, as per the hotel Standards for check in and check out procedures
To assist guests with luggage when required
To ensure all documentation, i.e. checks/bills are completed as necessary and carried out per the Hotel Standards
Taking of monies for the payment of services, cash and credit card
To conduct a minimum of 2 security checks, inside and out during the night
Ensure all corridors are clear: Fire Extinguishers and fire doors are secure, returning any trays outside bedrooms to the kitchen
To be aware of hotel security and fire/emergency procedures at all times
To be responsible for the general security of the company property, departmental keys, stock and comply with Health & Safety responsibilities


The night porter will take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running and the security of the hotel during the night. To provide portering, security and reception services, assisting guests and staff in any way possible. Some of the Key responsibilities we can cover.

Our services include a ‘Start to Finish Approach’. Having agreed requirements with the client/venue organiser, the following services are available:

Parking plans encompassing any traffic management requirements
Signage – internal
Comprehensive stocks of car parking control equipment, cones, barriers, stakes, tape, rope and sign boards for use with cars, coaches, HGVs and motorbikes.
Latest Dab licensed radios all with ear pices. All staff will have and 1 for each organiser as standard, more can be requested and we our able to supply as many radios as a event requires and charging bank.
Insurance – comprehensive liability cover with disclaimer display.
Risk assessment for health and safety policy.
Experienced local staff.
Uniformed personnel branded hi vis uniform at all times with appropriate PPE is provided to all our staff.
Traffic counts, recorded regularly
Formal employment application and vetting apply to all personnel.
Daily traffic analysis.
Provision of personnel (audit/ticket sellers) for car park ticket sales where appropriate.
Multi-agency consultation.


No matter the scale of the operation, our focus is on a safe and effective experience for visitors taking into account the wider impact our operations have on the event’s local residents and businesses.



A safe internal traffic system is vital to the wellbeing of an event site both during build and breakdown. In achieving this you will reduce site congestion and ensure that the build is not delayed.

We have trained banks-man available and traffic marshals who will ensure safe and controlled vehicle movement on and around the site. The creation of one-way systems, vehicle holding areas and enforcing vehicle movement rules are included in this procedure. Our team will always be ready to utilise a plan B and C and be proactive on any problems that occur as they happen.

Traffic controllers can record access and egress movement of vehicles into restricted areas which can reduce equipment theft.

The car parking staff are most likely to be one of the first personnel with whom customers will have the opportunity of verbal contact, so we understand that first impressions are important. Therefore, their assistance will reflect substantially upon your customers’ overall impression of your event organisation. All staff have read and signed our staff code of conduct and take their roles as ambassadors for Phoenix Events (East) Ltd as a very serious one.

Traffic management is vital for any event, no matter the scale or complexity.

Following our simple, flexible and professional approach we can provide a tailored plan that suits your event.

With all our services, it starts with an initial meeting and consultation through to the event operation and resumes with a full debrief and report.

We can assist or apply on your behalf (Charges apply) for Temporary Traffic Road Orders (TTRO) and can consult, assist or create traffic management plans which can be submitted to local councils, police or safety committees.

Our customer-friendly marshals will be trained to 12D standards and adhere to all Chapter 8 guidelines.

We can produce and supply generic or bespoke wayfinding signage and provide compliant traffic management equipment and vehicles.

Should there be a service we are unable to supply, we work closely with local contractors that can and therefore offer a complete package and management.

We can provide radios, earpieces, road traffic signs, barriers. These can be useful tools for large events and small for effective communication without intereference.
