Exceptionally perfect!! What a lovely experience we had from booking right through to the end. Vicky and Phil could not have done more to make the whole experience perfect. Vicky was so polite, kind and helpful on the phone and advised me to bring several clothes to decide on the day and maybe bring my baby in a sleep suit in case of any accidents on route (perfect advice). Phil on the day was so funny he was jumping through door ways, pulling faces, generally going above and beyond. I could not have wished for more and I felt so at ease. You feel like a big part of a close family and your made to feel so welcome and appreciated which is a rare experience now a days. Love this place - love these people!Have had 2 photo shoots for my daughter here now. One when she was 5 and again at 8. Philip is great with the kids. Puts them at ease - has a great laugh with them and gets to know them a bit to figure out what poses will suit them. Vicky is superb too. Always so helpful with the organisation beforehand and brilliant with the presentation of the pics and aftercare bit too. A real ‘family’ business and this comes across - I wouldn’t use another company for any pics I want. I live over an hour away from them but totally worth the journeys - fab pics every time. As much as I hate having my photos taken, I couldnt thank Vicky and Phil enough for such a relaxed experience on a family photoshoot. (Including the two kids) The shoot itself was such fun and Phil managed to get such beautiful photos of the whole family. The baby smiled his way through and the 3 year old has discovered a new love of the camera. Our viewing with Vicky was also so professional. Just picked all of our photos from our wedding and we're so pleased. Phill captured the magic of our day and has given us photos we can treasure forever. He put us at ease on the day and made it so enjoyable. He has edited the photos so that we have a range of black and white and colours. I have recommended him to so many. We booked a voucher from a website link for the photo sitting, but wasn't expecting much as the voucher was so cheap - how wrong were we? !?
Vicky did most of the leg work getting us booked in (even though I was being a nightmare and kept changing times and days to try to fit the family in) - but she was superb - really friendly and accommodating. When we went for the shoot itself, Philip was awesome with our 5 year old. Really put her at ease and adapted his style to suit her sense of humour to get the best shots - which they were! Absolutely superb - we are so pleased with them.
Massive thank you to both Vicky and Philip - the whole thing was great and we will definitely be back to you next time anyone needs a pic - can't recommend highly enough! Book, book, book! More...

Couldn't be more impressed with Philip Charles Photography. My Mother in law bought us a voucher for a photographer as an xmas present so we could have a family photo shoot our new born Son. We booked our date for the session in April for the company to go bust. Philip Charles heard about the company and our situation and offered to take the voucher and do the do the family shoot for us. All he asked was for us to purchase 1 photo which obviously was the whole point in the shoot. Our Son cried 95% of the time we were there but Phil was amazing with him and from the photos you would never have guessed our Son wasn't happy. Not 1 bad photo. £800 pound later in photos I think screams volume with how impressed we were. Will definitely be back in the future for sure. More...

My partner and I were treated to the very generous gift of a family photo shoot by my lovely auntie. Neither of us are natural models! !! So we were both apprehensive, but were made to feel so relaxed and comfortable that we really enjoyed the experience. I was genuinely close to tears when we went to see our photos, as they were just beautiful and captured our baby boy's cheeky nature perfectly. I was lucky enough to win a 20" canvas and family photo shoot here at Philip Charles Photography I decided I wanted a photo of my fabulous grandbabies as we've never succeeded in getting a decent photograph of all of them. Me my hubby and our 6 grandkids all age 5 and under went along last week I thought the photographer has got his work cut out with us, but the kids were great the photographer was brilliant with them, and today I went back to view, amazing. We had a lovely experience during our photo shoot at Philip Charles Photography. I initially spoke to Vicky over the phone to book our shoot, she was very friendly and I got an instant good feeling!

Phil made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked through the door with our baby and pet chihuahua. He was very friendly and chatty throughout. He also had a lot of experience with kids being a dad himself, so understood when I had to stop to feed our baby half way through. We couldn't wait to see our photographs the following week!

When we returned, Vicky again was very chatty and friendly. We were so pleased with all of our photos and there was no pressure to buy, but she was very helpful and informative in helping us choose what we wanted.

We cannot wait to pick up our photographs!

Just had my viewing of a photoshoot of my 6yr old and 4yr old. Phil was amazing with the kids throughout the photoshoot and the photos are absolutely beautiful! No tears or tantrums just lots of fun! My partner and I brought our four week old daughter for a photo shoot today and I honestly could not be happier with the experience.
Philip and Vicky were so welcoming and the room was perfectly heated so our little girl didn’t get cold! I would 100% recommend, we can’t wait to see our finished pictures and to come back for another shoot with our family!!

We have never had a family Photoshoot before due too personal family matters, but in January we had our very first photoshoot with me and my children all together and it was brilliant. A very special moment for me. Our recent family shoot was fantastic. We were made to feel so at ease and relaxed throughout. Being a dad himself, Phil was so patient with our mischievous boys and really took his time to capture some beautiful pictures. We returned the following week to view our photos with Vicky.....? they were all stunning!!! This made it so difficult to choose our favourite ones! Vicky was great as she made us aware of all our options and guided us through our choices without being pushy at all! She was so understanding of our budget too! Me and my family went to Philip charles twice last year, once just me and my two sons then again for a family portrait for my mum's Christmas present. They are amazing and very good with the kids. When it came 2 picking out photos vicki wasn't pushy at all with them, she let us take our time to make sure we got what we wanted. I would really recommend them. Phil was our wedding photographer and now we only go to him for all our family photos. He is by far the best photographer I have ever met. On our last family visit we were so relaxed the photos look amazing. He has lots of wonderful ideas to make sure the kids are smiling which is always a bonus when looking for the perfect family photo. Our wedding photos were simply beautiful and the perfect way to remember our special day we even got a dvd of all our images to watch. We had never had a family portrait and when I saw the offer on Groupon I jumped at the chance!I have anxiety and worry about everything but as soon as we walked into the studio I was at ease the photographer even managed to get a couple of smiles out of my grumpy 15 yo son!
