What do you love most about your job?
I love making a difference for people and helping them to transform their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a pragmatic and straight forward type of coach who loves to get results and make a difference. I discovered the power of coaching while working as a young shift production manager many years ago at Philips Electronics. At the time I had very limited technical knowledge of a complex production area and was therefore forced to ask my teams questions that helped them to think of their own solutions, rather than telling them what to do. This approach (coaching) transformed the performance, mindset and beliefs of the teams on my shift. So began my absolute belief in the power of coaching. Ultimately after several other senior leadership roles I moved into learning and development and trained as a professional coach to follow this passion.

In addition I have spent a lot of my life in the outdoors and have a love of the natural environment. As a consequence I have a real interest in the future of the planet and offer a percentage of my time either free or at reduced rates (pro bono) for coaching key individuals in environmental charities.
