We have been spoiling small dogs since 2014. We offer personalized daycare & custom sleepovers for small dogs and their owners. Our newest service, the Urban Dog Lounge & Snack Bar is a first in Halifax. Come in with your pet for one-hour playdates and enjoy a safe play environment or themed event and you can purchase a Dog Beer for your pup to enjoy!

I am so impressed with PUP. The staff are incredible! I have been to different dog day cares and this is by far the friendliest and most welcoming. Cindy is fast to answer any questions I send over email and Nikki and Joe are so accommodating when we drop off our pup. Wow! What a great experience we had with PUP. It totally exceeded all of our expectations from the first phone call to picking up Luke after his sleepover. How lucky are we to have this service in Halifax! I was totally jealous of Luke's "vacation" while we were on vacation - so many walks, cuddles, new friends and he was clearly loved 110% while we were away. Nikki was amazing - answered all my questions (as a new dog owner, first-time using PUP services) and I felt so comfortable leaving Luke in her care. He was treated like a King and we received regular updates, photos and videos to make us feel at ease (and a little jealous of his awesome adventure!). Thank you Nikki for taking care of our Luke - we really appreciate the thoughtfulness, love and attention he received at PUP! Dakota loves going to daycare, everyone there is fantastic! Thanks Cindy and Nikki for always treating my boy so well! I would also recommend the doggy sleepover, Dakota had so much fun and they gave us plenty of updates while we were gone :) we felt comfortable leaving him with Nikki.

Great place! It's clean and bright, and Cindy, Nikki, Francis, and Markie are all great with the dogs! Our dogs don't want to leave at the end of the day, they've made so many friends (dog and human). Highly recommended!

I travel to Nova Scotia on a regular basis and was really pleased to find Petite Urban Pooch, as I needed care for my Laci. She is a papillon with particular tastes and she warmed up to Cindy right away. I appreciate the flexible service and " can do" attitude to meet our needs. Morgan is fantastic. She's professional, understanding and passionate about her work. She understands dog behaviours and she gets to know every dog individually.
The facility is always clean and your dog never gets lost in the shuffle. I'd recommend PUP to any small dog owners looking for daycare. I'd trust Morgan with my dogs any day!

Cindy is an absolute life saver! After having to cancel previous reservations (elsewhere) for my 3 pups for the Holidays at the last minute, Cindy was incredibly kind and helpful. Dieter has been going to PUP for 2 months now and he is loving it! Having never been around dogs much, I didn't think he'd last his first day but he adjusted quickly and Cindy and Nikki are amazing with him. I recently left my little Bosco with Cindy while on vacation for a week. She was so good with him (and me, as it was hard leaving �). I liked the way she allowed him to snuggle on her bed and sofa, making him feel right at home! Updates and photos were sent to me throughout the week, and were greatly appreciated. Bosco can be clingy at times, but Cindy and her daughter Markie were amazing with him, allowing him to be on their lap or beside them when need be. They even took him to the Dog Expo!! Even though he was excited to see me, he turned to Cindy wanting to get back in her arms for another moment which told me he felt lots of love during his stay. Bella and Blue have been living the "PUP life" for over two years now! In fact, they love it so much, that they decided an in-home sleep-over with Cindy and Nikki was needed while mom and dad went on a 10-day vacation!
I knew we had no worries the night before our flight left because Nikki stayed at our house and Bella SLEPT WITH HER INSTEAD OF US! The only thing I worried about while we were away is whether the dogs would wonder why we were back so soon when we came home ..lol
Thank you, Cindy and Nikki, for taking care of and loving Bella and Blue the way you do! The pictures you sent on a regular basis while we were gone was a nice touch, too! It certainly added to the good time we had away knowing they were in such good hands in their very own home!

Can't say enough positive things about Cindy and NIkki.... I think they both make you feel like YOUR dog is their favorite. ..but I know in my heart they are ALL their favorites. I always feel like Max is loved and cared for and protected - just as we would do. We have left Max with Cindy overnight as well - and never a worry! We love PUP....highly highly recommend. More...
