We have just returned from a mini cruise to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday - I managed to carry the fantastic cake made by Jane on board the ship without him sussing what it was (? !) It was a really fabulous cake specially made in the shape of the Nikon camera he usually uses (he's a professional photographer). He was absolutely delighted on Sunday when we presented it to him and it certainly tastes as good as it looks! What do you love most about your job?
Each cake is individual to my clients, so where asked to make replica of a cake already designed I will tweak the design! , but try and keep within the original design.
Being creative is what Petite Cakes is all about.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having made all my children’s and friends birthday cakes and then asked to make several wedding cakes inspired me to start up Truly Scrumptious Cakes which has now been rebranded in Petite Cakes by Jane. Not everyone wants a large cake these days so I now make miniature cakes in 4” sponge.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer a varied selection of cakes , cookies and brownies. Each order is baked specifically for my clients.
We aim to produce a cake within clients requirements and budgets.
