I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dogwalking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. Fantastic service! Very reliable, easy to book, quick response, very safe and most importantly they took excellent care of Gabby! We live in Takoma Park. One weekend, we need it to go away and did not a pet sitter for Gabby (beagle mix). After reading the reviews, I decided to contact Chris. Within 24 hours I was all set. I met with the walker, she came to the house and meet Gabby and the whole family. Gabby is very peculiar (she does not trust everyone) and as soon as she met the walker, she loved her! I have used Peticular Charm twice for pet sitting at home and in both occasions everything was perfect. They sent me texts throughout the day, to give me an update of how gabby was doing! Chris is great! He took over walking our dog, Arlo, when our previous beloved dog walker moved to another state, and the transition was seamless.  From the beginning, communication with Chris has been excellent. He had an extensive meet-and-greet with Arlo, as well as a test walk so that Arlo could get to know him and the other dogs. The Peticular Charm Pet Care is by far the greatest group of people who are trustworthy and truly love dogs. My dog Margie my fur baby is a rescue. She is very tentative around men. Daniel our dog walker was able to gain Marges' trust and immediately it was a match made in heaven. The walks are affordable, fun for the pups and always there to help with a smile. Chris and his team have been taking great care of our goldendoodle for the past 8 months - I don't know what I'd do without them! We started with Peticular Charm when our pup was just 10 weeks old. I was really nervous about it, but Chris came by himself to explain how everything was going to work. He has always been very responsive and helpful - when one of his walkers had an emergency and didn't show up, he immediately went over to our apartment and walked our pup himself. Now we've moved to a new place and have a new Peticular Charm walker - and I have no worries at all! Using this service has given me great peace of mind. Chris and his team have been watching my dog and occasionally my cat for almost three years. Chris is great with responding to texts and emails and his team always takes my pup out for nice walks!  The thing that really impressed me about Chris was how helpful he was in our time of need. When my wife went into labor, he was able to pick up my dog and take care of her at a moments notice. While we planned this ahead of time, it was an unscheduled moment of need and to have Chris take my dog in while we were in the hospital gave me tremendous peace of mind. More...

We've been very happy with Chris and his team. They are on time and reliable.  They are also flexible for scheduling changes.  I like how they use the petcheck app to monitor and track the dog's walks.  They are friendly to our dog and treat him well (even if our dog can be a little stinker sometimes).  The rates are competitive and affordable.  We'd definitely recommend his team! Chris and DJ was were great to communicate with and very professional. While we were on a weekend trip. DJ took great care of our 2 cats, getting to know them and spending time with our cats as if they were his own. We have used peticular  pet care to both walk our dogs and house sit. We trust them with a key to our house. They also use this cool app to check in, so you know when they've stopped by.   Our dogs love them and so do we!

I have only good things to say about Peticular Charm Pet Care and Chris. For months, my significant other and I had been looking for a new dog walker for our two high energy pups, Luna and Atlas. It seemed like every dog walking service in the Capitol Hill area was either too expensive or could not assure us that our dogs would have one consistent walker. Then, out of the blue, along came Chris! I saw the Peticular Charm website, called Chris, and set up an appointment for him to come meet the dogs. The dogs loved him instantly, and that was that. Since hiring Chris about a month ago, he has also stayed in our home to pet sit for over a week. He was completely flexible, even though we booked the stay last minute. Chris is the very best. He walked our puppy daily from the time she was 8 weeks old, and she loves him like he is a member of our family. She has stayed with Chris multiple times when we have been out of town, and he even took her to Thanksgiving dinner with his family so she wouldn't be alone.  After a traumatic experience with another dog sitter, Chris is the only person we trust to sit for her when we are out of town.
