What kind of accounting services do you provide?
I can assist you with bookkeeping services. Work can be carried out as a one-off or a on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis as suits your requirements.
If you have manual accounts, I can keep these for you. If you wish, I can create an automated version of your accounts and maintain these, giving you regular reports and updates. If you are already using an accounts package, but need assistance, I can help.
My services include:
Day to day business transactions - invoicing, registering payments, expenses etc.
Maintaining your ledgers.
Bank reconciliation - making sure there are no unexplained outgoings from your business.
VAT returns - these can be submitted automatically for you.
CIS tax assistance - assistance for subcontractors in the construction industry.
Profit and loss account preparation - submission and liaison with an accountant if necessary.
Assistance with year-end account preparation.
A full payroll mangement service - Payslips, P45s, P60s, payment summaries, RTI (Real Time Information) etc.
Self assessment (individuals, self-employed, partnerships, landlords etc).

You do not have to worry about meeting HMRC deadlines and reporting, as I will take care of this for you or help you with this.

I like to be able to help other small businesses and other sole traders. After all, that is what I am too!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked as a sole trader for 16 years and have worked for many different types of business in that time.

Yes I can provide services online and remotely. I use QuickBooks and Xero, and you can scan and email over documents or send in the post.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Clients are welcome to drop off documents as and when necessary. Arrangements can be made to do this safely. Meetings can be virtual or by telephone.
