I offer architectural design services based in Newquay, covering Cornwall.
My services range from initial design ideas and feasibility assessments through to obtaining planning permission and Building Regulations.
I enjoy working on a range of projects from extensions, loft conversions and refurbishments to individual new builds, multiple housing developments and commercial projects.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most garages are suitable for conversion provided that the floor level is at least 100mm below the house floor level

Insulation and stud/block walls.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
You need minimum 2m head clearance! bear in mind the revised thermal bridging regulations - you will probably lose 10cm from the existing rafters

What’s your interior design process?
It is largely up to the client. whilst i can produce detailed images of specific furniture and lighting scenarios, it is generally more cost effective to do this yourself.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping people create their dream space, this can be a simple extension , re-modeling of an existing house or a new build . The important thing is that it is your project and I am here to help you make it a reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I studied Spatial Design at Uni. Then i worked for an architectural practice that considered appearance above functionality. when I went solo I kept the philosophy of good design but integrated the functionality, interior and garden elements.

I listen to my clients and create solutions to meet their briefs!
I do not try to make every building an award winner.
For me the enjoyment is meeting my clients brief!
