I just got off the phone with Pet Peeps after inquiring about my reactive German Shepherd and had the most incredible conversation. Gus walked me through options and helped me address all my needs regarding my not so sweet lady. I have a lot of confidence in his recommendation and opinions. For the past three years I have done A LOT for my dog, driven many miles, jumped through many hoops, and talked many folk's ears off. However in the 15 minute conversation I had with Mr. Elfving, I have never felt more heard, or understood. For the first time in 3 years I felt "helped" and I genuinely appreciate it. DO NOT SKIP THIS REVIEW: As a pet parent - communication is vital to me. I spoke with Gus on the phone, he assisted me with questions, concerns, and thoughts I had. Gus and his amazing staff have been petsitting our three cats for over four years now, taking care of all of their food, water, and cat litter needs- as well as making time to play and interact with them during their visits. Signing up for the service was easy- after a quick house visit with Gus, the owner, we exchanged keys, and from that point on, were easily able to book an appointment on their website. In addition, once the appointment was set and we were away from our home, Gus and our assigned sitters were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we had, and were more than happy to send us daily photos and videos of our cats or to accommodate last minute requests or detailed instructions. Whether we were away from our home for a 1 day getaway or a 10 day vacation, it was extremely comforting to know that our cats were well cared for, interacted with, and and well taken care of. I had the distinct pleasure of having Gus and his wonderful team help provide an amazing life to my rescue dog, Mabel Louise since 2009. Mabel Louise was a puppy mill rescue dog that I adopted from Washington Animal Rescue League. Due to my hectic work schedule throughout the course of my career, Gus and his team were able to jump in to take care of Mabel on a weekly basis; from either constant walks, the occasional sleep over at my place due to my flight either being canceled or delayed.etc. Gus and his team are dedicated to their profession and I see them as an extension of my family with Mabel Louise. Not a good company. They sent my aunt a unit cracked straight out of the box. She wanted to put one outside and leave one inside. She lives in an apartment and made it clear it had to be wireless as she cannot use a wired unit in the apartment complex she lives in. She is 73 and they told her this is what she needed. Once we came over to look at it. My husband found the crack in the unit and told her the wire couldnt be removed for the outside installation. She called them and described the issue. They will NOT refund your purchase. They say it is AGAINST the law.... They are shady and a scam. I will make sure everyone I know understands to never buy from this company. More...

My wife and I have been using Pet Peeps for a little over 4 years. Our life situation has changed multiple times, sometimes necessitating 2 walks a day, 1 walk a day, or just sporadic ones now that I work from home. We had their month-to-month option for one walk a day for about 3 years straight. But Pet Peeps was always there for us, dealing with emergency changes in our schedule and always providing quality walkers that seemed to care for our pups. The walkers often can sometimes offer fresh viewpoints on problems you might be having with your dogs, so I try and chat with the walkers from time to time. I used Gus and his team (Eddie!) to walk my senior dog after moving to DC in summer 2018. I was referred by a friend who is also one of their long time customers. Pet Peeps is great! We've used them for years, and their level of attention and care has only improved with time. In particular, Gus and his sitters went above and beyond recently when our plumbing malfunctioned, flooding our house while we were away. The sitter and Gus got the water turned off and did their best to mop up water, and helped letting in the remediation company. They also continued to come to everyday to feed our two very scared cats, who had hidden themselves during the flood and the work by the remediation crew. We've been using Pet Peeps for over a year, and now we can never use another dog walking service, because our dog Cliff (and my husband and I) have become too attached our walker, Dennis! He's both walked our dog, and boarded him. Our dog is a bit of a problem child (100 lbs and doesn't get along with other dogs), but Dennis and Pet Peeps have always come through with a walk for him. Normally Cliff gets distressed about being boarded, but when he stayed with Dennis while we were on vacation, he didn't seem ready to come home! I especially love seeing the notes from his walk, or pics from when he's boarded - our dog is a member of our family, so its great to be able to see how well he's taken care of when we're gone!
