I have been going to Personal Level Fitness for over three years and my experience has been great! I have achieved my goal of increasing my weight and strength. The trainers are always friendly and knowledgeable. PLF is a comprehensive approach to fitness; beyond the work outs we always talk nutrition. I often underestimate what I can do, so it is great to have the trainer there to push me. I highly recommend Personal Level for anyone who may be intimidated about the idea of working out at a big gym. More...

Personal Level Fitness is made for anyone who doesn’t want the big gym experience or is easily intimidated by others. The trainers customize each workout to my needs especially when I’ve had some soreness. Also the clients are welcoming and friendly so it makes it easy to strike up a conversation. I have been going to PLF for about a year and a half. I have had a FANTASTIC experience with them. When I started there, I was 6 months out of chemo/radiation therapy for breast cancer. I had no energy, I had constant fatigue, and had gained a lot of weight due to the steroids and lack of activity. They got me motivated to get up and moving and get back to my old self. After 6 months, I had a ton of energy, had healthier eating habits, and a consistent exercise regimen. The nutrition counseling is fantastic. They don't want you on any fad diets; they want you to live a healthy lifestyle. After 18 months, I have gained a LOT of muscle, I went from only being able to do 5 push-ups to over 20 and I went from a bench press of 60 lbs. to 100 lbs. I have better flexibility, more muscle, and less fat. The owner is honest and hardworking. Alex has a passion for health and fitness and will work with you one on one to achieve your health and fitness goals. She won't just talk about your diet, she looks at your whole being - are you sleeping enough, managing your stress, etc. The fitness assessments are a wonderful way to track your progress. You can actually see your shape change with their Styku system. They will tell you how much muscle you gain and how much fat you lose, where you've lost inches and how much, and measurable results to show you how much stronger you're getting. And the trainers... They're amazing! They take a genuine interest in your well-being and want to see you succeed! They hold you accountable with your eating habits, push you to your absolute limits in their workout sessions, and even mail you notes of encouragement! I've been going to Personal Level Fitness now for just shy of a year, and I can't see a time when it's not part of my weekly routine. I feel in better shape than I've been in years, and I love the accountability it gives me. I work full time and was finding it hard to motivate myself to workout and stay in shape. I have been a member at PLF for nearly three years. When I joined at the age of 48, I felt much older than my age. Now - almost 51, I don't feel my age at all. I am much stronger, slimmer, with significantly improved fitness and increased endurance. They work with me to keep me motivated and accountable. The trainers are qualified, professional and pleasant to work with. The facility is clean and the service is friendly, individualized and truly personal. I found Personal Level Fitness on Google after searching for personal trainers near Upper Arlington. I was so happy they offered one free session to try it out. I went and was hooked. For me, the keys to PLF is having the appointment and building relationships with the trainers. I was having a hard time motivating myself to workout, but when I schedule an appointment and know my trainers are rooting for me, I don’t cancel. I build time into my schedule for me. Great place to get healthy! Trainers are great and very encouraging. They have private suites so I get all the attention I need, since I am new to lifting. I have been doing it for just a few weeks and feel better already. They very caring to my needs and health concerns. More...

I have been at Personal Level Fitness for almost two years. I have lost over 35 pounds and am in so much better shape than when I started. Because I need to set weekly physical and nutritional goals plus long time ones, I feel that I am encouraged to set ones that are attainable, versus ones that are too general, ones that are not measurable, or ones that are just too grand to be even possible. All the instructors show me exactly how to do each exercise, and then they pay attention to every single rep and correct me if I am am not doing it correctly. We rotate through upper body, lower body, and an overall workout each week. I also do core exercises every single time which I have found to be invaluable. I have a torn rotator cuff, and each of the trainers knows this and designs workouts to strengthen and still protect that shoulder. The amount of knowledge that I have learned about nutrition far surpasses any that I have received at other work out facilities. I feel that even though it is a bit expensive, I have gotten fabulous returns on the money I have spent. More...

I love Personal Level Fitness. The owners and trainers are at the top of the scale. Individual rooms workout rooms for more privacy during training, and trainers rotate based on schedule which increases the variety. I went into the place for a quick look, spent a week on a trial basis, and walked out 7 days later with a package. And, I am so happy I did!!! More...

I've been a client for almost 3 years, from the start I got onto a 3 times a week schedule and have stuck with it ever since. My goal has been to feel better, and firming up along the way has been a wonderful side benefit. The trainers are all knowledgeable, attentive and fun to be around. There is a recipe of the week, healthy tips on the white board and always a crew of clients to help the treadmill time fly by. I've found a workout home here. More...

I'm a 10 year customer after years at the big fitness places. What I love: Trainers are well trained by the owner prividing a consistent, professional and well planned workout no matter who you work with. You can stick with one trainer or rotate, which I do, providing more variety. They pay close attention to your form to maximize benefit as the body akways wants to "cheat". They focus as nuch on nutrition as exercise. I have a rotator cuff injury they carefully work around. The crew feels like family now. Good return on investment! More...
