Having just joined the Warehouse Health Club, Michelle did my induction and showed me about. She is extremely knowledgeable and showed all the endless possibilities that the equipment provides and makes it very inspiring. She noted down my weight and body fat and showed me where I was in the range and suggested to reduce my body % fat rather than focusing on the number on the scales. Just had my first PT session with Michelle tonight and although I am sore and exhausted but I now feel more motivated and eager to get in the best shape. She put me through a variety of exercises which targeted my legs, back and shoulders and knew when to push me. I have worked with Michelle twice over the past 7 years and just started training again with her last night! 1st session back after 4 years (& 2 kids! ) and I found that she is just as awesome as she was before! I started training with Michelle in 2012 in advance of a ski expedition in 2013. From the outset, with the initial assessment session, objective setting and diet advice you get from Michelle you know that the training is going to be done professionally. For training to be successful you have to make the commitment and you will get the commitment and motivation from Michelle. No Fads or buzz words/latest fashions, just sensible advice and guidance (making sure form is right to avoid injuries) and a good push to go further when it gets tough. For training to be successful you have to make the effort and having a trainer means no excuses. Working with Michelle you’ll be training with an experienced professional (25+ years) and your commitment and effort will pay off with her help. I have kept up the training with Michelle for subsequent trips and just maintenance of fitness. I come back because I know with Michelle's help I can get results. I've done a couple of serious trips now with Michelles help and these have been alot tougher than 2013!! I would wholeheartedly recommend Michelle to anyone considering engaging a Personal Trainer. Over the past month and a half, I have trained with Michelle to get my strength up and since then I have defiantly got more muscle and strength, especially on my upper half. Since training with Michelle I feel that she has changed my life for the better in such a short amount of time and has given me the knowledge and tools to train correctly, therefore, increasing my confidence both inside and out of the gym! This is my wife....I have been training with Michelle for a little while and although she works me hard, the encouragement I get makes me want to try harder. It's her gentle way of "just one more set" that really encourages me. I am stronger, fitter and slimmer. Michelle's knowledge is excellent and she Isabelle to advise on diet and fitness in a way that is easy to understand and appreciate.

I have found her to be an excellent and knowledgeable trainer who pushes you to achieve the best you can and to reach your goals. The training is varied and tailored to what you wish to achieve. Q&As

First thing is to determine what the Clients actual goals are. The Clients own level of commitment is what is ultimately going to determine the results which can be obtained. I strive to make sure that every workout with a Client is progressive and is focused on achieving the Clients objective.
I record every workout with a Client and think this is important to be able to demonstrate the progress that is being made. Frequent weight and bodyfat percentage checks are carried out, along with monitoring of a food diary which I ask my Clients to keep. That way we can make adjustments to the programme and nutrition plan to keep results coming.

Rome wasn't built in a day! And neither is a great body. Clients have a wide variety of reasons for wanting to work with a Personal Trainer and its important to realise what the Clients actual expectation is. With your determination and my experience you can expect to get to where you want to be.
It is all about consistency. Regular attention and commitment to exercise, along with diligent focused effort on the nutrition side of things is what will get you the results you want.

I love to see the progress made with Clients and to know that I have made a difference to that. Very satisfying.

I have always been into fitness for as long as I can remember. It seemed a natural thing to do something I was interested in and make a career out of it.

25 years experience as a Personal Trainer working with all age groups from 18-78. Vastly differing fitness levels and abilities.
As well as working with Clients who are looking to lose weight and shape up, I have also worked with Clients with various differing requirements. Some of these have been ranging from Clients with Heart Disease, Diabetes, Arthritis, Anxiety and Depression, Mental Health Problems, Paralysis, Stroke and also some of which have worked with me after injury.
No two clients are ever the same and I aim to work with each person as an individual with their own individual requirements and tolerance to exercise.
