Peoples Flowers

My experience with Peoples Flowers was amazing! My daughter plays high school volleyball and her team was having senior night. As a thank you we wanted to get a bouquet of flowers to each young lady. We had placed an order with another flower shop. The morning of the event they called and backed out. As you can imagine this was stressful and frustrating. I then got on the phone and made some calls. After numerous calls to different stores, I then spoke with Debbie from Peoples Flowers. I told her the situation. She without hesitation said we will have the bouquets ready for you. What time would you like to pick them up? That was music to my ears. Not only did they complete the order, but they donated the bouquets free of charge. THANK YOU for making this happen! My experience with People's Flower Shop was amazing. I ordered online and their website was simple to navigate. After placing the order I called to confirm everything and the lady I spoke with was super helpful. The flowers were delivered to a restaurant ahead of our reservation. When they were brought out my wife was speechless. I have bought her many arrangements over the years and she said they are one of, if not the prettiest, arrangement she's gotten. Peoples flowers has been around now for almost 80 years. I remember as a child going into the downtown store with my mother and I remember smelling the flowers and sometimes helping my mother pick the ones she'd place on our kitchen table. I never stopped coming to peoples flowers for my business and I started going to the candelaria location and I must say it's just a treat! The girls upfront are always so friendly and professional and it makes me happy to see such young girls who are so knowledgable and willing to help with any and all questions.Quality quality quality! I have never seen such lovely flowers, and such variety! The girls always know whats freshest and are more than willing to get something out of the back if they know it's back there. This is the first time posting a review and let me say it is so worth it! I had to sit here and read a few of the reviews before posting mine, and I am so sad to see so many people going out of their way to write negative reviews - and for what? Discounts? Something free? All I want to say is there is no need for such negativity, because these girls are so friendly and amazing and go above and beyond for me no matter the day. It's so sad to see such negativity in people. I live on the east coast and I called their shop at 6am (their time) and left a voicemail for same day delivery, they don’t open until 8am. I decided to go online and order which I never do- it’s always a nightmare. I ordered the flowers with the wrong delivery address and I noted to be delivered before 4pm. I found out the correct address and called and left a voicemail with my order number and by 1230p (abq time) my friend had the flowers and she was over the moon!! A native Albuquerque now residing in San Diego, the other flower shop never delivered the flowers to a family member who had a procedure I could not be tnere for physically.
