We booked David for our event with only a few days notice, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Despite his busy schedule, he was able to accommodate us and was extremely easy to communicate with. His pricing was very competitive, offering great value for his excellent service. David was a pro at the event. He managed to get the best shots without being intrusive, maintaining a fun atmosphere during group photos. This balance of professionalism and approachability was noted and appreciated by many of our guests. His quick turnaround in providing the photos in various formats post-event was impressive. We hired David for a 2 hour shoot at Marylebone Town Hall. David was fantastic - he was punctual and was able to make us and our guests feel at ease while he snapped away. We recently planned a fairly last minute, low key afternoon church wedding and asked David to capture our day and with his creative style it looks like we planned the most exquisite day down to the finest detail. He provided us with an incredible amount of pictures and they are all truly wonderful. The slide show to music that is included in the package is really something very special to treasure. From the first contact I knew I had made the right choice on photographer. I felt David understood us and our take on a relaxed, low key wedding perfectly. I was immediately at ease talking with him on the phone and as soon as I met met him on the day I was instantly relaxed. We can't believe how he managed to capture so many shots in so many different places seemingly all at the same time! A guest even commented 'where did you find this guy, he is brilliant'. The images are incredible and have far exceeded expectionations. From our initial conversation with David we knew he would be brilliant. He listened to all our ideas, made loads of helpful suggestions, had lots of local knowledge around the venue and good spots for photos, and filled us with confidence. On the day he was superb - he was chatty and friendly with our guests, made everyone feel very at ease and expertly arranged the group shots. He somehow managed to be everywhere at once and capture every moment of the day while also being completely unobtrusive and blending into the background. We had Big Day Weddings for our wedding photographers. We really recommend David and Joanna! We had an initial call with David and we really enjoyed his relaxed but professional approach. We then had an engagement shoot with him a couple of months before which was really fun and made the actual photography on the wedding day feel much easier and more natural! On the wedding day they did a brilliant job throughout, and David was great engaging with our guests and making them laugh which made for such happy photos! Having looked at a range of photos by photographers around the London area, Big Day Weddings really stood out for us. We loved the colours, the style and the artistic nature of the images they captured. We didn't want to miss out on anything during the day and didn't like the idea of standing for fussy formal photos when there was so much fizz to get back for!!! Their more relaxed but professional style really suited us.Jo and David were absolutely amazing throughout the day and leading up to it. After trawling through dozens of photographers for our wedding, we chose David and Joanna and were not disappointed. We were attracted by their style and the bonus of having two photographers to ensure all angles were covered. We booked David and Joanna immediately after our first phone call enquiry - there was no need to keep looking.

David’s humour as well as knowledge and professionalism made us feel at ease. We felt that David’s relaxed and humorous personality suited our personalities and that of our family and friends. We wanted a relaxed, family atmosphere and felt David and Joanna would suit that perfectly.
We had an amazing engagement shoot at Alexander Palace. David gave us valuable tips for taking the perfect shot which we used on our wedding day. The photos were beautiful!

Communication with David and Joanna was excellent. We had a call with David before the wedding to discuss all details of the day including the schedule and any specific shots we wanted. David brought up things about the day that we hadn’t even considered which helped us to make sure our day ran smoothly (we’ve never planned a wedding before so it was great to get insight from someone who has been to so many!).

On the wedding day, David and Joanna didn’t disappoint. They were professional, timely and brought their humour and friendly personalities. When appropriate e.g. during the service, David and Joanna were discreet and nonintrusive. When needed, David and Joanna did a great job of rounding up family and directing group shots. After trawling through dozens of photographers for our wedding, we chose David and Joanna and were not disappointed. We were attracted by their style and the bonus of having two photographers to ensure all angles were covered. We booked David and Joanna immediately after our first phone call enquiry - there was no need to keep looking.

David’s humour as well as knowledge and professionalism made us feel at ease. We felt that David’s relaxed and humorous personality suited our personalities and that of our family and friends. We wanted a relaxed, family atmosphere and felt David and Joanna would suit that perfectly.
We had an amazing engagement shoot at Alexander Palace. David gave us valuable tips for taking the perfect shot which we used on our wedding day. The photos were beautiful!

Communication with David and Joanna was excellent. We had a call with David before the wedding to discuss all details of the day including the schedule and any specific shots we wanted. David brought up things about the day that we hadn’t even considered which helped us to make sure our day ran smoothly (we’ve never planned a wedding before so it was great to get insight from someone who has been to so many!).

On the wedding day, David and Joanna didn’t disappoint. They were professional, timely and brought their humour and friendly personalities. When appropriate e.g. during the service, David and Joanna were discreet and nonintrusive. When needed, David and Joanna did a great job of rounding up family and directing group shots.
