2 years ago we had our drive done by this company and we were thrilled with it, before it was started we were assured that it would come with a 10 year guarantee and that their after care service was excellent.
Back in May this year the drive started to crack and lift so we called them to come and take a look, after many phone calls and a word from a neighbor who was thinking of using them they finally came out in June to assess the situation and agreed yes it needed sorting and wouldn't take much to do it and that they would call round in the next two weeks to put it right. It got to August with no sign of them so we started to call again, we had trouble getting them to answer our calls so finally resorted to using a phone where they wouldn't recognize the number, again they came back to reassess it and a man and a blow torch was sent round, it was so windy it wouldn't stay alight and so again we were told they would come in the next fortnight to sort it, again they broke their promise, except they did come round one day while we were out and dug up the edges of our drive without our consent, this we discovered was because they seen a 3 star review I had put on google, he was not pleased and he said if we took it down it would be sorted, we duly did as he asked, against our better judgement, halfway through September we wrote to them at the address on their paperwork and sent it special delivery, a few days later it was returned to us not known at this address. Just in case it was them playing up we drove to the address and sure enough their is a business there but no-one has heard of Penwood drives, is this even legal using false premises? Penwood have just installed 3 security posts on my driveway to help protect my vehicles and add additional security to my property. Absolutely pleased with the results. Exactly what I wanted. Cold, windy and pouring with rain all day but Penwood worked professionally and left everything clean and tidy. Couldn't be more happier with added peace of mind.
