Painting & Decorating company using the latest technology for sanding and dust free preparation which means your home won't get covered in dust whilst decoration is taking place. All the dust and mess is extracted with a dust extraction unit which we have invested in. The result is a highers standard of finish and a much cleaner job.

We shopped around for a decorator to paint our communal stairwell, and asked for quotes from several companies - very few traders even bothered to get back to us. But John at Pentland Painting phoned me back promptly, make arrangements to visit and gave us a comprehensive and reasonable quote. When the work started, they were polite, considerate, effective, thorough and the completed work is really great. It took a few days longer than expected because the weather changed which affected the drying time of the paint, but even though this was totally out of his control, John make sure I knew what the issue was and how much longer we might expect, which helped us plan and prepare. They were brilliant all-around and would recommend them to anyone - I actually enjoy coming home now because the place looks so excellent. I can't recommend them enough! More...

John and his team at Pentland were, in a word, excellent. We picked them to do our stairwell redecoration because of his care in explaining the work, his attention to detail, communicativeness, and forthrightness. This trust was borne out over the 3 weeks taken to do the job – much of the job was preparation – scraping, filling, sanding, priming, etc. He and his team never skimped on effort or time, always did was was required to do a top quality job, and did everything that his quote included. They were cheerful, positive, polite, always had time to answer questions, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, took the estimated time to completion, and had no trouble attending to what little persnickety touch-ups we requested. We could not be more pleased with the results, and are very happy to have chosen them from the 4 quotes we obtained. They were not the cheapest of the 4 quotes, but we feel they were (and so it proved) by far the best choice. Dustless or Dust Free sanding and preparation of surfaces for decoration.
Our dust free sanding & preparation service evacuates toxic sanding dust from the orbital sander via hoses to the extraction unit. We can use it on any surface that's got to be prepared with filler or plaster before painting and decorating.
Going dust free reduces the risk of Asthma attacks, and other possible allergic reactions to the dust created by conventional sanding methods. The extraction unit captures harmful dust produced from drywall sanding or any type of wall/surface sanding and allows home owners to be free from potential toxins at all times.
Another benefit is that adjoining rooms are unaffected by the circulation of dust – furniture, fragile artworks, or other household items aren’t cloaked in dust. The system also eliminates the need for you to clean up afterwards only for the dust to return an hour later which is a pet hate of many home owners who've had tradesman working in their homes.
