Penleys Caterers have 2 Cafe, Bar and Restaurants one in Leyburn and the other in Richmond North Yorkshire for a combined total of 13yrs.
We also specialise in outside catering events from BBQ's to corporate events to weddings.
Our services are unique in that we like to get to know the customer first and assess what their individual requirements are before putting together a bespoke package.

My husband and I (that makes us sound like members of the Royal Family, which we aren't!) had two first rate freshly made warm meat salads at Penleys and I had a delicious homemade soup with fresh, warm wholemeal rolls. All the food was tip-top. The only reason I'm docking a star is that I'm disabled. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a less disabled-friendly loo in my life. Up three flights of increasingly narrow stairs with barely adequate grab-rails, one false move and I'd have gone flying! There were no grab-rails by the loo or the wash basin, either - a bit tricky for us post-stroke types. Anyway, the food is cracking and very reasonably priced. Why a gem of a restaurant! Kids eat main evening meals free with a full paying adult. The carbonara and sweet chill salmon were absolutely delicious. Kids had the usual fayre of chicken nuggets and scampi. Ice cream and brownie and a fabulous Eton mess (with a white chocolate twist!) ended off the meal. The food was fantastic. Can highly recommend the Carbonara, that seemed to have a deconstructed look and feel to it. My wife had the steak and ale pie, containing chunks of steak and the largest chips I've ever seen, all cooked to perfection. The front of house girls were friendly and polite all the time.As for cleanliness, the place was spotless.The price was very reasonable, feeding my wife, my little lass and Mr for under £30.Overall: highly recommended.
