Hi we stayed here for 1 night for my husband's birthday & to do a bit of shopping as it is only 10/15 min walk from all shops & we went out around canal street at night we have stayed at this hotel before & chose to stay here again because of location & the hotel in general. ..... & hotel & rooms are clean & spacious the room we stayed in this time on 3rd floor was a bit small but didn't let that put us off....bed really comfortable & everything in room u need hairdryer..iron..fan..kettle.. & we enjoyed a meal in restaurant & also breakfast was very nice it was a buffet breakfast so leave hotel on a full stomach...would recommend this hotel all day long.....so hope to be back there again soon � More...

Stayed for just one night 27th March and wish it could have been longer. It is up there as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. the staff were ALL so lovely and helpful and very well turned out. Nothing but nothing was too much for any of them. The hotel was spotlessly clean and warm. Had a meal in the garden bar which was great and a cocktail before bed which was really lovely and well presented. I have to say one very small niggle was that you could feel the springs on the bed a mattress topper would rectify that no problem. All in all a great couple of days given us as a gift for Christmas by our daughter and son in law. Thanks to them. Oh and I forgot to mention breakfast more a question of what DIDNT they have not what did they have. Fantastic. Would I go there again mmmm let me think, errr deffo no doubt at all. Staying in the hotel for a hen weekend and all the Staff were lovely, very accommodating sorting us with drinks vouchers for the bar and a free round of shots. They booked all of our taxis for us so we didn't have to worry. Hotel was clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely and a different range of foods were offered so something for all. Really enjoyed my stay for my 1st time in Manchester I was warmly welcomed hotel room was clean and ample the food in the garden bar along with the staff was great including breakfast parking outside the hotel is limited but free from 8pm to 8am all in all nice place to stay thank you

We stayed here for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. A lovely hotel, not too far away from pubs and clubs and the city centre. The food was lovely, the breakfast was fab and the staff was really nice and helpful too . The room was lovely and the staff got us a Anniversary card with a ice bucket and glasses in the room she. Very handy location, 6 or 7 min walk from Piccadilly station. Based in one of UMIST’s old buildings it has a Foucault’s pendulum which is pretty cool. The staff on reception were really welcoming and friendly. We had a compact room which was exactly that! Teeny tiny room, but it had everything we needed for 1 night. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. TV, WiFi, tea/coffee, hairdryer and iron/ironing board as you’d expect. What more do you need!?! I suppose my only criticism would be the price, but all of the hotels in Manchester seemed really expensive when I looked so perhaps we picked a popular weekend to visit.

Stayed over for new years eve, room ample size and comfortable. Arrived early but no problem given drinks voucher for discount in the bar which were reasonably priced anyway. All staff really friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast to eat as out in the evening but was buffet style, really nice and constantly topped up. Will be back � More...

We came for a Christmas party last night which I won on Facebook. We had an amazing time. The venue was lovely - clean, bright and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We stayed her last night for the Xmas Market package. The hotel is lovely, the staff are extremely friendly .. a special shout out to the bar staff who were very funny and great fun even though we kept them up until late! Good location. Stayed overnight at the hotel last night, cannot fault the hotel or the staff. Lovely clean room (a little on the small side) but didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. Had an evening meal in the garden bar which was delicious!! Unfortunately we missed breakfast, but on checkout we were offered fresh tea/coffee and the lady that dealt with us both on check in and out was lovely, unfortunately we didn’t get her name though. Really friendly staff, quick check in. Clean rooms though a bit on the small side but fine for a one night stay. We stayed here last night as we went to the 02 apollo to see Gary Barlow. The hotel was great. The room clean and cosy with a comfortable bed . Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Stayed here last night as we were going to see Imagine Dragons at the arena (who were amazing by the way). The room was nice and cosy with everything you needed for a nights stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great fry up for breakfast as well. brilliant location, friendliest staff who couldn't do enough for you! the beds are really comfortable but the hilight of the stay was the meals. the 3 course dinner we had in the downstairs bar was amazing I had the tomato and basil soup then salmon pasta and to finish a fruit salad. every part of the meal was perfectly presented and the taste was beautiful. would definitely recommend staying and eating here. will definitely be back � More...

Both myself and my husband have enjoyed our stay at the pendulum , the staff were warm friendly and very welcoming , the hotel and room were just perfect for our needs, dining at the pendulum was fantastic, lovely food and great service, highly recommended and hopefully we will be returning soon

Friendly welcome, quality bedding and pillows, hot water and plenty of pressure for shower, lovely lunch, plenty of choice at breakfast, excellent price, equidistant walking distance from Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations, short walk to Canal street.....couldn't fault it!
