Lovely building and garden with unrivalled views to be had nearby. The self-service area of the tea room was a bit of a scrum on Mother's Day although once you got inside the service was actually very good and there were also plenty of tables available. I read some work is being done on the building so maybe this is a temporary side-effect. It would be nice if vegan cakes and biscuits were in evidence as well as gluten-free ones - though to be fair it's possible there were some there somewhere! More...

I was invited to celebrate the life of a lady called Ann Skelton - my Brother - in - Law’s mum who sadly passed away recently.

I had already found out Pembroke Lodge was used more as a wedding venue and as it was in the heart of Richmond Park, made an ideal setting as the Lodge was high up on the hill overlooking beautiful trees and greenery.

The building is almost like a stately home with period features and a very welcoming entrance and a number of rooms which have a number of rooms with sash windows overlooking the grounds, all with tables and chairs to relax in.

The staff were so friendly and were there to serve us and I have to say, they all provided such an excellent service.

We had food and drink on the table and a barman to serve us drinks. We were able to bring our own music on a CD which was played in one of the rooms. I have taken several photographs from inside the building and a few on the outside which I will add to this review when I have more time.

My five star rating is because everything was just so nice and I felt very relaxed during my afternoon / early evening stay.

Excellent venue for parties weddings and just for lunch .... food very fresh well cooked and staff / managers excel in their duties to be helpful and courteous.
Sunday roasts are delicious with a selection of mixed vegetables also the roast potatoes , they have vegetarian dish always available to suit all tastes and ages . I would suggest that there should be more deserts available as they run out always very quickly :(

A super place to bring the children ... child portions available. , have freshly baked scones and clouted cream served after 3pm usually —— then either a nice walk in the park or around the lodge grounds .
Prices are reasonable but certainly a must if you are in Richmond and hungry . Visit the Pembroke lodge and enjoy a fine lunch , snack or afternoon English tea

One thing I do recommend .... is that the car park needs reorganising , as there’s many pot holes and when Pembroke lodge / the Richmond park are busy , the parking is a bit erratic

We had our wedding reception at Pembroke Lodge last weekend and I honestly couldn’t recommend the venue and staff highly enough! When we first visited Pembroke Lodge we knew within minutes that it was our venue! From that very first contact right up until now, the service has been impeccable and Nelson and Jean have been absolutely amazing! Not only do they provide a 5* service but they try their absolute best to help with anything and everything - no matter how big or small! Our guests were blown away with the venue and Nelson was so professional on the day, keeping us relaxed and ensuring everything was on track. Not only do we love this venue but we really value the service we received and would recommend this venue to everyone!! Thank you so much Nelson and Jean, it was the perfect day Love, Jess & Charlie xxxx More...

We are just back from our Wedding and honeymoon bubble after celebrating our wedding day in the Russell Suites, Pembroke Lodge on the 19th October. Diana Showed us around in June & we were swiftly booked in for the necessary meetings with Nelson and food & wine tasting with Byron. All 3 meetings made us feel positive and excited about our big day. Many of our guests come with different dietary requirements & allergies, which were all effortlessly catered for. Diana was tiptop with her communications & swiftly responding to my endless questions. On the day itself, I arrived quite late; not intentional but this made me feel anxious. Byron was there to greet me & made me feel at ease with his warm, bubbly charm. Byron straightened my dress & train, showed my flower girl how to hold her bouquet, fixed the pageboys bow ties & placed his hands on my shoulders and told me to take deep breaths. I was a tad emotional just before the grand entrance. The rest of the day run like a dream. My guests were blown away with the food, which far exceeded our expectations. Bryon & the staff managed the day like clockwork. They are experts at coordinating weddings. His energy, charisma & power-packed enthusiasm is remarkable and faultless. A brilliant MC & always making sure myself, Tom & my guests were having a blast. All the staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes whilst we were all partying away. Byron was with us every single step of the way right up to getting into our taxis for departure. We cannot thank him & the staff enough. My guests are all a little bit in love with the mighty Byron and we love that he's in so many of our photos. Our gratitude is endless. Thank you for our perfectly, wonderful, magical, autumnal wedding day. We will be popping down this week to give a little token of our thanks and appreciation.

We always have something to eat there and spend some time to enjoy the view. And, sometimes, to watch the people gathered there for a special occasion. Saw several interesting hats last time. More...

Had a fabulous day celebrating the Wedding of Mark and Meghna Ebdon. Settings, staff and food first class. One criticism I think there ought to be lighting from the Lodge to the car park so dark. Perhaps this isn't you problem but the park in general. More...
