Not only is it great that Peak Conditioning and Fitness is locally owned and operated, but the owner and staff are knowledgeable and committed to the safety and success of their clients. Josh, the owner, is supportive and encouraging. He pushes you to test your limits while giving you the knowledge and technique to be able to do so effectively and safely. The community at this gym is unlike anything I have experienced before. You do not experience the "big-box gym" feeling of judgement or isolation. Everyone is supportive and encouraging. They cheer you on every step of the way, both clients and staff. I cannot recommend PCF highly enough. More...

I've been training with Josh at PCF for 2.5 years. Josh gets it. He is able to see capabilities in you that you are unable to see in yourself. He is able push you to be your best in a way that is empowering. He will create a program specifically for you and your goals and mixes it up so the workouts are never boring. If you are serious about your health and want to make fitness a lifestyle - visit PCF! More...

I am a long-time member of Peak Conditioning and Fitness. I started in 2016 and still train there 3 to 4 times per week (at least). I thoroughly enjoy attending, not just for the fitness, but Josh (local owner, trainer and military veteran) is great about understanding your fitness goals and how to meet them. He also is a good fitness educator and ensures you're doing certain exercises correctly so you don't hurt yourself or work the wrong muscle group. Additionally, the semi-private/group training are ideal because you meet new people, have fun and it's more cost effective than private lessons, and the groups are usually no more than six people. If you're concerned about judgement because you're out of shape, please don't. It's a judgement-free zone. Everyone who trains there is on their own journey and we support each other. I have become stronger, lost both fat and weight and am a healthier version of myself today than I was in early 2016. If you're wondering about your next fitness move and the goals you want to achieve, please check out Peak Conditioning and Fitness in Longmont, CO. More...

I am amazed at the beautiful and encouraging atmosphere here at Peak Conditioning. I went in feeling very self conscious and insecure and though I have not obtained my physical fitness goals yet I feel so much more confident that I can. The coaches are always so encouraging, motivating and determined on helping you achieve your goals. There is no other place that I would rather work out then here at Peak Conditioning! Thanks Josh, Sam and Krystyna for creating a wonderful atmosphere and for putting so much effort into helping others! More...

My experience was beyond amazing and beneficial at Peak Conditioning and Fitness. Josh and the rest of the crew there were more than supportive and helpful. Josh was very involved with every step of the process by making sure i had no questions and was comfortable with the exercises done at home, at the Gym and the food portion. Anytime i did have concerns my questions Josh did not wait long to answer them and he always responded with support facts (videos, articles, personal experience). If i did not have to leave Colorado i would have continued working with everyone there !!!!! More...

TL;DR, and no bull - Josh is giving me the tools and attention I need to save my life. My A1c was 13.9% in late December (for anyone who doesn’t speak diabetes, that’s doctor speak for “Why is your blood made of Pixie Stix? !”). I’m obese, I had serious depression and anxiety issues, and while
I like working out, athletic people never made me feel super comfortable in my past. But if someone who fits those same descriptions is reading this, then know that Josh is safe. He is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable (I have to tell my know-it-all self to shut up and listen sometimes, and it always pays off :)), kind, and energetic. I listened to him, I did what he asked, and my blood sugar got down to 7.7% in three months (doctor speak for “WTF how did you cut your numbers in HALF in three months ”). On top of that, my posture is better, I don’t need to nap for 2-3 hours in the afternoon anymore (unless I eat something stupid, and then that’s MY bad, isn’t it?), my depression is corralled, my anxiety is lessened, and I just feel so STRONG. Everyone’s metabolism and circumstances are different, so don’t come looking for miracles - I still have more work before the doctor will take me off my meds, I’m still obese (it’s only been 4.5 months as of right now), and I know I’ll have to keep up the hard work my whole life if I want to kick diabetes in the head forever - but in the end, if you are willing to put in the work, Josh will give you tools and help you build the habits you need to live. And he’ll be kind (but firm, don’t mess with him, and don’t be late!) in the process.

Working out with Josh for the past year at PCF has hands down been one of the best things I could have done for myself. Throughout the year my form and strength have improved, I feel healthier, well balanced and have learned a lot about myself and what I’m capable of.
Highly recommend this gym.
Always looking forward to the next workout!!!

I have had memberships at the bigger gyms in Longmont and they don’t compare to the service at Peak Conditioning. Josh and his team are top notch on making sure your form is correct and pushing you to reach your goals. I am stronger and leaner thanks to Josh and I continue to improve. The atmosphere is fun, focused, relaxed, and motivated. I not only enjoy the coaches, but my peers. I highly suggest this gym! More...

I have trained with Josh for more than 8 months. My experience in the gym has been absolutely amazing, and much beyond what I expected. I started out as a complete newbie, and over time I have gotten much more stronger, leaner and felt much better about things I could accomplish. I have seen my body push through some of the most difficult workouts with him, that I would have never imagined as a possibility. It was a downright rewarding experience, after each and every workout. Josh's training style is very unique. I didn't feel like I was in a gym just for the sake of being in a gym. Workouts are designed to be very playful and fun-filled. He spaced out exercises nicely, and every month he had a specific theme he worked on. Every month followed on to the next. He kept records of my performance and goals from the first day I joined right till the end. He was very meticulous about making sure I reach my desired goals, and even reminding me how far I have come. He is very disciplined, and I have learnt a lot from training with him. I had to move out of the state for my job, but kept working out with him right till the end. If I hadn't moved, I would have continued for sure. Overall the gym had a very friendly and encouraging atmosphere. I made some really good friends here. I, for sure have learnt so much in a short span of time, and he has set me on a lifelong path towards fitness. I would highly recommend PCF and the whole crew! Huge shout out to Josh, Sam, Krystyna. You guys have made this gym a wonderful place! More...

Q&As

Our primary tools in the gym are strength and conditioning workouts. No matter your age or gender, everyone needs to be able to have strength in their muscles and be able to have the energy to move for more than a few minutes at a time!
As you go through the process of training, you should be able to move from lighter simpler exercises into more complicated and challenging workouts that use your whole body. Your body is made to move, so let’s get it moving! (And guess what? Working out harder actually gets easier as you begin to move better). You don’t ever have to be perfect, so don’t worry about how challenging someone else’s workouts are or how much weight they’re lifting or how fast they’re going. We’ll get you experiencing progress right away!

Consistency is the key. No doubt this is an in-depth topic, but consistency is the ultimate bottom line. Now, it IS helpful to have someone plan your workouts for you and make sure you’re getting in all the right moves (let’s face it, you’re never going to get that done for yourself). It’s even more helpful to have someone helping you get your form right and making sure that you progress. And accountability is invaluable. (Knowing that your trainer is there waiting for you helps you stay consistent). But at the end of the day, if I or one of my trainers writes you a perfect workout program, you would be WAY better off doing 50% of it each day for a year than giving 110% for a week and then crashing and burning!
-Coach Joshua

The single greatest highlight of my work day is when a client has been struggling learning a challenging move and then “gets it”. When the lights come on, that mind-body connection is made, and their eyes light up with surprise and confidence there is no better feeling!! High five party!!
-Coach Joshua

When you have developed an extremely valuable skill that rarely exists outside of a small training studio, you have a responsibility to share it with others and not hide behind the security of a regular paycheck. It’s not the easy road, but our trainers have a tremendous impact on the people that they work with this way.

Stop wasting time and get in here! You’re not going to get it done by yourself!
