Q&As

I am passionate about helping canines get a second chance in life, to be a voice for them and to ultimately create a lifelong bond of trust and peace with the companion family. This individualized program helps you to communicate with them in canine ways that they can truly understand to change their behavior for the better. It can be lifesaving and ultimately helps you to better communicate with your dog for a peaceful life together.

My inspiration came from seeing stray city dogs who were frightened and homeless. I just knew there was a strong disconnect from simply sheltering them. They also needed to be understood on a canine level so that they can learn and feel stable and secure. After rescuing many strays, my Border Collie/Shepherd mix, Sugar, was my most treasured teacher of the canine mind.

I successfully rehabilitate canines of any age and breed with any type of behavioral issue, mostly higher level issues. I am proud to say that one of my previous and successful cases, a client with a previous bite issue, is now a certified therapy dog helping
children on a daily basis! Aside from my individual session work, I also lecture and teach my programs and seminars at 4 colleges. I've also hosted radio programs in Philadelphia and given interviews at major market radio stations as the canine expert and consultant. I recently received an award from the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association for my work. I am also an expert witness on behalf of dogs for court cases
