PCBob first helped me a number of years back when I thought my machine had been hacked. Bob was able to calm me down and it turned out it was just an attempted scam. A couple of years later, he set up my wife's new Win10 machine, copying over the data from her old Win7 machine, and migrating through the evolving Windows and Office minefields. This weekend, neither my wife nor I could log into her machine. We kept getting invalid password errors. Bob was able to quickly a) resolve the issue, b) make some changes to setting to help avoid the same issue in the future, and c) explain to me further some of the new "mines" which Win11 has introduced. Not once in any of our interactions has Bob been condesending in his explanations. He has always tried to give the facts accurately and with as much detail as I am able to follow. And this weekend as he was explaining some things to me again (as he did when he was setting up my wife's machine), not once did I feel an unspoken "I told this to you before. Why don't you understand?" I spent many years of my career in customer support, and I know how difficult it can sometimes be to take a deep breath and remain calm when explaining the same thing for the umpteenth time to another customer. If Bob ever had to take a deep breath to remain calm in response to my questions, I did not detect it. I highly recommend PCBob. I am a video producer and am totally reliant on my PC to edit all my work. The machine was getting extremely slow booting up and responding in general. It would sometimies hang when trying to open a program. I called Bob and he came very promptly and identified a number of things that were causing issues. What do you love most about your job?
The best part of my job is being able to help people with problems they thought were too complicated (orexpensive) to solve.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I was previously Head of IT at a large Medical School in London, but having taken time off for a career break to raise my children, starting my own business back helping users was the best fit for my life.
