I had to get my dad to drop my laptop in due to my work hours being the same as pc mot. I put a note in to say what I wanted. I got a text making sure I was happy to go ahead with a quote then a further text later in the day saying it was ready. Took my broken laptop to be looked at, time issue was a problem for me as I need it for my business. Dean said he'd try his best which he certainly did. Unfortunately my laptop couldn't be fixed for a reasonable cost, so I bought one off Dean, he transferred all my data from old comp to new one. His prices are extremely reasonable. I visited Pc Mot today for the third time in as many weeks,twice for two upgrades from windows 7 to windows 10 on two seperate computers and yesterday for a factory reset on my sons computer picking it back up today. l mainly dealt with a very pleasant young lady,Charlotte who was so helpful and patient with me on all visits and the charge for each job was very very reasonable and all completed by the next day so a very fast and efficient service.Iwill definitely be back when i need any further repairs.thankyou Charlotte. I have used PC MOT again recently and have done so for the past 5 years. I have watched them grow from a tiny shop to the store they have today. I have always experienced 1st class communicative assistance in resolving a number of laptop and desktop issues. They have provided help to cleanse old PC's for disposal and further advice when I was considering upgrades. I have also seen them build gaming PC's for enthusiasts. Dean and his team provide knowledgeable support and swift resolution to PC issues. I had a problem with internet browsing. Expertly worked around the problem, identifying that fixing the problem is too time consuming, but changing internet browser was an ideal way to continue with internet browsing. All steps to work around the problem were explained. I had no wait, and left 15 minutes later with my tablet working well again. I was recommended to PCMot by a friend and contacted the company on a Wednesday. The person to whom I spoke said there was no one available to help me until the Monday and that someone would contact me then. Unfortunately, this did not happen. At 10.00 am, I rang the company again and was immediately reassured that help was on hand and someone collected my "tower" within an hour.There were numerous problems including viruses in my system. I was impressed by the fact that the company maintained contact with me so I knew what was happening!! My "tower was returned and installed on the Thursday with a bill that was extremely reasonable.I thoroughly recommend PCMot in Exeter. As a foreigner, I was very happy to meet this gentleman. (Sometimes, in the UK I feel that some people just want to make money from me because they think I am foreigner and wouldn't know well. But actually I know well though I cannot express well in English) PC MOT was different and I feel he was very honest. One of great thing was 'No fix, No fee'. My All in one PC needed a new motherboard which is quite expensive so I decided to give up (it's already around 4 years). He spent 2 days for my PC and I was going to pay for his time and effort, but he said with smile "No fix, No fee'. So I just paid for the date saving. There are lots of free parking spaces on the road. When I have PC problem I will go to this place and want to recommend such a wonder place and person to many people.
