I had major problems after a computer re start. I have usually been able to sort out myself but I really tied myself up in knots with this one. I think Neil would agree that it wasn't easy for him either, my attempts to sort out the problem had made things more difficult! Anyway Neil stuck at it and succeeded. Not only is he very knowledgeable he is also a really nice chap to do business with. My ageing All in One is now working much better than it has for a long time and if I decide to upgrade , I know where I will be visiting. Thanks again , Tony P.S. OMG what a waste of time i bought 2 laptops from here and both broke was given with no drivers updated and seems he's always on the hussle for more cash and ad give cash over if i thought he knew what he was doing i ask for a creation usb tool so i could get my laptop working again and he doesn't even no what it was which if i was doing a service like this ad make sure i would of done it at a fair price for something that was free 25£ he quoted and he didn't want top download it the way i wanted he said oo i dont do all that stuff i was like nope and i walked out without saying ty cos yano 140£ for a 80£ laptop that wont turn on now a sham trust never get nowt from here he's rubbish and dear he shouldn't be in this business hes abit of a joke tbh only my opinion tho if ya want to waste ya money on something ad do for free then go ahead

I went to 2 local Currys PC World and was offered everything I didn't want plus extras. By chance found PC Academy got the laptop I wanted had all the information from old laptop loaded to new one through nobody's fault had to get new anti virus software and got a home visit to set up my printer and answer any questions I had. All this was for £60 less than buying it from Currys before all their add on's. Just shows it pays to shop local. I wanted a gaming p.c. built to my own spec, I had considered buying an off the shelf p.c. but decided to use a local shop instead. I spoke to Neil in the shop and gave him my budget and preferred specifications, the machine was built on time and within the budget.I am really pleased with the service and the little touches made to the p.c. to make me feel that care and attention had been made.My wife went to collect the p.c. for me and Neil even carried it out and loaded it into the car for her (what a gent) as it was pouring down.Great service, highly recommended.Thanks guys More...

I wanted a gaming pc built to my specifications by a local pc builder instead of an off the shelf or from an unknown provider.
This was the first time I have had a pc built for myself rather than building one myself and potentially making an expensive mistake.
I went to see Neil and asked about his recommendations for the pc with a budget in mind, after a few tweaks to the spec I then let him build it, it was done on time and worked perfectly.
I don't often write reviews however on this occasion I wanted people to know of the great experience and professionalism by PC Academy in Leyland.

Purchased a used iPad 4 and the condition was exceptional, looked like new. Went back to PC Academy to buy one for a friend and walked away with a used iPad mini in the same condition.
Neil said he only dealt in hand selected Apple items to guarantee quality and I would agree.
