What do you love most about your job?
I love working for a company that still cares about customer service. I am proud that our phone is answered by a person, no complicated phone system or extensions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Pay Tech was started by Dick Humphries in 1979 as an accounting firm. Payroll was added to the business at the request of clients. Payroll is now the biggest portion of our business. Dick's daughter Rene joined the company in 1998. Both are actively involved in day to day operations.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients choose Pay Tech because we are Phoenix based, and they like that it is a family owned business. They stay with us for excellent customer service, and the fact that we do not do annual rate increases. In fact, we have not raised rates on our clients in over 10 years!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We had many clients go to a strictly paperless payroll.
