Beautiful box was given along with his remains. Exceptional location and professional service. Really made this sad day a special one . Thank you so much. More...

It really moved me when I saw the amount of care that had gone into his cremation and with the presentation of his remains in the box. Thank you for helping me with my grieving process. More...

We have just lost our Pug Gus who we absolutely loved and adored, previously we have lost 3 pets which we left for the Vets to have cremated. This has always been a regret of mine, we have always felt vets show little compassion during these difficult times so on this occasion we sought an alternative. A little research drew me to call Paws to rest, we brought Gus home and booked with Paws to rest for 10am the following morning. Absolutley no regrets we are heartbroken and have been treated to the most compasionate experience possible, We had a same day single cremation for Gus and never experienced such sincere and genuine compassion. An absolute heartfelt thank you to all and especially to Vivienne. If you love your pet and want the best for them do not hesitate come to Paws to rest More...

I just recently lost my darling greyhound Sally recently and I have to say that the service at Paws to Rest was second to none. I had used them once before for my greyhound Nell and had actually visited their premises which are situated in beautiful countryside shortly afterwards so I knew that my Sally was in safe hands. It has given me such piece of mind at such a traumatic time and as with Nell Sally’s ashes were returned in a lovely wooden casket with her name inscribed on the top. There was also a lovely dried flower and the box was wrapped in purple tissue paper and came in a lovely bag. Being a member of the APPCC is so incredibly comforting as I certainly would not have had the same confidence with a non-member. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Paws to Rest. More...

Such a lovely area and along with that, a lovely lady who presented our beloved pet dog in a doggie basket that sat upon a beautiful cart and he was covered in a super soft blanket . ...It made us feel that our beloved friend was just sleeping in his forever home ...The casket along with a beautiful card of condolence and a thoughtful poem along with a sprig of heather that we received was so fitting....I know from the presentation of Taz's last resting place, that we now have in our and Taz's

Can't thank you all enough for the care and support you provided my family and I over the past 5 days. We had Skye put to sleep on the 20th of April and Nick came to pick her up. He was so kind and let us say our final goodbyes before taking Skye away. We were kept up to date the whole way through (my apologies for phoning so often!).

We received Skye's ashes today in a beautiful gold urn with a lovely name plate on the bottom of her urn. My family and I loved the touches you put in her box (dried flowers, condolences card etc). You took the weight off of our shoulders and we can't thank you enough for that!

If im honest I was shocked at how expensive it was but I can honestly swear it was worth every single penny. U exceeded my expectations and I am Truely grateful for our beautiful ash box that we got bk. Our beautiful boy Ollie passed away and we wanted to ensure he was cremated with care and consideration and most importantly that it could be guaranteed that he would receive an individual cremation. One pet crematorium which is local to us would not guarantee this nor would they let us see the actual cremation area, which set alarm bells ringing.Paws to Rest guaranteed Ollie would receive an individual cremation. We travelled from Northumberland today with our Ollie. We can only say we were overjoyed with the care and respect with which our boy was treated. The lady who looked after us was wonderful, we were given time to say our last goodbyes and she explained what would be done and that Ollie's ashes would be ready for us to collect within 2 hours. We had chosen the standard wooden casket with engraved plaque and we were asked what we would like to be engraved on it. When we returned Ollie was returned to us in a beautiful casket with an engraved plaque, a small spray of dried flowers and a lock of his hair, which was very thoughtful. The casket was in a discrete box and everything was carefully packed into a quality hessian bag. While waiting we were also looked after by Treacle, the lady's little black Patterdale terrier who was adorable and came to each of us in turn and behaved as if she somehow knew we were emotional All in all we are so pleased that we found Paws to Rest. A very caring. considerate and empathetic place. We would not hesitate to recommend them. More...
