It is never easy to loose a pet and our beloved cat Kawasaki was treated with love and respect on his final journey. We were so upset when we arrived but the care and attention we were shown was amazing, we had plenty of time to say goodbye in a respectful atmosphere. We cannot thank the people in this place enough. Thank You More...

Can't thank you all enough for the care and support you provided my family and I over the past 5 days. We had Skye put to sleep on the 20th of April and Nick came to pick her up. He was so kind and let us say our final goodbyes before taking Skye away. We were kept up to date the whole way through (my apologies for phoning so often!).

We received Skye's ashes today in a beautiful gold urn with a lovely name plate on the bottom of her urn. My family and I loved the touches you put in her box (dried flowers, condolences card etc). You took the weight off of our shoulders and we can't thank you enough for that!

Amazing service, when we our beloved Cracker crossed the rainbow bridge 22/12/15 we came to Paws to Rest within a couple of hours. I got to spend some time with him in the little chapel and say goodbye. I was allowed to see the crematorium to put my mind to rest. Thank you so much for all you do. More...

Thank you so much for my ashes of Emily beautifully presented with her name on it and a lovely sympathy card, of course the poem made me cry again. It's been the hardest days of my life her not being here and being my first dog to lose but she is now out of pain and she had a good life and lots of good memories. The ashes are going around the tarn where she loved. Thanks again More...

On the 18th of January our beautiful little cat felix was stuck by a car outside our house. Me, my partner and our 5 kids were absolutely devastated. After much thought we decided it would be best to have our boy cremated for our kids sake and to save them any upset. If im honest I was shocked at how expensive it was but I can honestly swear it was worth every single penny. U exceeded my expectations and I am Truely grateful for our beautiful ash box that we got bk. Everthing about it was special, from the lovely bag, to the flower bouquet and the beautiful paper and lovely card and most of all his ash box with his name. It will bring alot of comfort to our children who love and miss him dearly. Again thank you very much for providing such an amazing service. Many thank Anne-Marie & Family xxx More...

Monty was taken to our vets at the Veterinary Clinic, Carleton who were fantastic. Monty was taken care of by Paws to Rest and he came back to us a few days later.
we didn't know what to expect. He came back in a beautiful casket carefully wrapped with a lovely card. I can't recommend Paws to rest enough. A fabulous service. Kevin & Andrea

Our beautiful boy Ollie passed away and we wanted to ensure he was cremated with care and consideration and most importantly that it could be guaranteed that he would receive an individual cremation. One pet crematorium which is local to us would not guarantee this nor would they let us see the actual cremation area, which set alarm bells ringing.Paws to Rest guaranteed Ollie would receive an individual cremation. We travelled from Northumberland today with our Ollie. We can only say we were overjoyed with the care and respect with which our boy was treated. The lady who looked after us was wonderful, we were given time to say our last goodbyes and she explained what would be done and that Ollie's ashes would be ready for us to collect within 2 hours. We had chosen the standard wooden casket with engraved plaque and we were asked what we would like to be engraved on it. When we returned Ollie was returned to us in a beautiful casket with an engraved plaque, a small spray of dried flowers and a lock of his hair, which was very thoughtful. The casket was in a discrete box and everything was carefully packed into a quality hessian bag. While waiting we were also looked after by Treacle, the lady's little black Patterdale terrier who was adorable and came to each of us in turn and behaved as if she somehow knew we were emotional All in all we are so pleased that we found Paws to Rest. A very caring. considerate and empathetic place. We would not hesitate to recommend them. More...

I first went to Paws to Rest in 2003 and many times since, most recently 07/11/14 following the passing away of my beautiful Vizsla Roxy. I would not consider taking my precious pets anywhere else for cremation. All the staff show true compassion and professionalism, both to you and your pet. I must give a special mention to Viv whom I have come to know over the years and although through sad circumstances, look on her as a friend. The care received is second to none, you will be comforted by knowing your pets last office is conducted with love and dignity, this is not a "job" to Viv, its a vocation and I personally hope she continues there for many years to come.A big thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend Paws to Rest. More...

Having lost our one of our pet dogs in tragic circumstances whilst on holiday in south west Scotland earlier this year I cannot commend the service from "Paws to Rest" highly enough. We used the local vets to our holiday accommodation who's services included a cremation option, but being holidaymakers some 250miles from home I contacted Nick and Vivienne Ricketts and we arranged for Jessie to be returned to us via courier in a metal urn.I am so impressed with the attention to detail and professional service provided I felt I should write a review. (I hardly every do reviews as I'm so used to not getting decent service in this day and age)..? Thank you so much for making a tragic and difficult situation more bearable with Love, care and professionalism. The Skeltons More...

Rebo, our old dog had to be put to sleep, so we asked our Vet for the ashes to be returned to us. We didn't know where the cremation would be carried out, or what exactly would be returned to us. We were absolutely delighted when we received a lovely quality casket with the ashes inside. There was an inscribed plate on top and a small posy of flowers. All of this was boxed and presented in a quality hessian carrier bag. I have to congratulate and thank Paws to Rest for doing a superb job and give them the highest possible recommendation. More...
