Really happy with my recent visit to your shop. Love this shop. The staff are so attentive and always ask after our foster dog, who visits regularly and loves the attentions she gets :) They are different to other pet shops, they really care about the animals in their care and really go that extra mile to look after their customers. Thank you Paws for taking such good care of our foster dog. She went in for grooming and came back smelling beautiful and looking so happy :) for a dog who was so quiet and nervous when she first arrived with us, it was wonderful to see :) The whole team at Paws are always on hand to help and really go that extra mile. Great shop, friendly staff, I have received many pets from here and also many high end accessories, treats and more. Although two unfortunately disappointing areas where the shop has failed slightly, compared to other very similar shops in the general area, and online, the prices are borderline outrageous, and having been many times, since I used to live in Monmouth, reptiles are advertised as in stock all the time, but 9 times out of 10 I have been in, there are little or no reptiles, and if there are they are almost always pre named or on a seemingly endless health check so not for sale. Love this store. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff, first went here a few weeks before we got our pup to stock up on supplies and got some great advice on what would be suitable for a young puppy. Ended up getting some of Bella's favourite toys from here, which 6 months on and after numerous tug or war challenges are still in one piece. More...

Had such a great experience today with Chepstow Pet Supplies.

I rang the store to ask about a dog jacket for my Welsh Collie, as he is a really strange size (long but skinny) I have been skeptical about purchasing items online as they tend to be too short.

The staff went the extra mile for me, contacting their Monmouth store and offering to send to the Chepstow store the products I wanted to try on my dog, all by phone, with timely responses.

I ended on taking my dog to the store and trying on a few jackets before settling on the right product at a great price.

I shall defiantly be using this supplier again.

Fantastic local Pet Store, Yes at times a little more pricey than online retailers but you have to respect the overheads they have VS that faceless online company that adds little to nothing to our local community.

Great selection, we use Burn's biscuits for our little pooch and have recently purchased an aquarium, just letting it settle and will be heading in to get some fish and food!

Keep up the good work, Only suggestion i would have is to be more vocal on social media to reach out to more potential customers. More...

I was assisted by Nina. She was really helpful, friendly and went out of her way to help me and you could tell she loves dogs.

She advised me on all of the dog foods available for my new puppy and also advised me to change my other dogs food as he has a skin condition and is a fussy eater.

Always had great service here, friendly staff, and a well organised good range for such a small shop. I usually come to get food for my reptile here and have always been of good condition and value.

The Shop is run by really friendly people, I have shopped here for years and have bought rabbits and fish from Paws and I am really happy with how I have been treated.

The Main Owner is really friendly and I have observed her as being really helpful to other customers and their pets that come into her shop.

Reading the previous negatives reviews I cannot believe these people are talking about the same shop.

I know a lot of hard work goes into the shop and that the customer service is normally at a high standard.

Not many shops go out of there way to find items that the customers are looking for. Being a small family run shop when there is something specific I need they look through all there suppliers to find what I want. If I was to goto a big chain shop they only have on the shelf what head office tells them to stock. More...
