This is not a review but some insight for anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker. Today around 1.20 I was coming back with my dog from our walk( haresfield beacon) I saw this chap get his gear on and opened up his van and out came a Staffy I believe. This was one very happy dog he had a slip lead on walking to the field once through the gate and safe he was told to sit and then let off. I can say this dog was having a wonderful time and a great run of his lead all the time whilst Rich was walking with another chap he was constantly keeping an eye on this dog. The dog was having a ball and was kept close by ....Wether it was Rich's dog or a clients he was in good hands. If I need a dog walker in the future I know who I will be contacting. More...

And, whilst there is little doubt that you are the most qualified person to be overseeing their exercise and training regimes, due to your brimming social and professional diary, you cannot always be at their beck and call. That's why Paws for Thought provide an exceptional dog walking service that you can rely on, whether it be for a one-off walk or on a regular basis. Our free initial consultation will establish the best time to take your dog out walking so that its not left alone for longer than 4 hours whilst you're away so you can rest assured your pooch is happily walked out and not munching its way through your skirting board. Pet Visits
Our Pet Visit service is for pet owners who work long hours, or are for whatever reason unable to get home on their launch break to tend to their pets needs. Maybe you have a small, mature or unwell dog that only needs a little exercise. You might be the happy owners of a new puppy and could just do with a little help dealing with the joyful chaos whilst your out at work or at an appointment. If you've planned a short break or a holiday and have cats, we can save your mogs the stress of the cattery by looking after them in their own envoironment. We can check in on your pets on a regular basis and visit them up to three times daily. So whether we're entertaining your 'almost' house trained puppy, administering your poorly pooch medication or dealing with any hunting presents your cat may have left you, you can rest assured your pets and home will be secure. We will keep you up to speed on your pets well-being via text or email and if you're away we can put out the bins, water your plants and tidy up your post. Simply a great way to ensure your furry friends spend less time home alone from now on!
Day Care
Paws for Thought offer a Day Care service that is an ideal solution for any dog owners who work long hours, have days out planned or who are just simply visiting friends with cats. One of our pet care professionals will pick up your pooch at 9am and keep it company until 4pm when we will drop it home tuckered out after a great day of countryside walks, lots of doggie interaction and more fuss than you could shake a big stick at. Of course any specific needs will be tailored to suit whether that be sneakily administering medication in treats or making sure the daily frizbee quota is met.
Pet/house Sitting
If you're heading off on holiday or away on business and fear that your pooch and favourite gerbil may create some unwanted attention being stuffed in your suit case or your boss may simply not approve, don't panic!! Our Pet/House Sitting service will save you the embarrassment! We offer an in-house (at your home) sitting service that is a practical and comforting alternative to kennels. We can arrange to stay in your home and give your dogs around the clock care ensuring they get plenty of exercise, fuss and social interaction. We provide our own bedding and food so all you need to do is make sure there is sufficient dog food and treats for your time away. In addition to pampering your furry friends we will collect your post, put the bins out, water your plants and even stock up your fridge with groceries. We will update you on how they're getting on with texts and photos and leave you a doggie diary on what they've been getting up to whilst you're away.
